Arabic text - font substitute number - Urgent.

Hello

We use After Effects to create subtitles in Arabic, we use the Arabic script to make the Arabic text to write correctly (all joined upward flowing from right to left).

We need to use the Arabic font personalized to the client on the project and it is used correctly on most of the text, but on characters strange After Effects defaults to return to the 'Adobe Arabic' police characters If we try to select these characters and the changes make back that we must, as soon as I click on enter, he substituted fonts for Adobe Arabic.

Is there a way to stop this?

Thank you

No need for a special script for right to left. I did Hebrew text for more than a decade, and the solution is quite simple:

1. copy your text in a layer of an editor unformatted text. No photoshop, try Notepad or even the address bar of your browser (it matter little as long as it is not formatted). It will stick of course in reverse.

2 untie the processing of scale for the text layer and reverse the balance of x, by example-100, 100

3. Add a host of scale and do the same thing

Now you the text can be written from right to left and text animations will be there as well.

bare in mind that hooks and you will need to reverse the numbers back up manually since 2016 will be now 6102.

If you still have problems, share a few screenshots and try to explain, through it, what exactly.

    Hi Jacob,

    If you install the version of Hebrew or Arabic, number 8-12 are automatically activated.

    I also recommend installing a precious version as CC 2014 as a LTR version if you need only occasionally and your main work in version English.

    This way you can easily switch between languages without having to re-install-of.

    Hello

    Download the operating system for the carrier and use the Application Loader within the Desktop Manager software (that came with the box) and select Arabic with the language options (if it is an option).

    Alternatively you could install the operating system of an Arab company (is to delete the vendor.xml file), but this is not recommended.

    This is my website (the short version) instructions:

    Get an operating system from here:http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

    ----------------------------------

    The operating system of software downloaded from the Blackberry site contains all of the files required to recharge the o/s.
    The Desktop Manager software is NOT necessary!

    Once downloaded and installed, follow these instructions:

    • Download the file from the OS from the website of your carrier to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
    • Go to c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    • Plug in BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

    The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on the amount of data you need to back up and restore during the process. Once he did load the new OS, it will reboot (it may do it twice during the entire process.) You will see a white screen with a hourglass up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says "waiting for initialization." If, for any reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply reconnect to the PC and run Loader.exe again and it should load the operating system on the device.

    Arab in AI CC 2015 would be a way to use as below

    1. 'Show the Indo-Aryan Options' in the preferences
    2. You can select Adobe line composer as it works with the suite of measures
    3. Click on "Window" tab-> click on Type ->, click Character Styles
    4. In the pop-up window, select the menu drop-down and click Options from character Style
    5. In the following pop-up window click Middle East Character Formats -> click on the drop down menu to the Direction of character and choose from right to left
    • It should work edit documents in Arabic and you can choose any compatible with Arabic font (Adobe has also some predefined fonts)
    • The only catch here is that when you want to type English words between Arabic, you will need to tap back i.e. lets say you want to type the English word SUPER between the Arabic words, you will need to type it as FULL using English keyboard.

    This has worked well for me and seems to be the easiest.

  • InDesign 2014 - handle Arabic text

    Hi all

    We are desperately trying to get 2014 CC Indesign to work with an Arabic copy, but have cones through some rather fruity questions.

    Using the plain text (copied from text edit), insert the Arabic text (arial font) in a document.

    As you will see in the screenshot, the editor of world single line is selected.

    But as you'll see also the screenshot - the complete point on the Arabic phrase at the wrong end of the line - must be read to the left.

    Screen Shot 2015-02-02 at 10.39.02.png

    This has happened in several files - but we can't find any solution.

    Here's another example... the biggest point is set to no differently, but reads it correctly. The smaller print does not work.

    Screen Shot 2015-02-02 at 10.44.36.pngScreen Shot 2015-02-02 at 10.44.53.png

    Curiously, the Adobe guide using the Arab copy in CC, demonstrate that we have not (indesign CC 2014) of the menu options

    It also seems that any type of return (hard or soft) will affect the orientation of the line - so we took them and presto! the line read correctly.

    But the full point and put back them in past the end of the line and make the incorrect sentence.

    Screen Shot 2015-02-02 at 10.45.49.pngScreen Shot 2015-02-02 at 10.46.01.png

    Can someone explain what is happening?

    Thanks in advance

    Everafter13

    I do not text RTL, set so I can't really tell you, but I think, since you mention the returns is the direction of history, or the paragraph direction (in the style, if there is a sense of the paragraph - I don't know there). You really need to download the correct version of ID to do this.

  • Problems of Arab composite fonts

    We had problems with the fonts Adobe Arab in police composite very useful functions now available in ME versions of Indesign. Arabic text not composed of all (see Myriad Arab in the picture as an attachment) or has problems of composition (see one I think is Naskh Adobe Adobe Arabic - low). I think, first of all this to be a matter of Indesign, but we use other fonts Adobe non-Arabs and we don't remember ever having the same problem with them. And the fact that the results vary with different fonts also report whether a problem with the police.

    aracomp.png

    In Indesign, it is possible to set the different ranges of glyphs (writing script, punctuation, etc.) to render in different fonts, but to appear as a single font in the menu. It was a feature in Indesign Japanese 1 day, but it was in the ME version since CS6.

    I have since discovered that the problem seems to occur with Arabic fonts that contain Roman glyphs, so I guess it's actually a matter of Indesign.

  • Adobe Arabic do not call the final form of the Arabic text?

    Hello

    I'm creating a journal that is mostly in English, but has an article in Arabic. I use InDesign CS5.5ME and uses Adobe Arabic for the Arabic text 2.006.

    I have a situation in which it appears that InDesign reads a diacritical mark in the middle of a Word as an indication that the word has come to an end.

    In the screenshot below, you can see that the heh ending at each of these four words is preceded by a dal with one or two diacritics. It seems that the diacritics speaker causes InDesign to assume the word is finished, and it is affecting the heh using its isolated form. What my editor tells me, it's the heh must be set using its final form.

    Screen Shot 2013-07-08 at 4.42.08 PM.png

    When I change the police for another font with Arabic characters - say X Davat or Times New Roman - the heh correctly takes its final form.

    This leads me to believe that some police - perhaps connected to the diacritic - statement is incorrect. In InDesign settings appear to be correct (otherwise, the problem would appear in other fonts, too). Can anyone else reproduce this problem? Does anyone know if Adobe Arabic 2007 solves this problem (assuming it's a bug)?

    Thanks for any help.

    Thanks for your help, Miguel.

    For anyone who has followed this thread, Miguel helped me discover that InDesign was load an earlier version of the police. While I thought that I had loaded v2.006, I actually had not, so InDesign 'found' a version and that in its place. I'm still trying to understand loading where the old version, but now, when I'm sure I have loaded version 2.006, InDesign built correctly the words using the correct characters.

    To find out which version of the police has been actually used in my paper, I opened the find font dialog box and clicked on the button more than information - a feature that I had forgotten in the past, but will rely on a lot from that time.

  • Arabic text appear as blocks unrecognized

    I'm trying to copy and paste Arabic text in a work of Illustrator I have now. I added just before to the Arabic keyboard in the system, however, whatever he, Arabic text present you like trash of unrecognized blocks. My illustrator works in English, however, I have no problem sticking in the Chinese text. I have also no problem writing Arabic text in some system applications, such as textpad and even Microsoft Word, using current Chinese fonts, or English.

    I have no idea why this is happening. guess this could have to do with the lack of Arabic characters in my Illustrator program. Are there other possibilities?

    And if I'm right, can someone tell me where I can download some Arabic fonts?

    In addition, there is some tips associated with the writing of right to left languages? Thank you.

  • How the SUM cells including the text and the number?

    Hello world

    Someone can tell me how the SUM cells include the text and the number?

    1 Bob 20

    2 30 Jane

    3 50 Jame

    Total 100

    Thank you

    Hi Jordan,.

    If the numbers are not always two digits, FIND the position of the space between the number and name:

    Formula in B2 (fill down)

    = FIND("",A2)

    Then use the LEFT function to get the number in the column C:

    Formula in C2 (fill down)

    = LEFT (A2, B2)

    This will give a text string (Tip: left-aligned).

    Convert to a numeric value in the D column with the VALUE function:

    Formula in D2 (fill down)

    VALUE = (C2)

    (Tip: propped right)

    Table 1 has a header row and footer of the line, and the SUM is easy. Formula to the D8 footer line:

    = SUM (D)

    Kind regards

    Ian.

    Edit: You can hide columns B and C

  • Getting a 0 when converting text to a number. need help.

    Hello world

    I am in 2nd year CS design my 1st app for blackberry. I use the code provided by RIM as my starting base.

    My problem is that when I convert a text in a number input using parseInt (foo.text) or (foo.text) Number I have a 0 instead of the number entered by the user. Here is the code I wrote for user input:

    var myInput:TextField = new TextField();
    addChild (myInput);

    myInput.type = "input";
    myInput.border = true;
    myInput.x = 140;
    myInput.y = 40;
    myInput.width = 125;
    myInput.height = 20;

    var n: Number = Number (myInput.text);

    var ntring = String (myInput.text);

    var firstnum = Number (n);
    trace (n);

    the trace function returns a 0. I also tried this:

    var firstnum:TextInput = new TextInput();
    newUfirstnum.width = 200;
    newfirstnum.x = 140;
    newUfirstnum.y = 65;
    newfirstnum. Height = 20;
    addChild (firstnum);

    var input: int = parseInt (firstnum.text);

    trace (Input);

    Does anyone know why I get a 0 and what I can do about it? Any advice would be helpful.

    Thank you.

    Hey,.

    just a follow-up in case you're having trouble, here is a working application that uses the same variables as you did. It is an object TextInput (QNX) and a tag button that click you on to see what the variable text in the TextInput object. When you click on it will trace the value in the debugger:

    package

        import flash.display.Sprite;
