  After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

  I have an instrument that generates at the rate of several per second .dat files.  The device stores the files on a PC.  The PC has a LabVIEW .vi which checks the new .dat files.  If a file is found, the .vi reads data, calculates a value, then deletes the file.  If the LV application is stopped by a person until the unit is off, the hard drive fills up within hours.

  The .vi is configured to run at the opening, but I need a pop up warning message in case someone tries to stop the vi.

  If you want the two timelines stop then you need to tell the two timelines to stop.  With the help of _root.stop (); should be enough to stop the main timeline and a stop(); should work within the timeline of the movieclip.

  No, do NOT overlay the files with the new versions. The Esm files, PAG and IND are what you need. If you delete anything, files ending with n. depending on the version, when the application starts, it can remove them automatically.

  You should be able to move your cursor to the top of the screen and the menu bar will fall.  So, you start with

  

  Drag the slider to the top of the screen against the edge and hold that and you should see

  

  Click the button of "green".  This should take you out of mode full-screen Mail.

  Command + control + F should do it too.

  Also when you have the cursor at the top of the screen and the menu bar comes down, you could also use Mail-> view-> full screen output

  You should also be able to use the command + Tab to switch to another application
