ASA 8.4 (1) user AnyConnect Premium upgrade license

Before version 8.4 (1), Cisco has called their license name for SSL/VPN Premium AnyConnect SSL VPN users and currently the new name of the license is simply AnyConnect Premium. In addition, the IOS show name amount users VPN/SSL enabled via your license (Exodus 2, 10, 25, 50,...) by running a 'show activation code"went under SSL VPN peers to peers Premium AnyConnect.

That said, my question is if the upgrade license 10 users to 25 users (L-ASA-SSL-10-25 = -

ASA 5500 SSL VPN 10 to 25 user Premium upgrade license) on a SAA before 8.4 (1) and an ASA with 8.4 (1) is always topical and the good part number make these upgrades for the two ASAs. The description of this part number throws me because it says SSL VPN for Premium user, which was the name before 8.4 (1). I couldn't find any documentation about this part number or to modernize the two ASAs 10 users to 25 users.

Can someone check this part number is perfectly fine to make these upgrades? I appreciate any help or advice.

' L ASA-SSL-10-25 ' of Cisco is indeed part number correct to use for the upgrade of an ASA with 8.4 (1) a user of 10 to 25 AnyConnect Premium license user.

I agree that it would be clearer if they simply called it a "AnyConnect Premium" instead of SSL VPN license. This makes it much more confusing since the AnyConnect Essentials and Premium supports the SSL VPN client-oriented. Based on a browser (without customer) is a feature you get with Anyconnect Premium

  • Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade license transfer to another computer

I bought a Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade Family Pack which has been licensed for installation on 3 machines. One of the machines that were installed on (a HP Pavilion DV 9000) became unusable and I would like to transfer this license to a desktop computer running Windows XP and to upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit. A new facility was made and this succeeded. How to activate Windows 7 on this computer and cancel the license on the defective HP DV 9000?

As long as it is no longer in use on the old machine, you can re-enable it by phone on the new machine.

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

You can uninstall the license from the old machine:

    Click Start, type: CMD
    Right-click on CMD
    Click on run as administrator
At the command prompt, type: slmgr.vbs - upk

Press enter, this uninstall the product key from the computer and get back to the test mode

  • AnyConnect Premium - Rehost license

    Hello

I´d would like to know how the license Premium Anyconnect rehost. Is this possible?

I mean, I have 10 license on my ASA and now I´d to put it on an other ASA.

    How to do this?

    Kind regards.

Sorry but what you ask is available in the case of a number of RMA (Return Material Authorization) of a failed unit. The reasoning is that the old unit will not 'license' for what is already.

If you are the old unit and rating upgrade - tell to a 5500 to 5500 - Series X - you may be able to get your manager to bring some relief from cost under the technology transfer program, but which differs from the rehosting license.

  • What VPN Client for ASA 5550 AnyConnect Premium connection?

We have version9 a couple of ASA550 I want to put in place a VPN client for use with remote access to administration. We have included AnyConnect VPN, Premium license peers 2 so I guess we can just use of Cisco AnyConnect VPN client. I went to Cisco's Web site and it says that I don't have right to the last Anyconnect VPN Client 4.x but I don't have access to the version 3.x.

The 3.x client is compatible with the ASA and also Windows 10?

If Yes, what is the correct file to use, there are many files listed for download in AnyConnect 3.x?

In addition, what is the difference between the AnyConnect 3.x and 4.x customer and why Cisco restricting 4.x?

    Jim

AnyConnect 4.x has changed the licensing model. AnyConnect 4.x licenses are term based licensing vs perpetual 3.x. There are a number of other differences, mainly due to there being only two license types - more and Apex - no Mobile plus, Advanced Endpoint Assessment, shared VPN etc. Cisco offers a nominal or no license cost of migration until the end of 2015. (depending on what you have: positive Essentials or Apex at premium)

AnyConnect 3.1 will work with Windows 10 and the latest version of the Software ASA (since Version 3.1.10010). Reference:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/security/vpn_client/AnyConnect/ANYC...

There are two ways it is distributed - as a stand-alone installation or package for the distribution of the ASA station. Both come in Windows, Mac OS X and Linux distributions. For a Windows client, you must use either:

    AnyConnect-Win-3.1.12020-pre-deploy-K9.ISO

    AnyConnect-victory - 3.1.12020 - k9.pkg

.. .to the current version of these respective form factors.

  • AnyConnect 4.0 license with ASA-5515-FPWR

    Hi all

I have a small question, where I can't find a clear answer for:

A customer wants to buy a new ASA for a showroom. He wants to connect 30 phones VPN and 60 VPN users, where only 10 of them are simultaneously connected. Then we would have two choices now

-Either go with the 3.5 Anyconnect licensing, with a premium SSL 50 license and activation phones VPN and mobility AC licenses

    - Or go to AC 4.0 license, where we would have to license 100 users with MORE licenses.

    My questions are:

-Can I any other / more license on the SAA (i.e. SSL)

    -Where to install the license

-How is the number of users (i.e. of the ad groups, local accounts)

Is there a documentation clearly indicating the answers

Thank you all for your help.

If you want that the phone itself to be the endpoint remote VPN access, then Yes - you need VPN phone license which requires in turn AnyConnect Premium (for 3.x installations)

"Plus" AnyConnect (for 4.x) includes 'VPN functionality for PC and mobile platforms, including per-app VPN on mobile platforms and phone Cisco VPN' (referring to the January 2015 of the ordering Guide AnyConnect 4.0 version)

  • AnyConnect Premium license

I'm looking for the purchase of a license for Anyconnect Premium for the ASA5510 running IOS 8.4. I found the following, but I can not find the description of ASA-NZEV-5510 =. Is that what that means unlimited number of users?

Shared Premium VPN Server License-500 ASA-VPN-500 users =

Shared premium VPN Participant license - ASA 5510 ASA-NZEV-5510 =

I worked on IOS 8.2, the CSD is a separatepurchase. Cisco Secure Desktop is included in this license? If this is not the case, what is the part number?

    OK - you need L-ASA-SSL-250.

Purchase which allows you to get an activation code, which, when installed on your device will change

    AnyConnect Premium peers: 2 perpetual

"250" (as opposed to the default 2).

  • CERT ID on ASA change with impact session AnyConnect?

Hello all - I should probably know this answer, however, I'm not 100%.

If I change the cert ID (trust point) of the external interface to use a "most recent" certificate, although there are client AnyConnect connected, the session will end?

I believe that the answer is Yes, since the keys will change.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thank you!

    Hello

He not disconnect users, because the main purpose of the use of cert in the first place other than identity is to distribute safe symmetric session key. Once this is done, the work of cert is done.

I did a quick test on my end.

I have connected a customer to the ASA using certificates. Here are the results:

ASA-32-25 # sh run all the ssl
    SSL server-version everything
    client SSL version all
    SSL encryption, 3des-sha1-aes128-sha1 aes256-sha1 md5 - rc4-rc4-sha1
    Trust SSL SSL outdoors<-- this="" is="" the="" certificate="" applied="" on="" outside="">
    SSL certificate authentication CAF-timeout 2

Now, I have connected my client and he got connected successfully:

ASA-32-25 (config) # poster not vpn - its

    Session type: AnyConnect

    Username: anyconnect Index: 50
Public IP address 192.168.10.2 assigned IP:: x.x.x.x

I removed then, the certificate for the external interface.

ASA-32-25 (config) # points trust without ssl SSL outdoors

And when I checked the status of the connected client, I saw that he was still logged:

ASA-32-25 (config) # poster not vpn - its

    Session type: AnyConnect

    Username: anyconnect Index: 50
Public IP address 192.168.10.2 assigned IP:: x.x.x.x

    Result of the NAC: unknown

The conclusion therefore, is that users will not be cut if you change the certificate on the external interface.

    Hope that answers your question.

  • Downloaded Windows 7 Premium upgrade to Windows Vista on my desktop in error.

I have Windows Vista and have had a lot of problems lately. I had a COMPUTER technician come and take a look. He said to back up my computer & go with Windows 7 Premium 32 bit & start over. • My computer is silent. I think XP audio drivers are corrupted__If I install Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade it will provide new drivers for sound card?

My computer fell silent months ago after a download. I checked the healthy zone and everything is on and not anywhere in the system. I did a scan of unknown quality and that indicates a problem with the audio drivers. I tried to download new divers from Microsoft.

Rather than spending all the resources on the Windows XP system, I am considering Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade. Upgrades include new audio drivers which will replace or overwrite the existing problem and make it all work as it should again.

You can not spend XP as it's a clean install to get W7 on your PC. To help transfer data documents, use the transfer on the W7 DVD program.

Before doing that I suggest you download the Advisor to upgrade to W7 from Ms. If your PC passes, then you go to the next step which is download W7 drivers for your video card, sound card, printer, etc. and their storage on a USB for post install W7.

If your PC isn't at the height (lack of drivers for one or more of your cards), then I would stick to XP. There is no guarantee that Vista drivers work in W7.

If you stick to XP, download the drivers for specific sound card XP the PC manufacturer's Web site, they can be more up-to-date than those at Ms.

    See you soon,.

  • Vista Business - > Win 7 Home Premium upgrade does not work with my Win 7 Home Premium Upgrade disc

I bought a Windows 7 upgrade for $99 at Dell when I bought a new computer Win 7 and am finally getting around to upgrading my Vista Business. The reason for road upgrading rather than clean install was to avoid reinstalling all applications, a major, major time sink, even if I find all the drives in application. Is the upgrade to Win 7 Home Premium.

After starting the upgrade, he stopped, telling me that I can only switch to Win 7 Pro, Ultimate or enterprise. For the upgrade to proceed, told me that he needed a clean installation and that I would then have to re - install all the applications. I looked on the Microsoft site, trying to find how to set my Windows 7 Pro upgrade disc, but I have been unable to find how this could be done after through many convolutions of web pages.

Could someone tell me please how to put my Win 7 Home Premium Upgrade disk to a Windows 7 Pro upgrade disc?

Thank you very kindly for any response.

I guess it depends on what side of the coin of your on. If someone bought the Windows 7 Pro upgrade, whereas they would have only a single lane of evolution, which is the more common scenario.

  • Re use Vista Home Premium Upgrade disc

    Hello

I bought and Vista Home Premium Upgrade disc and upgraded to Windows XP. Unfortunately my PC has not enough graphics to run Aero and DVD Maker (915 chipset), and I had tried unsuccessfully to introduce a new videocard (power problem). So I gave up with this PC and will probably go back to XP or get a copy of Vista Home Basic which will be OK on this PC.

I did the clean installation thing with the upgrade disk if my old XP system is not affected and can be restored without problem.

    My question is:

If I buy a latest PC who has the necessary graphics to run the Home Premium edition, can I re reuse the upgrade disc, or the activation process will fail because of "improved" after having already.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi Evereti,

You can try installing upgrade of Windows Vista on another PC as if you removed completely from Windows Vista to Windows XP PC. You will not be able to use the same copy on two different computers at the same time. It will affect the Product Activation.
