Are updated faster Windows via downlaod automatic or manual download

32 bit Vista Home premium with MS update

As I have my system to check microsoft updates per day and downlaod / install at one point.

But sometimes I click on check for updates button' and then go ahead and click on install

If it takes more time to download and install when I do like this vs auto? It seems like he does, but this could be because I'm actually waiting, while the car is happening during the night

The Windows Update on your PC client checks the Microsoft's Windows Update server for the availability of new updates at irregular intervals and such randomization ensures that the Windows Update server is not overloaded with requests for updates at a time. The customer is very effective in searching for new updates and research updates that have been added since the last time updates have been excavated, which allows him to find the updates quickly and efficiently.

When checking for updates, the Windows Update client evaluates if the update is appropriate for your computer using guidelines set by the Publisher of the update, for example, Microsoft Office.

If the computer is not online at the same time that you specified to search for updates, the Windows Update client starts then check every five hours or something like that until he finds the updates successfully.

If Windows wants to install updates at shutdown, it's because the automatic updates downloaded updates, but not all updates you have requested or for automatic download. It will install the updates it has already downloaded and will inform you in good time when others are downloaded.

When all updates are listed so you check manually that you control the Windows Update server directly applicable to your system and you can immediately download and install. It is good to do a manual update now and again just to check what other updates are available as optional updates.
