Application manager refuses to install

Hello

I'm having a problem with the Application Manager (AAM). A few days ago, I did an automatic update of the hearing, but the progress are stuck at around 50 percent. A few minutes later the computer totally crashed and restarted Windows 7 was to fix the entire disk. To my surprise I had to discover that the MAO himself removed from my hard drive. I mean, it's gone and the alias icons were empty.

As suggested in the help I downloaded 6.2 MAO, but he refuses to install. Also, I can not uninstall applications creative Cloud for a new installation, because this action requires the MAO who can not be installed. Is the loop of a devil. The guy from the cat help Adobe advised me to download the new 6.2 AAM and install it. It's really funny, because I told him twice that this is not possible. In addition, he refused to help me, because my OS is not in English.

Any suggestions? I'm really grateful for any help! Thank you very much in advance.

-T.

EDIT:

I was able to fix this on my own. Really took my some time and tricks...

Sorry for the confusion. The issue * fixed * and I was able to fix it myself. I just wanted to mention that the cleaning tool was not really a help to me, because he didn't clear so many applications. Now everything is running again.

The problem seems to come from the Application Manager does not and work.

    Hi ejemas42,

    Please follow the steps below:

    • Please check if you have installed browser security extensions, please disable them. (For example: AD BLOCK, Advisor to Mcafee website, toolbar of internet security etc.)
    • Disable the firewall of your machine, see OS x: about the application firewall - Apple supportWindows Firewall enable or disable - Windows help -
    • Turn off the firewall of the security program installed on the computer Internet.
    • In Mac: Go to: Apple icon > system preferences > Security & Privacy > General > "allow applications downloaded on" change this anywhere (to make these changes click the padlock in the corner at the bottom left of this window and enter your computer password)

Most of the time, its a problem with the download was not successful or downloaded correctly. So, in this case, re-download the software and do not forget to compare the file size of the file downloaded with the file on the server.  Download Creative Suite 6 applications

Allows you to check in this case as well and make sure that the download is complete, if the size of the file is correct, to the install.log file.

Navigate in the log files in one of the following folder:

    Mac OS: / Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers /.

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Installers\

The name of the log file includes the name of the product and installation date, followed of ".". log.gz."the .gz extension indicates a compressed format.

You can use WIN RAR to extract the 7z or gz file:

    WINDOWS: http://www.rarlab.com/rar/winrar-x64-531.exe

MAC: WinRAR download and support: post-Télécharger

Once unzipped, the log file is a text file, open the .log using TextEdit (Mac OS) and notebook (OS Win)

Scroll to the bottom of the log. Look in the section - summary - for lines that begin with ERROR or FATAL and signals a failure during the installation process.

Copy and paste this section SUMMARIZED here so that we can check for errors. Alternatively, you can analyze the logs yourself. http://helpx.Adobe.com/Creative-Suite/KB/troubleshoot-install-logs-CS5-CS5.html

  • CC Adobe Application Manager fails to install...

I just bought Adobe CC (I am a current owner of the CS6 Production Premium) and login with my ID Adobe, has attempted to download Adobe Photoshop CC and got the following error message:

    Adobe Application Manager

    We encountered the following problems:

    Adobe Application Manager cannot install.

My system is Windows7 64 bit.  I looked through my Windows7 the event logs and don't show them that NO errors.

I tried to contact "live chat", but I seem to be on infinite 'hold' with estimated waiting who goes from 23 minutes to 22 minutes to 23 minutes to 22 minutes (did it for 50 minutes today) - I guess that a LOT of people have problems with CC.

I must say, my 'introduction' to Adobe Creative Cloud certainly was NOT a good.  If I can't get a solution soon, I'll just get a refund on my subscription of the CC and get other software "creative".  Not a happy customer.  I suspected that this subscription CC approach would be problematic, and it is!

  • Application manager is NOT installed.

I tried several times to install the Application Manager, so I can download Photoshop...  Each time, about 2/3 of the way in the download, it sends a message that says that the program I'm trying to install is "false", then it asks if I want to continue.  If I say YES or no... It stops just at this moment.

How can I get this Application Manager to install?  I understand that must be installed before Photoshop can.

    Download again using another browser.

    Re: updates for CS5 install February 4, 2011 06:54

    Try if this helps-

Double-click on it to launch the "Terminal" application (/ Applications/Utilities/Terminal)

Copy paste the following command and press the 'return' key to execute the command. Enter the password when prompted and press 'return '. This will launch the updater in elevated mode and can allow you to run the updates as well.

  • Adobe Application Manager will not install anything!

I tried to update Photoshop CS5 12.0.4 and Adobe Application Manager (AAM) keeps asking me my system admin password.  Whenever I go there, the window opens again.  I could enter my password, a dozen times, it will not start the updates or installations.

    I tried:

    • stopping and restarting
    • changing my admin password
    • install a non Adobe software (to see if it was a problem of OS X)
    • uninstalling all my software Adobe (same problem trying to install)

I would really like to be able to update my software.  Someone knows what to do?

  • CC Adobe Application Manager does not install / launch

I was getting an error message on my application manager when you try to update. I fixed that on my iMac by uninstalling it and then put it back.

So I tried the same thing on my MacBook, but now it seems to have messed up things. Installation * appeared * to succeed in the sense that the completed progress bar (I tried 3 times) but I have not received any notification at the end and the app is a not run by itself.

Also, I can't find the icon of the application anywhere, and if I look into the applications folder, all I get is this dubious group of files / folders and nothing for the launch (see below)

Does anyone else have this problem?
