Apple music turn on and iCloud library

Hi, I initially activated music Apple iCloud library during my 3 month trial and he has deleted all my music on my iPhone/iPad and iMac playlists and I had to reset all my devices to factory settings and start over again and recreate playlists. I am interested in the reactivation of apple's music once again.  It will remove all my playlists again if I reactive on all my devices?

also I have an iPod classic 160 gb that I use on a regular basis, how does this affect apple music?

Thanks in advance

Alistair

If you have created playlists for music in your iTunes library, then those should not be affected by the Apple music. That said you should always run Time Machine or another backup solution in case something goes wrong.

If you re-enable music Apple and iTunes in the cloud corresponds to all the tracks in your library and available to any eligible device that supports music Apple. Securities without correspondence will be downloaded and available for broadcast as well as iTunes Match made. Once this process is complete, you can create new playlists that incorporate the musical Apple or make use of the Apple held selections in the sections 'For You' and 'New' to iTunes and the app music iOS.

Note that Apple music is protected by DRM and devices must have wifi or cell phone to confirm your subscription before you can listen to or download songs from Apple's music. So your iPod Classic won't work with Apple music. Unfortunate but that's its something that will not change.

  • How to synchronize the photo library with the photo existing on iMac and iCloud library?

Recently, I did a troubleshooting with Advisor to Apple for my iMac with the last OS X that I had a problem connecting to iCloud. Then he asked me to turn off services iCloud, including photos of iCloud but leaves all the databases. So now the problem went but when I turned on the photos from iCloud, it started to download all the photos back to the iCloud (6300 + pictures) instead of synchronization as it should.

Is it possible to recognize the photos with the iCloud desktop library? Thank you!

It's sync - just let it go - once you disconnect, then reconnect it must check each picture in order to ensure that it is correctly synchronized - i.e. how she "reconizes" that the photos are a ther

  • Apple music to remove my entire library, several times.

Apple's music has been a mess for me. He took my entire library once. And on another occasion that he removed all the songs saved in offline mode, which happened 3 times different in a few months. I'm so close to end my subscription. Any ideas to fix this? I was hoping upgrading to iOS 9.2 would help, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

I have not had this problem myself Luckily, but others are based on the posts here. There is a new form of feedback from music Apple which includes the topic of data loss in type of comment. I suggest that you introduce the details of your experience to Apple directly. More people who are more likely that problems should be placed. http://www.Apple.com/feedback/Apple-music.html

  • Apple Music - Albums disappear from the library of Apple?

    Hey brilliant minds,.

I'm digging music Apple, but I have the impression that they continue to move my cheese. I'll listen to an album, not usually add it to the local device unfortunately then I look for the album and it is gone.

The songs are able to be searched in the system individually, but not in the list of reading/album format. Pretty frustrating. Apart from many examples, the most recent is Magical Mystery Tour - the Beatles. Thursday, it's in their library, Sunday, it's as if it never happened. All the songs are there, but I can't find the album in the library for a consistent experience. It is the latest example, but I struggled through it before.

You all see this album in the library? Suck my research skills? I tried iOS Mac/Windows and iPhone/Pad. Again, played through it days ago, so he was there. Thank you!

Well, this example is back in their library. Pretty weird, but the end result = win

  • IPhoto and iCloud library backup

Hello - I've changed the location of the iPhoto library of HD on an external drive.  iCloud as results started to download all the photos again.  ICloud creates a duplicate? How can I make iCloud realize that this is the same library?

No it's not duplicate anything - it checks to see if iCloud.com is correct - when you moved the Photos of the library has no idea if it's the same thing or not and have check - in mhy personal experience it's much faster than the upload of the Moose, but more needs to be done and has no way to shortcut it

  • My music is gone and the library.itl method did not work. Help, please!

I realized that all the songs in my library disappeared, with the exception of those that I bought. I have read a few older threads on people who have this same problem after an update and tried the steps (detected the itunes library.itl file, renaming etc.), but it did not work.

My music is all saved on my computer and an extra hard drive, but I have more than 20,000 songs and I need my playlists to my business events and the demo of sampling and that makes me desperate. Is there anyway that I can restore my itunes when everything was perfect without slipping literally 20,000 songs in itunes? not to mention those of CDs. thank you if it is not resolved I can cry really.

You say that you have a backup of your music, but you also have a backup of your library files?  Your playlists are only in your file "itunes library".

I kind of suspect that you may have not followed exactly the instructions. When you install an update the iTunes application puts a copy of your old library file in the previous record of libraries with a date added at the end.  It is essentially the only thing that has your playlists and a list of media in your media folder.  iTunes creates a library update, then he calls "iTunes Library.itl" If this update procedure is not successful (and in most cases, it is) you can restore it by going to the previous iTunes libraries folder and make a copy of the latest library here (by date, you can see), rename the file by removing everything except "iTunes Library.itl" and what to put in the main folder of iTunes.  Restart iTunes.  If that really, really does not then your recourse to use the library files backup copies you hopefully takes place before that you did any kind of update software on your computer.  It's triply critical if you use equipment on a professional basis because your business depends on.

If necessary, you can work your way through the previous libraries although they will not be updated. Me realize also that what you see in iTunes is only a list of what is in the file of the library and if you return to a library very old media are still in the media folder, but are unknown to iTunes because they do not appear in the old file to the library.

  • ICloud drive and ICLOUD library missing photos

Only a few of my photos appear in iCloud photo library and none in my ICloud Drive app on my 6s. Where are my other 500 + saved pictures?

Try the settings/iCloud and remove the synchronization. Wait a few minutes and then resynchronize.

  • Corresponding to my music with icloud library

Why it takes so long for my imported music correspond with the icloud library. It's CD in my collection that I want to import. Their loading on iTunes to be able to remove the download sometimes takes 20 minutes or more

    Try restarting your modem/router.

  • Some Notes on iCloud library on a Mac

iCloud photo library is a great way to keep the libraries in sync across several Macs. Most of the changes made on a Mac will update on all Macs that also use iCloud photo library (we'll ignore for now iOS devices).

Exceptions to the rule: (use pictures and iCloud library on several Macs - Apple Support)

    • Projects does not synchronize: books, cards, calendars and slideshows
    • Thumbnails of faces doesn't sync, faces only available tags.
    • Not referenced photos download to iCloud photo library at all.

Not all media items can download on iCloud photo library. If the photo library has been upsized from iPhoto or Aperture, it can contain media, which are not compatible with iCloud photo library, for example some audio file format, or TIFF images high resolution. These will show as 'Local' only at the bottom of the display of Photos.

Because the version of your photo library iCloud can miss information compared to the local version, a library of Photos to iCloud recovery can be frozen. Always keep a good local backup.

Sometimes Photos will begin to download the complete library again to iCloud to compare it to the version of iCloud. This new download may take a very long time. For example, complete my library with 36000 necessary pictures a week to download it again.

A new download will occur after the following events:

Try to avoid these situations, if possible.  Photos's repeated outages can cause a repair of the library, but also issues permission, when you use the library of Photos from different user accounts.

Ahh, very useful information.  And show me how meet the requirement of 'Ask a Question' new specialties when there isn't a question at hand.  Thank you.

  • Remove iCloud library remove my photos from my camera

I want to back up my data but the I cloud photo library takes too much space so I want to know if turn off iCloud library would remove the pictures and videos from my camera, and I don't have a pc if you are using a computer would not be a valid solution

I was wondering this too! I received an email from Apple as soon as I turned off my iCloud photo library, and he says: "You must download full resolution photos and videos at least one device before they are deleted icloud library within 30 days."

"Photos full resolution" are pictures that have more pixels, compared to photos low low-pixel resolution. If you're wondering what pixels are and why they are important, they essentially affect the size and sharpness of a photo. Large, clear photo is a full/high resolution photo. A small blurry photo is a picture of low resolution.

I'm sure this means that if you want the best and the most beautiful photos, you can let your iCloud photo library on. If you don't mind more blurry, less polite pictures, turn the power off. Keep reading, though, before you go turn off your iCloud library.

Good, now that I've explained what activating / deactivating the iCloud photo library will do to your photos, I will give you the answer to your question:

I don't think that the pictures on your iPad will be deleted if you turn off your iCloud photo library. If your photos mean a lot to you and you don't want to take the risk to remove, do not turn off your iCloud photo library. Turn it off and not turn on again in 30 pourrait delete your photos. I don't think he's going to remove them, but it could very likely.

Summary of my response/TLDR: I do not think that your photos will be deleted if you turn off your iCloud photo library, but they might, so if your photos are very important to you (and you do not want to risk having to delete them), then keep it.

  • Apple music family free 3 month subscription if a member already used

Hello. I'll put up my family shares account specifically for the Apple's music, and I have two questions:

    1. If there is available free 3 month trial for the whole family, is the family organizer that only 'click' (eg on his iPhone) and it is available for all members? Or all of them need to click separately?
    2. What happens if a member already used this free trial version and other members had no? The whole family is charged after the first month?

    Hi varvados,

The resources below will explain how to change your individual membership of Apple's music for a family membership and how to set up in the sharing of the family.

Manage your membership Apple music on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or PC

Move from an individual membership to a family membership

With a family membership at Apple music, families of up to six people can enjoy all the benefits of Apple music, each with their own library. If you have joined Apple music as an individual Member, you can change to a family membership at any time. You can also switch to an individual membership if you choose. You can also attach an existing family membership.

    Join an existing family membership

If you have an individual membership of music Apple and want to join an existing family membership, follow these steps:

    1. Disable the automatic renewal of your individual membership.
    2. Ask the organizer of the family membership you want to join invite you to join the Group.
    3. Accept the invitation to participate in a family group.
    4. After accepting the invitation, open the Apple app music and make sure that you are part of the group.

    Implement the family sharing

After you configure the sharing of family, you can invite members of your family to join.

Author invites people to join the family

As long as you use both iOS 8 and later versions or OS X Yosemite and later, you can add anyone who owns an Apple ID to your family. If you have children, use these steps to create Apple ID them and add them to your group. Use the steps below to add someone who already has an ID of Apple.

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:

    Enjoy!

  • Can you get Apple music on old apple tv without antenna gen?

I'm really cheesed off on uninstalling iTunes Radio from the older generation AppleTV.  I hope someone can tell me what I'm missing, but it seems that the only option to use your subscription to Apple's music with a 3rd generation Apple TV now is to Airplay of another device.  I tried to create a playlist on my Mac which included music I've owned and music from Apple and the only titles in the playlist when I access it from the Apple TV are the ones I own, so I can't yet create a playlist with Apple music in there and read it.  So to "access your music on any device.  I think that really means "access your music on any device that is less than 1 year old"!

Bottom line, my subscription to Apple's music has less value for me now.  I'm All in on the ecosystem of Apple, but I shouldn't use Airplay to get my Apple music on television.  If I want to do this, I use Pandora and not pay for nothing.

I know I could buy a new Apple TV and an Apple music app, but I feel like I should have.  Apple should make an application Apple music for 3rd generation, Apple TV, IMO.

Am I missing something?  Is there another way I can use my subscription of Apple's music on a 3rd generation Apple TV that I'm missing?

    Thank you!

I'm really impressed by this movement. It worked very well in December and then everything disappeared. I thought he would come back after I signed up for the Apple's music, but the radio link is still missing music on Apple TV 3 rd GEN WTH Apple.

  • Apple music ask me to sign up, but I'm on a family plan...

Apple music keeps giving me the registration screen, but my profile reveals the family plan. So many songs will be not good. Anyone else having this problem?

Many of us are. I had Apple music since September and mine stopped working this morning, around 7:30 am (EST). I think the service is inaccessible.

  • After that downgrade of iOS 10 Apple music crashing and slaughtered library loading

After I lowered the rating of iOS 10 my Apple music app would load as usual except when I'd go to the library where all ablums would show the Apple symbol music instead of album art. Whenever I need to click on the play button or a physical song, the app closed at the home screen. I came to the discussion earlier and tried some of the options they had here, as a reset, turn iCloud music market and stop, restart/restore forced, etc.. I did all these things, and now after a hard backup and restore of my dev that nothing had changed, the app would crash again. Then I went into the settings and merged my iCloud music when I turned it on and now the library is stuck on loading the library sign, but no progress. I don't know what to do and I need my music back please help!

I can can help you when you are under iOS 10 beta 1 and decommissioning. iOS 9.3, new functions and new data what iOS 9.3 not taken care of, I suggest spending Aidan to iOS 10 and try to watch if it is not to break more

  • How can I turn on iCloud library music on my iPod Classic 180 GB

I have an iPod Classic 180 GB which I only use in the car.

When I try to transfer the Playlist of 'Music Apple' I get the following message

I can't find an option on my iPod Classic to turn on iCloud music library.

    If someone can advise?

I suspect that the answer will be that the iPod Classic doesn't support Apple's music

I'll be disappointed if I can't do it. Pay £15 a month for music from Apple, but not being is not able to use my iPod Classic in the car with her will suck...

Well, it's more fundamental than that... iPod classic doesn't have an Internet connection, so there is no way to access your music to iCloud library.  And it does not support downloads of music by Apple (song subscribed files you can download Music from Apple), because it can not verify your subscription (no Internet connection) as required by the content producers.  only iPod that can play songs music from Apple's iPod touch, because it is an iOS with Internet, like the iPhone and the iPad device.
