Appts. schedule of blackBerry Smartphones

OK BB users-

I need help. I try to erase all the appts out of my calendar at the same time. Is this possible rather than enter each day and remove it?

Thank you!

Hello!  To delete all previous appointments, select a date then press the BB Menu key and select Remove beforehand.  To delete all appointments (future and past), the simplest is to connect your BB to your computer, open BlackBerry Desktop Manager and then go to backup and restore > advanced.  On the right window, you can scroll down until you see the Calendar database.  Highlight it, then click on 'Clear' at the bottom of this window.  That should erase completely any entries in your calendar.

I hope that helps!

  • Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones is exploded my Bold 9780

Hi, recently my calendar disappeared completely from my Bold 9780. I can't access it anywhere on my phone. At first, I thought it was just my icon that was deleted, but now I can't seem to find that anything that is related to my calendar at all on my phone. Use my upcoming events, that I posted in my calendar is displayed all the time in the same area as my messages, but now none are appearing. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thank you

Please check and see if the calendar application is always installed (it is a basic application and cannot be easily removed... but only in some cases):

    • KB10040 How to view or delete applications on a BlackBerry smartphone

Also remember that you control with a lot of attention to the calendar icon... Make sure that you look at each part of the home screen, as well as in each subfolder to the home screen... it is possible that you accidentally moved the icon. Also make sure you have "Show all" active you are looking for, make sure that the icon was accidentally hidden.

If not, have you installed anything since it last worked OK? A new theme perhaps? If Yes, try to remove that and see if your calendar resumes its normal operation.

In addition, is nothing happened between the time things were normal and this behavior started? A new application, updating, nothing else? Think carefully because the smallest thing could be causal... and maybe try to undo that.

In addition, I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see if you can access the calendar app. If so, then some 3rd party app interferes.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones not sync'ing to Outlook-send help

I've recently updated the Facebook app - I think that was the cause of this problem.

When I add a new appointment in the calendar, the screen new appointment shows "send to: Facebook"-so when I make the appointment, he is seemingly saved to a facebook profile - and is not updating my calendar to Outlook 07.

Try to use the menu option select Calendar, I am presented with only three options 1) show all calendars, Facebook) 2 and 3) an option giving my e-mail address.  I remember ever setting this up, so I don't know what option should I choose.  I tried all but no matter what I choose, a new appt calendar created on these two calendar options will not synchronize with outlook!  What's new?

    Data sheet:

    BlackBerry Curve 8310

    v4.5.0.110 (Platform 2.7.0.90)

I've been upgraded to 4.5 for quite awhile and everything worked very well - I don't think that its because of the update to facebook.  Any ideas or help to get back on track...

And then also, now I have a bunch of calendar appts on my BB, how do I steer them away from Facebook?  I think that there should be a calendar option "Outlook" in the choice of calendars - no?

    Thank you!!!

  • Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones do not remember / advising me

Good so I put in place the appointments or events I should be notified about midnight.  On my blackberry storm 9530, I incorporated someones birthday to a nomination for the all-day event sort of speak (you know as a reminder)

So I think that the standard default settings must remember 15 minutes prior to the event; However, it does not work.

To confirm what I have is that at 140 am I put in an appointment for 02:00; so I shouldve got a reminder to 145 (right? 15 minutes before the appt).  However I have not.

Now, I saw that if I go to my application to clock it appears as an alarm to be awakened at 2:00, also before that, I saw the icon on the home screen by real-time.

Hmmm okay, if you is it not supposed to remember 15 minutes earlier than expected only on "all the events of the day?  So, if I had a minor event I wouldve received the notification?

Is there anything else I need to adjust?

I tried to check the settings in the calendar and the clock, but have not found anything to fix my problem.

I am using 4.7 BlackBerry OS

Well I think that the problem is resolved.

First off I was put 'alarms' not 'appointments' then I had rebooted my cell phone before all the events of the day and 15 minutes before midnight it worked

    Then

    1 rebooted

    2 set alarms "no date."

    Its fixed. Thank you

    Hey alecors,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

    Thanks for the question.

You can delete the calendar from Facebook by going to Options > Advanced Options > service book and there will be a Facebook (CICAL) listed.  Highlight it and press Menu > delete.

Then the calendar is deleted and you can proceed with the recovery and let me know if the dates are always disabled.

    See you soon.

  • New schedule of blackBerry Smartphones PB 2.0

I have lilke the new calendar look and feel. It is also easier to handle.

However... All entries in my cal are still in my 'old' cal (upgraded) and they do not appear in the new cal.

Is it possible to transfer my 'old' cal entries to the new?

If this isn't the case, then this is a gaping hole!

I assume by "old calendar" you mean your BlackBerry calendar via the bridge? At the moment there is no way directly import from phone to the tablet. You must synchronize with something like Google Calendar, which will then sync the entries down to your tablet. You can download a google to m.google.com/sync sync and install on your phone. It syncs your calendar on your gmail account, and then you can add this account to your tablet.

  • Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones - how to stop embarrassing birthday notifications?

whenever I go to my notification bar to check a Facebook or text the full screen message is full of boring birthday notifications. I have checked/unchecked everything but they are constantly appearing.

How can I keep the calendar to post reviews?

You have any other appointments in calendar on your BlackBerry instead of birthday appointments?

    Otherwise:

Open BlackBerry Desktop Software, the connected BlackBerry

Go to device > clear data

Click any calendar and press DELETE.

This will remove all appointments in calendar on your BlackBerry.

  • Conflicts of schedule of blackBerry Smartphones

In addition to the actual appointments / meetings, I follow 'all day' events such as birthdays, holidays, etc. on my calendar.  Whenever I have the whole day on the calendar event, appointments appear in red.  Also, if I open the appointment, I see a message telling me that the appointment/meeting "between conflicts with another appointment on your calendar.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who uses their calendar to track all the events of the day and scheduled appointments.  Someone at - he found a way to work around this situation.  Is there another way to get into all the events of the day so that they appear on the calendar, but do not create conflicts with scheduled appointments?  I know that this causes no real problems, but I would have preferred that this not be "reported" as a conflict.

    Thank you

    Ron Bernier

One solution is to enter the birthday or anniversary in the rather than in the calendar, contact information and then it will show in the calendar.

  • Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones can not re - sync after "clear".

To try to solve the problem with my "Today" theme (where appts were not appearing on my home screen), I cleared my calendar from my device entries (they are safe, yet, on my Outlook/PC). However, now I can't return the entries from Outlook on my device. I tried to reconfigure my one-way with device two-way synchronization, but nothing works. Help?

    Outlook 2003

    Windows XP

-go to the connections Manager, turn off your radio

-Open opens, options, advanced service books

    -remove all CICAL entries

-Make sure that when you CLEAR you calendar in DTM, u deleted all calendar so

-remove the battery for 10 seconds

    -Reset sync settings

    -upward starting device

    -synchronization of the configuration

    -synchronization attempt

    -re - turn on radio

-Login into BIS account and resend your service books

  • Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones no resynchronization

Some entries of calendar Resync evertyime I synchronize my phone with outlook. For example, when I first synchronize the calendar entry could be changed in my outlook, I accept the change, then the next day, when I sync again for the second tiem the same input would change in my camera and it is just an endless loop until I have delete the entry.

For that I checked, the problem occurs when there is more than one attending the meeting (i.e. myself and a co-worker).

More, the conflict seems to be that my phone has registered me with a name (i.e. the name family name) and my outlook account has saved me with another name (i.e. first name first name last name).

I think that it would be resolved by changing either names, but my outlook account is a Microsoft Exchange business account, then then it's easier for me to change my name on my blackberry calendar.

For all the help on how to do this would be very welcome, because it is just your time that whenever I sync it resyncs all these entries that have people in them.

I had that happen to me earlier. In my case, it seemed it was of the order of the e-mail addresses in the contact on my BB for me (and the other person) records. I had to do my job to the first email address for me in my contacts.

You could see if it works for you. If it is in fact the name, the only thing I can think of is to change the name in your contact entry in your phone.

  • Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones: vs email calendar default device

I'm new to the Blackberry Pearl 8130.

I use Microsoft Outlook for my calendar. I have an email address to which I've implemented on the Blackberry. However, this email address doesn't have a calendar that are associated with (and I don't want it...). The calendar application has therefore all appointments under "Default device".

On the home screen, it shows not all appointments at all. However, when I go in the calendar app it shows all my appointments. I've selected the menu button, choose 'Select Calendar' and then choose "Default device" because the calendar is not associated with the email address.

When I go back to the home screen it still has nothing set appointments. I assume he's still associate the calendar with the email address. I do know that not everyone uses the calendar provided with e-mail addresses, right?

Also, when in the application calendar, after selecting "Default device", if I try to add an appointment he will add it to the calendar with the email address and not the "default device" calendar that I use with Outlook. If I need to open another post on this topic please let me know.

Thanks in advance for your help.

OK, here's what you need to do...

    1. download ALL your calendar in Outlook information. Make sure your correct calendar.

    2. then, basically, you will remove ALL your calendar on the BlackBerry information according to the instructions I'll post below.

    3. then, you set the address you want to see your calendar 'default' by the statement in the post above.

Then, everything should be good. I have been facing the problem while you are now and had to do all this as well. Painless.

(ignore the words 'AddressBook' in these instructions for you, but it all works the same).

If you encounter errors in your calendar or address book on your BlackBerry and you want to delete the entire address book (or calendar) base on your BlackBerry, follow the instructions below. Make sure that you have a good copy of your calendar or Contacts, because this procedure will delete all the calendar entries or entries from the address book on your BlackBerry.

    1. open the Desktop Manager on your PC.

    2. open Backup/Restore > advanced.

    3. in Advanced Options, you will see a split pane screen. Left pain is what happens to save on your device and the right is a list of the existing databases.

3 select right your address book database (or your Calendar database), and then click the arrow in the Middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information on and prepare it for the backup.

    4. once the backup is complete, click the button Clear down to erase, and then clean up the database of book full address (or calendar).

    5. once it is finished, it will ask you if you want to save the backup that you created, say you Yes and check the device to make sure that the address book (or calendar) has been duly cleared out. Now, Resync the necessary contact details and you should be set to go.

  • Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones keeps deleting past appointments

    Hello friends!

I noticed that my blackberry 8330 removes random latest appointments in my calendar and, sometimes, text messages.  I read pieces about how I can solve this problem, but can I get a global and coherent response as to how to fix it?  I don't want to ruin my baby! Thank you!

    Hello

Yes, it will be. As long as you watch your memory and keep beyond 15 MB, you'll be ready to go!

Please take a second and close the post, OK?

    Thank you
