  Joanne, please remove your current installation of Photoshop Lightroom by using the uninstall program located in the/Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.

  You will then want to download Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1 of Adobe - Lightroom: for Macintosh.  The update contains the entire application.  Photoshop Lightroom cannot be installed through the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application and still be allowed with a serial number.

• iBook randomly started playing when the phone is turned off

  Just noticed this with the upgrade to iOS9. The phone is off (i.e., black screen, but still able to receive phone calls or be activated with PW or digital), and iBooks starts reading my audio book. We then see the iBook controls in the lock screen. No one touched the iPhone 6.

  Does anyone else have this problem? Suggestions to prevent it from happening would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  Maybe it's not a specific question of iBook. My iPhone is not actively running - sometimes even just sitting on a table across the room to anyone - lights sometimes at random a random application without apparent reason. (This is especially awkward when he phones random random contacts!) Or, as you say, starts playing audio.)

  I don't know what causes it, and I didn't notice all the reasons for this behavior. I think if the phone was turned off in fact he wouldn't do this, but that sort of impact at the point of having a phone in the first place.

  If they do not show in the Applications, all is well. Facilities is a story of, well, facilities. If you have installed an application several times, or updated, it will also show several times. It is by design.

  Assuming that you are syncing contacts on your Android phone with your gmail account, you can just sync them down to the iPhone by adding your gmail account.

  Always download CS6 applications on the site of the CC? I had to wipe my hard drive iMac earlier this year and all reinstall to deal with a software problem. Even though I reinstalled the CC apps that I need, I lost all my CS6 versions. As I originally downloaded my apps CS6 from Adobe, I don't have the installation discs available. I do not have my records of CS5, but I rather have CS6 available if possible.

  Open your desktop cc app > apps > filters & releases > previous versions > click on install next to a program and a drop-down list appears, listing the cs6 version.

• Mail application: removing file stuck in the bookmarks bar

  I use preferred Mail bar quite often; It is filled with several folders that receive e-mail messages based on rules.

  However, there is a folder that I can simply remove by click/drag. The cloud of smoke comes, but this issue remains in the bar.

• GlowFilter removal of playing with the transparency of the graphics

  My problem is that I want to retain the transparency of a fill of graphics on a DisplayObject after applying a filter. If I shoot, say a rectangle, with graphic of a Sprite and by, specify a transparency:

  Then apply a filter for the Sprite:

  The IMP, PSB, has the filter behind it, such that, if the Sprite was opaque, the edges seem to glow. However, with this 0.5 alpha in the graphics, I can now see through the Sprite and what is immediately behind the filter itself, not the stage. In other words, the GlowFilter is not only applied on the edges of the Sprite, but for the whole Sprite.
  
  It is the same with DropShadowFilter, I still have to test others.
  
  Did someone knows a way of purely in ActionScript to have only the edges to be affected by the filter, so I can still see through the Sprite? I know that I could just create an image file in Photoshop with appropriate filters and then import into the flash library, but I would like to do with ActionScript just if possible.

  My question is,

  Application Manger.schedule Application (Desciptor, time, true), starts the application on time, but if the phone is turned off during this planning period, the application is not laucnh when I turn on the phone after a calendar time.

  is it possible that I can do this? I have a CLDC application.

  with midlet, I can use the registry to push but not in CLDC application

  Y at - it any other way to set the application to autolauch at a specified time.

  There is no other solution for this if the phone is turned off at the scheduled time, until and unless that it point to another entry.

  I read a lot of posts that explain how to make an application to auto run when the phone starts, but none of them explained how whitout JDE or Eclipse plugin.

  IM coding my application using NetBeans (with a plugin for BB), and have nowhere to set a flag "auto start".  So, please, can someone tell me how I can tell my phone to launch my application to start without using the "Auto-run at startup" property of the JDE?

  HY, I recently bought a laptop vaio which is preloaded with windows 8 since I am new to windows 8, I'm having a problem with live tile of camera and photo app. I clicked on a few photos of the camera of my laptop and when I removed them from the photo app they were always playing on the live tile of the application but when I open the application there is no picture at all...  I met the same problem even with my windows phone(lumia_525).can someone help me why this is happening as I'm afraid if it's a bug or other type of problem.

  It just need time, the tile updates only on a set timer (to save battery power and performance).

  I think that you can force it to update by going to the start screen, striking to swipe from right (or pointing to the right), then by going to settings > tiles > erase personal information.

• Problem with the earpiece of the phone

  As you know, the BB is built around Applications.  You have two, an and in the foreground a background.  If you start a Thread in your treatment of background, it runs under the control of this request.  If the background of your Application stops, then this thread will disappear.

  Now, suppose your foreground (GUI) Application calls a method provided by the code your application to background.  Copy the following code starts a Thread.  This thread will run under the control of applications in the foreground, not the background application.  So if the background Application stops, this thread will continue to run.  Although code that started it was provided by the Application program.

  Extend this idea to the listener.  The listener is called by the phone app.  If you start a Thread, that Thread runs under the control of the phone Application.  If you do an Application.getApplication (), you will get the phone app.  Not your application.  It's dangerous.  For example, if your listener code or your thread called System.exit (), it will take the phone app.

  You need spend processing in your own Application to do this kind of things.  There are a number of approaches, but the simplest is to use a global event.  You get some information and raise an event in your listener (running under the control of the phone Application), your overall event handler (in your Application) takes control and happened in the information that you give, and it actually takes control of the thread of events, so if you have a UiApplication acting as listener GlobalEvent You can do things with the screen.  And they are not too difficult to use, as shown in this article:

  Have you tried a soft-reset/reboot the phone? If that is not free space you could try to download a little ibook on iTunes from your computer (or if you use a Mac updated iBooks application) and select Synchronize on the phone and see if that frees up space

• DROID X 2 keeps restarting (cannot use the phone)

  My Droid X 2 guard restarts and crashes again and again.
