Apple music without a game?

Is it possible to have music Apple without him for my current iTunes library? I did the test about a year ago and it has messed up all my album art, live albums, etc. It was a nightmare, and still a lot of my album art is completely wrong...

Basically I want to have as Spotify where it does not touch to my iTunes library but allows me to add to it through the Apple music instead. I'd love to have an app for music and loved Apple put music aside from the corresponding component.

Is it possible to configure?

Yes, just keep iCloud library disabled on your computer in the preferences.

This prevents the correspondence of your music on your computer.

  • How transefer library of music to another device (Apple Music)

I just purchased a subscription to the music of Apple and added music from my existing iTunes about 1400 songs library (not all songs have been purchased directly through iTunes but most were). Once I enabled the Apple music subscription however, my Macbook is no longer directly sync to my iPhone. This includes all my previous music and playlists as well. I would really only two devices to have the same things, but I can't figure out how to transfer all the music on my iPhone since my Macbook that contains my complete library. Can someone help me please understand the best way to complete this transfer without having to download all via wi - fi?

  • I can't play my Apple music albums downloaded?

A few days ago, I decided to sign up for the Apple Music 3 month free trial.  Then, I went and downloaded about 4 albums, so that I wouldn't have to have the Internet connection to be able to listen to them.  However, the next night, when I tried to play without an Internet connection, it gave me an error message.  Unfortunately, I didn't take a screenshot of it at the time.  When I got home, I tried to play my songs with the Internet, and it worked fine.  I have re-uploaded them just in case.  The next morning, I tried to play the songs with Wifi off and again got the message:

I you exit the application, Wifi turned on and tried to play again.  They played very well.  I then disabled Wifi and tried to play again, and they played perfectly!  No problem at all!  The best I can figure is, the application wants me to 'check in' with its servers every 12 hours or more.  Does anyone else have this problem?  I use a Mini 1 iPad with iOS 9.2.1.  Thank you!

    Hi Iantastic,

Sorry to hear that you have questions, play your Apple music offline.  If you get this prompt again, I suggest you follow the prompt and disable iCloud library, as suggested by the guest.  Then restart your iPhone, activate iCloud library again and try to download a different album or songs.  Let us know if the problem persists after trying this.

With the help of the new music app

    Listen offline

You can download songs, including songs that you purchased from the iTunes Store, adding music from Apple, or have been matched or downloaded with Apple music or iTunes game - to your device to listen to when you're not connected to the Internet:

    1. Tap the Options icon plus next to the item.
    2. Press the download icon to the right of the work of the song at the top of the menu of Options, or tap more to download from the bottom of the menu.
    3. The song is downloaded on your device.

To display the music you downloaded for offline listening, go to my music. In the section recently added, press the category picker (artist, album, etc.). Only downloaded music is at the bottom of the list of categories. When this setting is enabled, My Music shows only the songs you downloaded on your device. Disable this setting to see all of your music, including the music stored in iCloud music library.

When you view an item that you have downloaded on your device, you will see an icon offline near it but its exact location varies. For example:

    • If you download a whole album or playlist, offline icon appears when you look at the album or playlist in my music. You will also see an icon in offline mode when you view a compilation, but not when you view specific genres, composers or artists.
    • If you download a song, the offline icon to the right of each title of the song.
    • If you download songs from the album, but not whole album, offline icon appears to the right of the just the songs you downloaded.

  • Why is my iTunes play count incorrect since I started using the apple music?

Apple music - usually as the because you work and I listened to some great stuff.  BUT, I went on holiday in Italy (no data service) to find that I have virtually no songs on my phone. I was just find around with iTunes on my mac and phone. I wanted to make sure that I got a lot out there.

I have a couple of smart playlists, I checked the last played column and it's more than a month, according to my iTunes I have not played any music at all since I joined apple music.

This is why my smart playlists are not updated etc etc.

How can I fix this? I disabled could run the music on my phone and downloaded all the music on it but the data are still hurting.

    Help, please

    Hi wooliewoollard,

If I understand your question, you want to know why your iTunes Library to play the counts do not show your activity using Apple's music.  Could you give a little more information on how you use the Apple music subscription?  It seems to me you have been mainly streaming content on your device.  While you can indicate your Favorites, which will update the suggestions For You, unless you download music to play offline, play music from your music collection, counties smart playlists and the game will not be updated.

Take a look at the resource below to get a better understanding of the functioning of the subscription of music to Apple and the music app:

  • Apple music always spoil information and album artwork exist?

I had the trial for Apple music when firstly, he came out and tried but he kept switching my existing cover and I think that some of the information too (e.g. Summer Jams 2013 work would replace the 2Pac album artwork). Apple music would be preferable on Spotify or tide if it worked correctly, but I'm not willing to compromise my library of music (more than 2000 songs) for her. If someone could let me know if it is still a problem for the majority of people or any other major issue, that I should be aware that would be great.

I signed up two weeks ago for the Apple's music he having abandoned the year last due to ruin all my cover art. I thought I'd try that by now they must have resolved the problems that caused it. WRONG it does exactly the same thing and at least 15% of my wallet was still wrong. Different albums by the same artist all had the same cover compilations had laughable cover assigned to them, more successful Robbie Williams had Hits of 2004 cover etc etc. I disabled icloud library, restored my music and for now uses Apple music without icloud music enabled Bookstore but I'll cancel it again once, as there not now the required functionality.

Why he cannot accept any correct iTunes cover art I have no idea.

  • iTunes game - iCloud status - 'Apple Music'

    Hey guys,.

You are looking for some kind of fix to my iTunes library. I recently decided to try downloading my entire library on the cloud using iTunes game (decided against the free Google game option as I want it to be integrated into all my iOS devices) but I noticed that some of my songs are returned with a status of 'Apple Music' to iCloud instead of "Linked" or "downloaded."

A quick google reveals that this means he was a native of Apple music, but these are direct mp3 downloaded from my iTunes library (when I right, click on the song-> Get Info-> file-> type: MPEG audio file). My dilemma is that if I delete my original file and finally want to re - re-download the file offline, changes to 'Sort of file' 'Music of Apple', which I found out, is a file locked of DRM.

This isn't what I want because I don't plan to keep a subscription Apple music forever (only have it because Telstra offered it free for 12 months on a postpaid plan) and I'd like to keep all my music on my iCloud library all without DRM.

Does anyone know a work-around for this? Very much appreciated!

    Thank you!

    Hello

If the State of cloud is displayed as 'Apple Music', it is a mistake. I sometimes noticed that during the matching process, other titles show first music Apple but shortly after the matching process ends they change correspondents or download.

First of all, try to go to file > library and select Update library iCloud music and let the match you scan library. If this does not resolve the problem, remove the beaches full of your library, then readd to your back ups.

Select settings > iTunes and App Store.

    Tap on your Apple ID.

Click on View Apple ID. If you are prompted, enter your password.

Highlight the iTunes in the cloud section.

    Turn off iTunes game renewal.

  • I thought that iTunes game came with my subscription to Apple music - why me is she charged $25 one another for her?

I was just charged $24.99 for an annual subscription to Match iTunes... Has not been included subscription in my your music Apple at $10.00 per month?

    / t

N ° Match iTunes and Apple's music are 2 different services.

Apple music includes a service similar to iTunes game, but not iTunes game.

Will Apple's music on its own, match and download your music on Apple servers and make it available online to all devices that support it. But its completely independent of iTunes game.

If you have subscribed to iTunes game will charge you for it, regardless of Apple's music.

  • I can play most of the radio stations on my iPad or iPhone without joining Apple music. Is this for real?

I used to be able to listen to different radio stations on my desk and my devices, now when I try, I keep getting asked to join Apple music. It's really unfortunate if you now join, because quite simply, it does not work for the lifestyle of each. I am a runner and a love downloading songs in the selections for the races, but with Apple music, the songs will not play on my iPod if I'm running... because not WiFi. So it is not simply to give meaning to join. really kind of *.

Yes, it's true. You can always put the music on your iPod. Try to Radium from the App Store or Radium 3.1.3 of MacUpdate. *

This site has both free and paid members accounts. If you don't have then some software will be distributed in a wrapper for an installation that includes adware/malware, you can not. • I signed up for Apple music and since then I can't synchronize playlists from my computer to my phone because it says I have iTunes game turned on, but I do not subscribe to iTunes recently Match (ish). How to make this stop?

I signed up for Apple music and since then I can't synchronize playlists from my computer to my phone because it says I have iTunes game turned on, but I do not subscribe to iTunes recently Match (ish). How to make this stop?

    Hello

You cannot synchronize in usb or wifi if you subscribe to the Apple's music. The basic principle of the AM is that your iTunes library is scanned to determine what can be matched or must be downloaded. Once completed, all the music you will be available to listen to or download on your iOS device.

  • Can you get Apple music on old apple tv without antenna gen?

I'm really cheesed off on uninstalling iTunes Radio from the older generation AppleTV.  I hope someone can tell me what I'm missing, but it seems that the only option to use your subscription to Apple's music with a 3rd generation Apple TV now is to Airplay of another device.  I tried to create a playlist on my Mac which included music I've owned and music from Apple and the only titles in the playlist when I access it from the Apple TV are the ones I own, so I can't yet create a playlist with Apple music in there and read it.  So to "access your music on any device.  I think that really means "access your music on any device that is less than 1 year old"!

Bottom line, my subscription to Apple's music has less value for me now.  I'm All in on the ecosystem of Apple, but I shouldn't use Airplay to get my Apple music on television.  If I want to do this, I use Pandora and not pay for nothing.

I know I could buy a new Apple TV and an Apple music app, but I feel like I should have.  Apple should make an application Apple music for 3rd generation, Apple TV, IMO.

Am I missing something?  Is there another way I can use my subscription of Apple's music on a 3rd generation Apple TV that I'm missing?

    Thank you!

I'm really impressed by this movement. It worked very well in December and then everything disappeared. I thought he would come back after I signed up for the Apple's music, but the radio link is still missing music on Apple TV 3 rd GEN WTH Apple.

  • Apple music I can't search for artist or songs he will list them but when I select one the screen turns white without loading occurs as usual

in music search function Apple does not list the possible options to select the artist, songs ect. When I select an artist turns off the screen instead of saying loading

I had this problem on my iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.2.1 but I was able to fix it by resetting 'All settings', and then restart the phone. The search for 'Any Apple music' works perfectly now.
