Applet on Weblogic 12.1.3

Hello

Name of magical value ClassFormatError: Incompatible 1013478509 in the class of the file client/Applet2 when you run the applet on Weblogic 12.1.3.

We opened SR for weblogic, but they told us that it is not question of weblogic, it is because of Java.

Team Java told us that Java is free and they do not help to free products.

As you can see, ATT, even applet runs with weblogic 10.3.6 IE11 and Java 1.8 day 60.

Where is the problem, Java and Weblogic?

It's very strange that we have cautioned that s applet not signed with 12.1.3 Weblogic and Weblogic 10.3.6 everything works fine.

Hopefully someone can help us.

While the RMI can certainly work on SSL (http://download.oracle.com/javase/1.4.2/docs/guide/rmi/socketfactory/SSLInfo.html), and since SSL includes the possibility of AutClient, logically can RMI run on client authenticated SSL. However, as with all things in technology, until you have verified this, take all suggestions with a grain of salt: this can work only with a Java application and not a Java applet (because of the restrictions of security around applets) very well.

  • Active Directory roles are not listed in the Applets Admin-> role permissions

    Hi all

I've set up an ActiveDirectoryProvider in Weblogic and we are able to connect COE successfully with a user of the AD.

After logging in to the CMC, I see all the roles to come from the pub when I clicked on the username in the upper right. It is ok.

But I'm unable to change the permissions in the Applets Admin because the same roles do not appear in the applet.

    What's not here?

Looking for your answers. Thank you very much.

After logging in to the CMC, I see all the roles to come from the pub when I clicked on the username in the upper right. It is ok.

But I'm unable to change the permissions in the Applets Admin because the same roles do not appear in the applet.

The roles that you deploy any external identity store as AD, LDAP will not be added to the admin applets by itself since there is the standard that should be set manually (or the default). These roles will be visible only to users who are assigned to them and if you are looking for to handle them then either use identification information cards (which would be the easiest option) to map external roles to the existing applet or manually create the same name roles in admin applet.

  • Java Applet constantly asked for authentication

With having an application of ADF on Weblogic 10, with occasional access to a Java applet. The Java applet is loaded whenever this is necessary and not charge whenever it is not in a facet. The applet is currently in the folder public_html/applet.

When we define the SSL configuration to require a client certificate when the Java applet loading, it will constantly ask a client certificate even if the user has already presented to the client by hitting the site:

Identification of the required authentication request. Select the certificate to use for authentication.

It's annoying for users and the Java Applet requires no authentication. Is it possible that we can disable authentication or remove the prompt?

    Here's the code included:

    <applet height="1" width="1" code="applet.Applet.class"archive="/app/applet/SApplet.jar" /><param name="permissions" value="all-permissions"/></applet>

    Things I've tried:

    (1) configure the Applet on HTTP instead of HTTPS; I get a warning about mixed content and still get authentication pop up.

    (2) created a small applet that only types "HELLO World" in the console, still get authentication pop up

  • Class not found error in JDeveloper with Applet

    HI gentlemen,

I need to set up an applet for my project using JDeveloper. I created an ADF application with model and display projects, where the model has a very simple Applet and an HTML page to call him. All is located in... \mywork\... using only default JDeveloper. The applet has only a text field with content predefined HELLO, "I am the applet!" just to see that it works. Now, when I run the HTML target execution against the applet viewer page, it's OK. However, when I start on the Weblogic Server, the console Java next results:

Download and reinstall Firefox version 32 has not solved the problem.

I am running Windows XP Pro 32-bit (fully patched) on a dual core Intel CPU with 4 GB of RAM.

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables certain parameters, disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

    • In previous versions of Firefox, click on the Firefox button in the upper left of the Firefox window and click help (or click on help in the Menu bar, if you do not have a Firefox button) and click on restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.
