  I'm trying to free up storage on my iPhone 6 more running iOS 9.3.1. Photos is empty. Recently deleted photos is empty. Photos is disabled in settings > icloud > photos. The rockers are disabled in the settings > photos and camera. But its still appearing as using 440 MB of storage in the photo library and 30.6 MB in shared photo streams.

  What kind of library are automatically using, iPhoto or Photos.  The package of photo library in your pictures folder will look like this:

  

  If it's the library that you handle the here's what you need to do to remove a photo from the library and the hard drive (it won't to the trash in the Dock like in iPhoto):

  Remove Photos from a library of Photos 1.5

  1. regardless where you are in the library, i.e. Moments, collections, albums, smart albums or projects, select the photos you want to remove, use the command + delete keyboard shortcut to move the photos to the recently deleted smart album.

  I have three different reasons to use Collections for a photoshoot:

  1. Collect the photos in order to work with them
  2. Synchronize photos from Lightroom Lightroom desktop application mobile and web apps

  I find the way the more convenient to have is a unique Collection for all these purposes, rather than having a separate Collection for each. Currently, it is not possible to select individual photos for synchronization (you must select the Collection to sync all) but you do not have the possibility to share only photos marked as peaks (and to allow the download). However, you have this option only on the Lightroom Web, not on the desktop and not on mobile.
