• Update of applications using Desktop Manager

  Hi, I can't update my application via the Desktop Manager.

  I downloaded the first version of my application successfully on my Blackberry Curve 8520, but whenever I try to update the app it works than the first version.

  I've updated the version number of the app in the xml descriptor (using Eclipse plugin 1.3.0).) Then, I went the Application in the Desktop Manager (version 5.0.1) and accessed loader to my files .alx file, making sure that the updated file. The version number for my application in the application selection window is correlated with the version number, that I gave in the descriptor file.

  I click on 'Next' and then 'Finish' but the app is never updated on the device! I tried to remove the app, creating a new version number and then download again, but still the device only works the first version.

  Am I missing something? Help, please!

  JavaLoader is included in the plugin folder.

  its use is:

  load Javaloader u wpassword - Filename.cod

  (w is the setting of the password, if you don't have a password on the device or want to enter during the loading, you can omit it)

  You can also load the jad (sometimes less), it loads the cod automatically then.  This brings additional information in the list of devices of app.

  I turned on my PC only to find out that there was a problem. As usual, I entered my password to connect to my user account. I tried to run "purposelss" desktop application. No, I couldn't access it. When I try to launch an application from the start screen, the start over refreshes and screen binks as if I pressed my Start button. The same thing happens with any other application. I can't access anything anyone at all. I can't turn off my PC. Help out me.

  If you ask these two questions, no, I did no changes to my PC or I got an error code.

  Try the following:

  (1) reset store Cache - Windows key + R, type wsreset.exe, enter

  (2) sync your App store Licensing charms, updated settings APP, sync Licenses

  If the problem persists, run the following commands from a command prompt (Admin)

  (1) sfc/scannow reboot once completed.

  (2) dism.exe/Online/cleanup-image /scanhealth

  (3) dism.exe / online/cleanup-image /restorehealth Reboot and try Apps, if still the problem persists restart sfc / scannow and restart and check if it is resolved.

• Why is my creative application Cloud Desktop (OSX) not letting me download the latest applications?

  My desktop application Adobe CC not even says there are new versions of Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) applications when I know that they have been released.

  What I tried:
  • Signed out and in my Adobe account

  • Uninstalled the application of CC desktop and reinstalled.

  • Each application 'later' (PS, I, ID) downloaded from the Adobe site, but the soft cc adobe launches and installs older versions.

  UPDATE *.

  @Highdeny

  The procedure described in these two positions has worked for me. I would recommend after them in the following order:

  1) use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems

  (2) Office CC lists the applications as "up to date" when it is not installed

  I tried to uninstall everything before my original post, but I uninstalled the app CC the second time that I uninstalled it directly since uninstalling programs before using the "cleaner" (see #1).

  I also removed all Adobe my system (preference files, etc.). Who could be exaggerated, but I was so frustrated at that time here, I didn't like.

• No updates allowed in all of my Adobe CC 2015 applications in desktop application Adobe CC 2015 too.

  I have 2 licenses of materials (out of a total of 3 purchased by my University) on full Adobe CC2015.

  Looking in your forums on an audio problem in first CC2015, I noticed that the resolution is updated from version 9.0.0 to 9.0.1 or better at the last 9.0.2.

  The problem is that it is impossible to update the applications manually if the button update is not present and is not in Adobe CC2015 Desktop App.

  In the "help" menu in applications I opened subsequently, the "Update" option is disabled (gray).

  Adobe CC2015 Desktop App is updated (last update of this morning).

  I tried to uninstall and reinstall Premiere Pro in Adobe CC2015 Desktop App, but the version is still version 9.0.0.

  Why I can't spend tha Apps normally?

  What can I do to solve the problem?

  Well, you will need to contact your administrator and ask them to create an update package, and then run it on your computer to update the applications.

• Application of desktop load time improvement?

  I'm new to CC and so far found it very frustrating. I downloaded the desktop app and now trying to download specific applications, I need to use. However, so far the download on this is absolutely horrible time. I waited over two hours for only Illustrator to download, and it is currently at a 26% jump. Is there anything that can be done to speed up? I would like to actually use these programs before a month of 'use' is in place...

  HashiKoz you are on a managed network?  Your firewall software is possibly interfere with the download?  You can use the information in error when downloading applications Cloud Creative - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-downloading-cc-apps.html to run a traceroute on the used download path.  You may report this information to your Internet service provider.

  If it does not, in the same Adobe folder where OOBE is, there is another one called AAMupdater. Delete too and then restart the desktop creative cloud application.

• Deploy my Application via Desktop download instead of OTA

  I know how to deploy and have people download my app OTA but what files do I need for clients to download onto their desktop computer and then install via Blackberry Desktop Manager (why some people want to do this is beyond me...).

  Should I just the main .cod file (which is in fact a zip file with several inside .cod files) and the files .alx file?  So, if it is a download I would provide a zip like this? :

  MyCoolNewApp.zip

  • MyCoolNewApp.cod (again, cod the JDE based... which is more .cod files in one)
  • MyCoolNewApp.alx

  After using windows 8 for some time and just become familiar with my lap top has started promoting update me windows 8.1 I did. He got to halfway through the update failed.  A pop up message that my computer will reboot when it has finally done I had to create a new user as egone account all the tverything that was on my computer is now disappeared from windows desktop is Islands and apps are word disappeared from windows of the program excel outlook ECt are all deleted.  I first tried to contact microsoft last night 9/12 14 after a long time on hold I got to a telephone switchboard finally after an hour to be spent on I got to a person called Sheena p who accessed my computer remotely to fix the problem after that several attempts to try to untangle the issues it has had problems as it were quite well refused to listen to what I explained.

  He decides so after hour or more that this too is a problem for him and I need help of level 2 and it would organize a call back for today 10/12/14.  Soon after the end of the call, I received another call from microsoft, explaining that the Office of the United Kingdom farm at 7 and I would like to be contacted at 18:00.  After leaving work earlier to be home to this call and in the meantime and until it became obvious that no one was going to get in touch.

  So I contacted once again microsoft got passed from one person to another, so that all operators attempted to pass the problem on to another Department, eventually after about 45 minutes, it is call that I am someone in the phillapines that even once, pretty much couldn't or wouldn't understand the problem told me it could not be anything else other than a virus no matter how much times I explained the problem that she seemed unable to depart from it on the screen guests as she just constantly repeated the same vein times she said microsoft is paying and that she would not do anything until I paid $ 99, I think that it is and violates since I had already spent enough money buy microsoft software that has now been removed and a microsoft program.  Then she just transferred back me to the very first options menu so I wasn't on hold or in any that just left to start all over again. I finished the call to seek an alternative.

  can someone sign affect me? I have a laptop restored to factory settings, no files, folders, pictures or software because I have updated windows 8 from their guest.

  It would be impossible for the .old and the user folder to disappear, unless someone went to PC settings and clicked on the "Reset PC" option.  Other than that, the only way for those missing is to be booted from a CD or USB and do a new installation instead of the update to the App Store.

  Regardless of how, however, at this stage there is no much I can suggest.  Install your favourite again and get your files from OneDrive or backup everything you use.

  I have a similar but different problem.

  My copy of InCopy CC 2014 would start is no longer as he said, that the application was not complete, if something had occurred with the installed directory.

  I ran the installer for InCopy CC 2014 UN and then deleted the folder (maybe I should not have done this).

  Now when I go on my creative cloud and the previous version has chosen, neither the CC2014 nor the CC show for InCopy version.

  I assumed that the local database is involved somehow. How can I solve?

• BlackBerry Smartphones Menu button not working/no applications on desktop

  OK, I feel really stupid.  I've been messing around with my new BB, and I did something to make sure I can't get the menu I had before come back.  At this point, I don't know even how I managed to do it, but now when I turn on my phone, there is no icons on this subject either.  I realized that if I hit the Alt + ESC keys, I can bring up a bar with a few icons.  But not all of them.   If I hit the Menu button, nothing happens.  Anyone know how I can get it back to work?

  At this point, I'm so confused, I don't know what to do! Normally, I'm pretty good with electronics, but I can't in the menu options, so I am quite confused.

  No, they're all here. Just the icons. I ended up taking it to a Verizon Wireless store and they gave me a new. They said they had never seen anything like this before.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Desktop Software: "a newer version of this application is already installed on this computer."

  Hi, I am having a very frustrating problem and I can't seem to find any information or help.

  Running Windows 7 x 64, I had to update my blackberry a few weeks ago desktop software. Unfortunately, the update crashed during the update. I tried the update again, but Setup now stops at the message:

  

  However, there is no trace of any application of Desktop software on my computer. I tried to manually remove all RIM/Blackberry folders as well as the removal of all keys to register RIM/Blackberry. I tried to use Revo unistaller, several of the registry cleaners, all with no success.

  Now, I have to use Blackberry Destkop Manager 5. XX since I can't install anything higher than that. It gets really frustrating (that and the fact I had to Exchange my Bold 9900 for the 7th time in less than 6 months - and the one I use now has a * beep * ty button which doesn't always work) and extremely boring.

  Whatever Sdgardne, layout of computers is not a solution. It is:

  Download and install jv16 Powertools of http://www.321download.com/LastFreeware/index.html. Launch the software, on the Uninstall tab, find the entry of Blackberry 7.0 now visible. Select this entry, and then uninstall it. In addition, check the other tabs to erase any trace of remaining registry Rim or Blackberry. Download and reinstall Blackberry Desktop Manager 7.0.
