  What is the best way to implement a standard provision in the entire application?  For example, I am converting a site HTML/ColdFusion to Flex and I have to keep the look of the current site in the new Flex application.  I need to a standard layout on every screen in the new application with a standard header, footer and the bar left navigation.  Do I need to add this code to each screen in the application, or can I just create the page layout file and challenging each screen?  Thank you!

• When you use print selection in Firefox 12.0, it prints whenever the selection is on the page (on paper) instead to the top of the page (in paper).

  When you try to use the print selection, printing starts in the location it starts as on the web page. For example, if it is down half way down the webpage, it starts halfway to print on printer paper. Then continue to another document. This only happens in Firefox, not other browsers.   Yes, the functionality of the print selection was twisted several times in recent versions. It was very broken in Firefox 11 and the fix has exacerbated the problem of the position of the selection moves to the top of the page (which has a long history, but is worse now).

  Workarounds

  I agree that the add-on Print Edit, which allows very fine control of the elements on the page, is not the best solution for this problem, because you often click on number of items for the same selection.

  Make sure what you want.  A fixed div is not centered because it is positioned exactly where tell you it to sit in your CSS - Albums | bottom | left | right.  Fixed positioning also removes such content from the normal document flow and effects it's z-index (aka stacking order).

  When you use the fixed navigation, it is often better to give it the full width page or 100%.

  MrJW gave you a good work around in Live View mode.  But honestly, when I work with the reagents long pages, I saw in the browsers and keep them open while I do a few code tweaks.  Then refresh browser (F5 or Ctrl + R) to check my progress.  I almost never work without one or several browsers open at all times.

  Right click > inspect element is another feature of good browser to use.

  If you have Firefox with the Web Developer Toolbar extension, you can use Resize > sensitive view layouts to see the appearance of your page (s) on multiple devices.  This is a handy feature.

  In addition, you can edit the CSS in real-time to see how it effects your work and lots of other good things.

  I highly recommend the FF Web Developer Toolbar.  It's free. I use mine constantly.

• On two pc's, 1 Wired kb & maus, 1 wireless, they had to keep - right click on the page - to keep the text page & scroll operation. Difficulty?

  Have two Dell optiplex home computers. The two same operating system windows 7. Use a wired keyboard and mouse and the other wireless.
  On Web pages only using the same browser firefox on both pc, keyboard entry text constantly updated in a dialog box like this one and to use the scrolling of the mouse or the keyboard, the mouse has to right click on the page to reactivate the scrolling or entering text.
  This most often happens on web pages than others, and the problem is the same on both PCs. Used to access the internet wireless modem.

  The result is very encouraging to do exactly what is suggested.

  I've had the mode without failure for an hour now and there is no re-emergence of the issue of page web text of scrolling/entry so far. I'm now working my way through the process of elimination and will do the same for the other pc and report today come back later.

  I have google as my default homepage on my Mac. This morning when I opened Firefox Google home page fills the entire page, there is no menu or toolbar at the top of the page. I tried to click on F11 but it fills just the search bar with an f. I tried right clicking and clicking on 'ESC' but which does nothing. I tried to screw up my version of Firefox and download a new version, but when I opened it, it opened to the Google home page and there's still once a menu or toolbar. I did not restart my computer once I downloaded the new version of Firefox. I'll try that right now.

  On Mac, command + shift + f should also switch between normal view and full screen.

  Another method that may work is to drag the pointer of the mouse completely to the top of the screen. If the tab slides to the bottom bar, you can right click (Ctrl + click?) an empty area of the top (or right click on the button '+') and you should get a context menu runs with the option for Mode full-screen output.
