  I use AS3 to import, add and fill a scroll bar with textfields. I want to position the vertical scroll bar on the left side rather than on the right side. How can I go about using AS3?

  Oh OK. If you want to adjust the position of the scrollbar in a ScrollPane component, it may be possible with a bit of work. only from some experiments, then, I found that you can refer to the vertical scroll bar in a ScrollPane with the verticalScrollBar property and this allows to move, with something like:
  scroller.verticalScrollBar.x =-20;

  However, you must wait to make content and scrollbars to become active before trying to move the scroll bar. I used the event 'added' as follows: (see attached the code below)

  I have a control which is an array of enums. I show only a single element. LabVIEW will allow me to display a horizontal scroll bar. I need the scroll bar to be vertical to match the other controls and LEDs on the front panel.   I think that there is a bug in the way the dialog box manages the selection/deselection of scroll bars that a person OR you participate on this conversation and "Send" to have a CAR # assigned.

  I use a 64-bit version of Windows 7 on a HP m9400f. I think that this problem is fairly new. When you view a folder in Explorer with a fairly large number of files that I have to scroll to the bottom of a page or more, I find only a few seconds, the screen resets itself and the scroll bar and display of the folders back to the top. The "timing" on reboot is pretty random but always too short to select or manipulate files. Any ideas?

I know there are two arrows on the right to navigate through compositions that are out of sight, but it does not work that well for me, as I have to scroll a lot of comps all the time and the scroll bar was ideal for that.

  Simply place your mouse over the tabs and the roller wheel. EZ as pie. It works on each tab in the user interface. I'm still the effects of locking control panels and new ones for the different layers of opening. The project, I am working on right now has locked 9 control panels of the effects that can be easily scroll with the mouse without even a click wheel.

  Hi - I have these 3 buttons that when spilled they display text in a textfield. In this case, the text is longer than the field is great and the scroll bar is enabled. The problem is when I use the scroll bar to read at the end of the text of btn1 and then press btn2, the scroll bar is in the same position 'end of paragraph"rather than at the beginning of a new text. Then how to reset at the beginning of the text when a new text field is called the scroll bar?

  assign the scroll of textfield property to zero when loading new text. Depending on how the scroll bar was coded, that may be all you need to do.

  Have seen other issues similar to mine and they can be on the same issue, but they say that the scroll bar disappears, in fact, it's still there but almost invisible. Try to click on it without knowing the exact location to cause the uncontrolled scrolling page. Other issues advised people to restore their browser by default, but that did not help at all. Had this same problem for about 6 of the latest versions of firefox, all say in the 1930s versions. I tried adding contrast high Windows as an experiment, but that did not help at all either. Been trying help for awhile and just now decided to ask myself a question as the other speakers may have given or answerers may think it is resolved.

    In searching through help files it has led me to find a space based theme for the browser that I enjoy, but does not solve issue of course, so... all is not lost. Took a jpg of the image of the browser that shows the issue and am trying to upload it but looks like it is stuck in upload mode. Ugh "high speed" , anyhow maybe it uploaded and is not showing, the bar on the right is about 3/4 of the way down the side if you can see it, almost invisible.

  Discovered it was my own question of system, but had to talk with others, before I realized how in the absence of mind my question was. Old system had control of contrast on the screen, and they have been set to 4 digits off the coast of 50 / 100. I wouldn't think that little would make a difference, because it doesn't have in all the other use of the browser, but he did. So was my system, actual physical hardware settings. Sorry for wasting your time but thanks much for all of your thoughts.
