• Apply effects to the Source Clips?

  Hello!

  
  Forgive my ignorance, but I'm jumping in the first feet first with little prior experience.  I'm working on digital images of Super 8, but all I have is currently still in the negative form.  I am trying to apply some initial effects to see images properly (desaturation and reversal), but I can't seem to apply effects to the source items if they are not already in the timeline panel.  As you can probably understand, what makes abutment a difficult film.

  I used a copy of Final Cut Express earlier this evening, and which seemed commonality with the source clips (i.e. apply initial impact) pretty well.  First there the same functionality?  It is quite frustrating.

  That cannot be done in the first.

  Edit: just thinking a bit more about your dilemma.

  You can create an adjustment with the FX layer you want and edit in the timeline panel.

  Adjustment layer on your source footage of the layer on video 1 and Video 2.

• Apply effects to the source of the sphere of the CC?

  The title is pretty self-explanatory, I try to apply effects to a source that is used with CC sphere effect.

  The reason behind this is to try to remove the lines where the video repeats on the sphere, buy using large amounts of blur.

  I'm trying to recreate a spinning ball on the ground and figure that refraction of edge of the sphere can be made using blue effects and possibly another effect of distortion.

  Any ideas?

  Take the source CC sphere before you add the effect of sphere CC - precompose this source, add effects in the demo and then apply CC sphere to the demo in your model of the hand.

I had this problem since FF upgrade ver 13. Mozilla is going to solve this problem? I use Win XP. None of the answers to question solves the problem for me.

  the title says really all... can I apply a fast blur to a wipe transition to soften the edge of transition of the clip a clip b?

  Discover the transitional gradient wipe (not the wipe degraded into force - although it is possible to do the same thing). You create a gradient/image to grayscale to set the wipe, and according to the 'length' of the gradient, you can create a wipe smoothed.

  Another option would be to wipe linear video effects > transition; who built in the cursor the sweetness, if you need animate the transition and stack your clips on two tracks manually.

• In Adobe Muse - effects (drop shadow, etc.) are not wrokinng on the text, as it shows in the tutorials.

• Time warp effect removes the other effects (ex: Cineon converter)? AECS4

  I added my video TimeWarp to slow it down, and now it removes effects I applied to my video (Cineon converter in one). How can I solve this problem? Recently I updated my After Effects CS4 so I know its update.

  What do you mean by "deletes the other effects? Do you mean that the other effects disappear in the effect controls panel? Do you want to say that you just can't see the results of the effects in the Composition Panel?

  I'll assume you mean than the latter.

  The time warp effect works on the original layer, not on the result of the effects that precede it in the effect stack. To apply the time warp of a layer effect that has other already applied effects, precompose the layer with the other effects first.

• Script to remove all the images, text blocks, and the page numbers on a layer

  I have a 364 pages with 322 illustrations, photographs mainly, for offset printing.

  The photographs will be be overprinted with the varnish on a plate in the fifth, and I set it up as follows:

  On a new layer, (double layer 1) all photos are removed, but not their mounts.

  The frames are then filled with 100% black.

  All text blocks and page numbers must also be deleted.

  I realize I could have done this job easier if I put all the images on their own layer first, but unfortunately I do not have.

  And I don't do myself, script, so I was wondering if anyone has a script that will do...

• Eratic behavior: book, the main text blocks and Cross References

  I'm on InDesign 2014.2. Mac.

  I'm working on a fairly large book. About 14 chapters / sections, about 400 total pages. There are also hundreds of cross references, almost all of them to anchor references.

  The design of the book is as simple as possible. There is no graphics, text blocks only.

  I use a single master page, with facing pages, and a block of text type. I used it throughout the production of the book, and the primary text flow worked well, chapter after chapter. Pages have been created automatically, and automatically flowed text.

  Maybe I need to change the page size of the book, and I also have a lot of editing to do which will reduce a lot of the chapters. I wanted to make sure all pages use the main text flow to do that, go as gently as possible.

  To my dismay, I discovered that although I used systematically throughout the book master text streams, all but three of my chapters have inexplicably lost their text stream. All images in these chapters have converted into ordinary images. That I edit the book, it's playing havoc with paging and referrals.

  I tried to restore the flow of text in one of the first chapters. It's easy to do, in theory.

  • Move the first page off to the side frame
  • Delete all pages except the first page
  • Command-shift-click on the first page to restore the flow of the main text
  • Copy and paste the contents of the old frame into the primary stream restored.

  
  

  When I do, the pages to move properly, and I'm back to having a chapter with a block of primary text on each page. Unfortunately, this breaks all cross-references that refer to this newly reorganized chapter and all references to the front in this chapter.

  
  

  I tried to do all that I could imagine. Only remove the frames and not pages. Try without the busy book. Nothing works. I tried the command update cross-references in the book menu. Has nothing.

  
  

  It seems impossible to redistribute the text in a new primary master framework, without completely breaking the cross references.

  I finally found something that seems to work:

  • Create a new master page at the end of the document.
  • Go to the last page of the history of the chapter and the last history image a link to the text block type on the page that you just created.
  • In the pages palette, delete all pages in the document, with the exception of the master page that you created.

  All text will be redistributed within the frameworks of masters, and cross-references (to and from the frame) seem to be intact.

  I'm working on a video graphic animation and currently making some changes of fonts.  I added some effects to the police of one of my text layers.  If I want to keep these effects consistent whenever I have add a new text layer, is there a way to copy and paste attributes the effects to a layer to another?

  What kind of effects are you talking about?

  You can create a preset and apply this. Otherwise, you could just duplicate (Ctrl + D or CMD + D) any existing and any text layer just change the text and timing of each layer. Another solution is to copy the layer with links to property.

  I have the book, but this screenshot has been extremely help.

  The answer is...

  Like I said, the default Panel in the range of effects of applied effects/Applied / Motion and opacity.

  Once you apply fx effects Audio/Effects/Channel Volume effect to your audio clip, you will see the channel Volume Panel in the Palette of effects applied and the movement and opacity.

  I'll give you screenshots if necessary.

  Please try to prove guilt.

• BUG - in flash pro CC, "bold" and "italics" TextFormat properties have no effect on the rendered text

  Concise problem statement:

  If you compile with CC pro flash and use the method "setTextFormat' of a TextField, the 'fat' and 'italic' argument of TextFormat properties have no effect on the rendered text. If you compile with flash pro CS6, 'fat' and 'italic' properties work as expected.

  Apparently, the only way to make the text to display correctly with flash pro CC, is to change the name of the font (add the suffix "Bold", "Italic", or "Bold Italic".) This means code that dynamically changes the font styles only works in CS6 or CC, but not both. By example, if you use the "bold" text property makes daring in CS6 and regular CC, whereas if you change the name of the font to add the suffix "Bold", the text makes daring in CC and DOES NOT at all in CS6. It is therefore difficult for a team to CS6 in the CC of transition.

  Steps to reproduce the bug:

  1. create an xfl 2 TextFields on stage, as well with the font "Trebuchet MS" and "regular" style, a named boldTrueText that contains the string "" BOLD"= true", a named fontNameText that contains the string "fontName ="BOLD"Trebuchet MS". Create 2 more TextFields on the stage of Visual reference, both with a font "Trebuchet MS", one with the 'regular' style, one with ' bold '.

  2. Add the following code in the Actions Panel on frame 1:

  import flash.text.Font;

  var format: TextFormat = boldTrueText.getTextFormat ();

  format. Bold = true;

  With flash pro CC, "" BOLD"= true" makes "BOLD", and "fontName ="BOLD"Trebuchet MS" IS NOT RENDERED.

  With CC pro flash, what follows is drawn:

  If you do not break backward compatibility (to others), you can do both behaviors works in flash pro CC, as follows:

  With flash pro CC, "" BOLD"= true" makes "BOLD" (the police is always 'Trebuchet MS'), and "fontName ="BOLD"Trebuchet MS" also makes "BOLD".

  With CC pro flash, what follows is drawn:

  I introduced this bug with the form of bug and also with adobe bugbase (in case it is not obsolete) - I'm just trying to maximize my chances of getting a fix.  Has anyone else encountered this bug?

• out the anchor text block and copy its contents

  Hi all

  I have a script that will be able to anchor to InDesign text block and it works well. Now my problem is that I released that anchored text frames and then copy its contents the same position where the text block was at anchor.

  Here's what I do:

  1. find and block of text of a document (using the find object, anchored by its applied object style).

  2. release the anchored object found.

  3 copy its contents the same position where it was anchored.

  For 1 and 2 rep, I maybe able to do but point 3 I have no idea.

  Hope someone can lend me the time to solve this problem.

  My phone calls on my iPhone 5 c pass as text messages and the sound message is used and not the ringing of a phone call.

  Calls can only come in the form of text messages. Go to settings > sounds and make sure you have the right tone selected.
