  I got help from the sky, and the solution is to go to the messages folder in your BB and delete the messages from there. I thought I had turned off so have reported this as a bug as possible the integration of the message lists.

  There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) application memory, the device memory) 2 and 3) Media/SD Card Memory.

  Application memory - it is the most important; It is protected (not available to the user), dedicated and fixed (size: 512 MB in your case) space that is available to the House of the OS itself, as the destination for the installation of applications (more a few storage applications, overhead and other costs). You can't touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can install only here... There is no other choice.

  The device memory - it is space on your BB you can touch these files, images, media, etc. In general, it is not very big, but it is available.

  Memory card SD/Media- is what it says... your SD card to store files, media, photos, etc.. It can be as large as your BB OS can support... see this KB:

  On some devices/OS levels, you can see 'Free file' (Options > status), I think this is equivalent to AppMemory. You can see on other devices, all the memory usage levels three (Options > memory). Here are some tips to use:

  Finally, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. On the contrary, to close an application, tap on and select 'Close' or 'Quit'... which force the application to be closed, freeing resources for your new use it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy. Some have taken to do this on a regular basis as a preventive measure... some as often as once a day. Others got the app QuickPull to automate a simulated Batt Pull.

  A little sparse on the details... "they don't work" could mean that they launch, they communicate, or a myriad of other possible symptoms. Accurate description of what you're trying and that happens helps us not to guess.

  But, since you have left to guess, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

  (2) remove and return Service directories

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

  (3) restart to take batt

  Found nothing on the net to solve my problem - hope that is not new on this forum!  I have always good connection wi - fi and 3g via the web browser.  However, at the same time, a number of apps for example App World, Sky News, Accuweather etc - that is, I guess that virtually any application requiring access network - don't report "data connection".  Hard reset usually restores this functionality (at home, at work, wherever) until I'm TSF phone in another mobile cell (i.e. the geographical area) - a summer only relatively short distance of my office in the city...  Then it's the same question 'no connection '.  So it seems to be a constant association at the end of the cell - as-TI-a - 'regisered.  I checked all the recommended checks and run several resolutions without result.  I have updated to the most recent Blackberry everything.  Before that I discharge my Blackberry in the last sale of thought start I'd have one last go.

  If, by 'apps', you mean these natively included in OS package, while it's complicated... There are a variety of basic applications, but each company is free to "Pack" the package of core OS with their network-specific things or they chose to push their customers.

  If, by 'apps', you hear the module and 3rd party applications that the user chooses to download, then there are a variety of resources:

  My applications are not open on Blackberry Bold 9780 after their download of Blackberry App World.  They complete the download, they are free applications.  When I press the button to open the application, it does absolutely NOTHING.  I don't know what else to do, so I have remove off the 9780.  Please help me! -Jennifer

  Let me to this Counsellor... Once you have downloaded an app from AppWorld, even if you are not invited to do, once the app is installed, make a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  I get the, msg "no additional applications designed for your device not found" when trying to install new software via my Desktop Manager. I read a thread that says I have to install BlackBerry software for the current device.   It seemed to work for the individual with the question.

  Well, I would like to download the software for mine, but my carrier/provider don't showup on the BlackBerry site.  My carrier is AlaskaDigitel.  Is there some generic download that I could use?  My Office Manager can show what software is installed on my device, like Google Maps, etc.. He simply refuses to install the software. The things I installed were facilities OTA.

  Yes, that's the problem.  You need the OS installed on the computer (so it will show in the tab of the device software) in order to get rid of this error.  You can use any OS for your device model, regardless of the carrier.

  Use the link below to find a carrier CDMA which offers the 8130 and has a download for 4.3.0.127.  Download it, install it on your computer.  Then go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."  This file prevents the installation of your device carrier operating systems.  Deleting the file will allow DM recognize as valid for your device.  It does nothing else, so it is safe to delete.  Once you have deleted the vendor.xml file reconnect the device to the PC and launch the Desktop Manager/Application Loader.  You should be good to go.

  Press once on BB and chose the application switch, if that does not work then

  Try a battery pull if you please, with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot the device. This will clear all hide as restarting a PC. Then try again and see if the problem persists.

  I noticed that the charger tilts an English Dictionary / Chinese from a company called Microhill as being installed.

  I found that making your way is not always delete all applications 3rd party for any reason any! The operating system clean install works fine using Desktop Manager.

  You can try deleting the app Options > Advanced Options > Applications, select the application, press the menu/blackberry and 'delete '. Databases have nothing to do with the apps, so it shouldn't affect the installation or remove the application.   First, you go to manage connections and make sure that the name of your network service provider is enabled.  (Yes, I know that you already have, but we must make sure that you have not missed something... that's how we roll here.)  Then go into the Mobile Network Options and make sure that data Services is defined on it.  Some applications will accept connections via WiFi, most of the others won't accept a network connection or both.  I know for a fact that the groupon will allow both.

  I have a working Bold 9700 and it is connected to the corporate network. It has been implemented by our IT Department. I was delivered he no charger so use a lead to my laptop.   I sorted this out after reading the forum. I decided the STINKS device Mac Manager and so borrowed a PC. The Manager of OS and devices, and that allowed me to reinstall all applications downloaded. All works now. Always on my Mac it does not correctly connect updates.

  I just got a new blackberry tour and I'm having a heck of a travel time of new applications I downloaded my homepage. I downloaded three apps and managed to move to the homepage without problem by clicking the blackberry button and selecting 'move to the House. It is very clear and I understand the concept.

  But for some reason I can't move all the other apps. I can't move my facebook application because there is no option for "move to home page" or "move". Pandora and all these applications are found in my world in the app world Black Berry.
