  I noticed that since a few weeks I'm not able to buy a movie more if:

  -Set store account never ask for password

  -Activate restrictions (set a password) and all buy "limited."

  It works with the same configuration perfectly on my Apple TV 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation, where clicking on the buy button you are prompted to enter the password instead of having to enter your iTunes account password every time.

  But on the Apple TV 4th gen, once I click the button to buy, I get the circle of rotation and it keeps just there, never ask the password so that the operation never happens.

  If I disable the restrictions for the purchase of movies, I can buy the movie (do not ask for an access code and password)

  If I put the password on all your purchases, I am also able to buy the film.

  But still, if I set the password to "ask always", then enable password, set 'focused' purchases (so I'm in the best situation: should I get the password dialog box when I'm about to buy anything, rather than the full itunes password) it simply doesn't.

  And again, if I try to do the same thing on Apple TV 1st generation, 2nd generation, 3rd generation, they have all THE work. (Click on buy, get the guest password, enter my 4 digits, in fact)

  The thing is that I am convinced that it worked before this nonsense.

  Sounds like the menu remote synchronization and the battery being dead in the remote control.  Try reloading the remote: load your Siri remote or Apple TV Remote - Apple Support

  Note that you use the provided cable and a USB charger, or a USB port.

  Note also you can try and use the remote control that plugged while and do not need to wait three hours to fully charge.

• Apple 4th Gen tv - "sleep" mode

  With the last s/w update, my Apple TV is not in sleep mode when running applications. It worked well with the prerequisite s/w. The most notable are the runtime of Netflix and NF completed streaming. If I exit NF at the main menu, "sleep" mode works very well.

  I contacted NF, and they said that this is not something they can control or effect.

  Any suggestions on how to remedy this situation?

  As far as I know, the sixth Gen iPod Classic should, theoretically, work with the EU Boom 2 via 3.5 mm audio cable "male-male". Can anyone confirm their experience that this is the case?

  I have no experience with that specific product, but if it has a standard (cable) analog audio input auxiliary iPod headphones (and more), is a standard analog audio output.

  I bought a 4th gen Apple tv to replace my 2nd generation it about 3 months ago. My girlfriend and I have a id iTunes and one account and both are set up on the new Apple TV. On the older, we could switch between his ID and mine, based on content, we wanted to see (each of buy us our TV shows or movies). With the 4th gen ATV, it requires the password whenever we change my account to hers, and vice versa. How can I configure the ATV to remember (not required) our passwords each time we have ID?

• Apple TV 4th gen: Photo app does just not for me

  Hi all

  I have a brand new Apple TV 4th gen 32 GB. The application Photo (photo stream in particular) does everything just for me.

  Most of the photos is not synchronized (iCloud icon). What is ironic, is that the 'photo stream' will display the last picture took from my iphone.

  It is very annoying because it's the app more interesting to use on a large television screen.

  Could you please share your experience with this application?

  HI I have 4 th from the 3rd generation gen aptv. I mainly use mine for my works of fantastic music as Iam a subscriber of Apple's music, I normally use the photo as a slide show app while the music plays. However I paid extra monthly void exrra I cloud storage for my 10 k photos, I was disappointed initially only heard photo stream photos photo enforcement and not my 10 k photos, which Canberra played on my iMac iPhone and iPad, but since finding that it did not work to my satisfaction, I did the following. I shared my pictures via I share with myself in cloud and spent a lot of s of time to select and put pictures into Albums or Rome Corfu etc. and shared albums now appear on the aptv. My biggest problem now, it's how many photos is repeated on the slideshow, I know there is a possibility of not repeating the pictures but I find if I select that for some reason any he may play 5-7 photos, then come back to the main menu, curiously this also happens if I use my VAC flckr the same thing happens a few times, he plays a round of photos over and over again and then all of a sudden it changed for a new batch. I can only hope Apple will address this issue later with an update, I would like to see the photos on the aptv app as it appears on my iMac phone etc, I asked this to Apple. Aside from that Iam enjoying this very well compared to the older generation, Yes, I bought plane finder app for my phone that I view somes and today I discovered that I can download to the Aptv very happy but still more happy if the patch on the side of the photos of it.

  I just got my 4th gen APPTV.

  The only thing I can't seem to locate are all my playlists. I created playlists in iTunes continues to play my TV shows and film genres. Easy access with the 3rd generation, been doing this for a few years now.

  Got the 4th gen and there is no place or setting to "Show all playlists" as on the 3rd generation.

  IS it still possible on the 4th gen?

  I tried searching but may seem only to find things of music, nothing about movies and/or music videos.

• Can't play music bought on the cloud on Apple TV (4th gen)

  I just started to use the Apple's music, and when I go to my music on my MacBook Air and iPhone/iPad, I can play anything I added whether through Apple music, music purchased from the iTunes Store or my own music that corresponded via iCloud music library.

  On my Apple TV (4th gen), however, I can't play the purchased songs. Apple and my own songs music songs play fine. But if I choose one of the purchased albums, the screen does is display the album artwork for every song Flash by very quickly, but does not play anything.

  Have you actually enabled Siri in settings > general > Siri, or are you just using the Siri button on the remote control?

• How can I restart the Apple TV Remote (4th Gen)

  I have a relatively new Apple TV (4th Gen) and tonight after a few weeks of work perfectly, the remote control slide to the right and in other directions only intermittently. I read up before you call Apple and it seems to me that it is a new issue. Here my question is it possible to restart the remote where the little glitches occur. A poster suggested battery, it looks like there must be a pressure button to reset the remote control, if you know of one, please post. I'll try next, logout and re-pairing to see what is happening, and then from there head to the store tomorrow.

  So I solved the problem by restarting the Apple TV itself, and now the remote works again. Also amazing that my iPhone was working very well as a remote control before the reboot, so don't know why this Apple TV restarting fixed but there.

  So I bought 64GB 4th gen Apple TV for the family as a Christmas gift.  A lot of excitement, right.  You can imagine the scene.  I followed the directions and the plug, it and pops up a menu in Chinese or Korean.  OK, I think I can work my way through it at random and change the language... but the remote does nothing.  I tried not matching and re-twinning of the remote control and I get any flashing lights on the Apple TV device.  I have reset all mutiple times and I tried a bluetooth connection with my iPhone but not the bluetooth option still appears on my phone.  Apple TV is 4th gen junk?

  Take it back to Apple for testing or from another unit.
