Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones do not remember / advising me

Good so I put in place the appointments or events I should be notified about midnight.  On my blackberry storm 9530, I incorporated someones birthday to a nomination for the all-day event sort of speak (you know as a reminder)

So I think that the standard default settings must remember 15 minutes prior to the event; However, it does not work.

To confirm what I have is that at 140 am I put in an appointment for 02:00; so I shouldve got a reminder to 145 (right? 15 minutes before the appt).  However I have not.

Now, I saw that if I go to my application to clock it appears as an alarm to be awakened at 2:00, also before that, I saw the icon on the home screen by real-time.

Hmmm okay, if you is it not supposed to remember 15 minutes earlier than expected only on "all the events of the day?  So, if I had a minor event I wouldve received the notification?

Is there anything else I need to adjust?

I tried to check the settings in the calendar and the clock, but have not found anything to fix my problem.

I am using 4.7 BlackBerry OS

Well I think that the problem is resolved.

First off I was put 'alarms' not 'appointments' then I had rebooted my cell phone before all the events of the day and 15 minutes before midnight it worked

Then

1 rebooted

2 set alarms "no date."

Its fixed. Thank you

  • Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones is not sync

Can someone help me with my calendar sync? I have a BB storm running Office V 4.7.  Address book syncs fine, but once completed the addressbook, syncing everything ends.  I tried to delete the database, I tried to go to the setup on Sync to change the options for one or two lanes.  Nothing seems to work.  Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi and thanks for taking the time to help.

I ended up contact BB to my provider of wireless.  After about 2 hours, to go to all the possible steps, the Service Technician said it seems the calendar itself had somehow scratched the role of database.  While they have seen this behavior before, they do not know why this is happening.

The only solution was to wipe the unit clean after saving.  After the restoration of all, looks like I'm once more synchronize correctly.

    Thanks again for your contribution.

When I click on the calendar icon on the homepage it does not open, it crashes just the phone.  I am trying to delete all the entries in the calendar (in thousands of duplicates).  I have no idea what to do.  I did several battery grips and I went and checked the CPU usage (it's so slow) and found between the OS and the calendar they use, increased by 90%.

If you deskttop manager is installed on your computer, connect your phone and go to device > delete data > selected data > calendar (all) and delete... This should remove entries from your calendar completely and should fix this... If you restore a backup of your calendar, however, the problem will come back then you will need to put entries by hand sorry

  • Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones does not

    Hello

My calendar disappeared home screen is there a way to get it back or reinstall?

If I'm looking calendar on the device it is there but 'gray' compared to the other items he finds?

    Help, please!

Let's start by seeing if you have accidentally hidden there.

On your home screen, press the menu key (the BB button to the left of the trackpad).  If show all is offered as a choice, click on it.  It will display all the icons that are hidden.

Please report so which solves your problem.

  • Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones is exploded my Bold 9780

Hi, recently my calendar disappeared completely from my Bold 9780. I can't access it anywhere on my phone. At first, I thought it was just my icon that was deleted, but now I can't seem to find that anything that is related to my calendar at all on my phone. Use my upcoming events, that I posted in my calendar is displayed all the time in the same area as my messages, but now none are appearing. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thank you

    Brandon

Please check and see if the calendar application is always installed (it is a basic application and cannot be easily removed... but only in some cases):

    • KB10040 How to view or delete applications on a BlackBerry smartphone

Also remember that you control with a lot of attention to the calendar icon... Make sure that you look at each part of the home screen, as well as in each subfolder to the home screen... it is possible that you accidentally moved the icon. Also make sure you have "Show all" active you are looking for, make sure that the icon was accidentally hidden.

If not, have you installed anything since it last worked OK? A new theme perhaps? If Yes, try to remove that and see if your calendar resumes its normal operation.

In addition, is nothing happened between the time things were normal and this behavior started? A new application, updating, nothing else? Think carefully because the smallest thing could be causal... and maybe try to undo that.

In addition, I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see if you can access the calendar app. If so, then some 3rd party app interferes.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not connect BlackBerry Pearl 9105 for PC

    Hello world

    I have the following problem:

After using my BB Pearl 9105 for almost 3 years, I can not connect to PC more (I still menu with choice of 3 options on my smartphone when I connect, but when I click on that option "usb" or "charge", the menu appears again).

In addition, the PC does not recognize my smartphone as a usb device. Updated BlackBerry Desktop Software and the purchase of the new Micro-USB cable did not help.

    I can still load.

Could anyone suggest me how to solve this problem?

In addition, make sure you use only the root USB ports... without hubs (sometimes the front-end ports are hubs... use a rear USB port). And don't forget to try to disable the USB power management in the configuration of your system (Device Manager).

Check also on the incompatible software... it was reported that NTI Shadow Ninja & software can cause a conflict; Remove and reinstall the desktop software BB allows to install correctly.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not access Media card with BB Desktop or Media Sync 9700

The other day I received a Reburbed Bold 9700 update.

I use Ver 6 Deskstop OS and the 9700 is running device code latest version 5.

I have a Kingston 4 GB media card that I know is in place because the 9700 recognizes it and when I go to files and select the media card, I can see all the files on the card and when I take a picture it is written on the card so I know that memory is very good and he sees the 9700.

The problem I have is BB Deskstop or latest version of Media Sync to see so I can transfer files to and from my PC and the media card.

The error message that I receive on the two applications, it's that I have to turn on mass storage Mode.  When I look at my memory settings:

    Compression - enabled

Map of media Support - on

Mass Storage Mode Support - on

Auto enable mass storage Mode when connected - Yes

I formatted the card successfully on the BB.

I tried another card memory (2 GB) and also properly formatted as well.

I also tried another USB cable into another USB port.

I had a BB hard reset by pulling on the battery... several times.

I had another before Blackberrys and have never had a problem of access to the media card.  I would have thought that it is easier on the 9700.

I did search endlessly on the Web and saw other people with similar problems but many were so simple that the card is not seated properly and it also had the symptom that the BB is not recognizing the media card.  My BB recognize media cards and use them, but I can't access the card through my PC.  I understand that I may not see a pendrive pop up in Windows Explorer, but I can't understand why the BB Desktop or Media Sync cannot access.

I know that both of these applications communicate to the BB cause I get requests for passwords and the desktop, I can view all my applications and I used to update the device until the last OS level during the troubleshooting process.

I just wanted to see if anyone has experience this problem and has tips, if not I will contact AT & T or go into a local store to see if they can help.  I just think I'm missing something that I can take care off instead of my own.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Have you tried to connect the device on another computer?  If another computer to recognize the device, it may just be a case of bad USB drivers on your computer.

Here are some KB articles that may be able to help:

KB19717 - BlackBerry smartphone is not detected as a USB mass storage device when connected to a computer

KB10312 - impossible to display the map of support using the BlackBerry smartphone

You also need to remove the USB ports on your computer (using Device Manager), and then restart the computer to reload the correct drivers.

An alternative to this is to simply use a microSD card reader which allows you to use the microSD as a flash drive.

I hope that this info is another starting point for you!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not update AppWorld 907 invalid COD

Hi guys. I bought my Torch 9800 (v6.0.0.570) in 2011 and so far the problem is still not resolved. Everytime I open the AppWorld

-A message appears: "To continue to use Blackberry App World, you must upgrade your current version."

    - Then I download the update.

Whenever the 99% achieved download bar, suddenly a message appears "907 invalid COD".

I can't even delete my BB AppWorld. There is no option "Delete" in "Application Management" or "Modules".

    Hi Firdaus92

In this case, it is advisable to upgrade the version of your operating system to the v6.0.0.756

Search and download your OS and everything above applies

    By sdgardne

    However, here's what I propose...

The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find complete instructions via the link in my sig auto below. (It's probably debatable given the errors you have... it is likely that your data are already parts of your device, which means that you must now rely on a backup you took before that happened.)

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try the "skeleton OS Reload procedure" in an attempt to circumscribe the precise causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

You may also use these tips:

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not run Blackberry Protect - is no longer on BES

I gave my girlfriend my old BB 9000 when I upgraded my Blackberry just now. When I used to work at the time where it was attached to a BES, but when we switched phones I wiped first with BBSAK and load the new version of the OS 5, I could find on the subject.

Now that RIM brought out BB Protect we thought about installing on the 9000 (remember, not on a BES) would be a good idea then there would be a similar form of protection that I am currently getting my torch of my BES @ work.

However when you try to run the application on the 9000 we receive the message about the appliances running on a BES are not compatible... Why is this? The device is no longer on a BES. Wipe us at low altitude the device long ago then service books are not a problem.

Is there something implemented caching on RIM / side of the provider we need to erase? Once is a device on a BES definitely seen that way in the system?

    Help, please!

Message appears: "to continue using Blackberry App World, you need to upgrade your current version. ..."

    Select [update]

    • He asks to restart the BB,

    (2) a Batt Pull reboot (power on, remove the battery, wait, insert the battery, wait), even if redundant to the one you did in step 1.
