  I have a problem with the display of Asian characters. In a number of programs instead of display characters, it shows just the squares for lack of character. I recently installed Windows 7 (some time last week) and could see all the fine Asian characters. The problem started this morning after restarting my computer (before I restarted the computer, I could see all the characters).   b. recent changes made on your computer, such as installing or upgrading the software/hardware?

  It looks like the default font (SlatePro) changed in 10.0.9.1675 regarding the support of Asian fonts.

  Simplified Chinese have a lot of missing characters.

  Traditional Chinese font style has changed (looked better before).

  My Dev Alpha OS was not updated correctly.  I deleted and reinstalled the operating system and now all is well!

  Every time I select this option, firefox only displays the characters that appear when you don't have foreign fonts installed, with the exception of the English. The characters are squares with numbers inside at the bottom of the character.

  As the title says... white square random appearing at different Zoom levels on random images. Reboot temporarily erases the problem.

  This is a bug with the GPU enabled for Camera Raw in Bridge. Turn it off to get rid of white and blue screen.

  I use Robohelp 7.0.2 and I'm having problems for Japanese and Chinese characters is displayed correctly in the table of contents of my project.
  
  My HHC and Perfect files are correctly encoded in UTF-8 format and appear correctly in the main interface of Robohelp. My subjects also displayed correctly. I also have a translation German and all (including ulmhauts appear correctly) in all contexts.

  Hi, I use an HP computer, and I recently got a free update from HP for windows 7 because I had bought my computer. However, the only thing I have noticed about this is that it does not support Korean. If I try to change the properties of a song through windows or on Itunes, the letter out in boxes. I checked online for an answer, but all I get is to go to the clock/regional languages tab and click on the installation of the new language tab keyboard and languages tab. The thing is, there is not a tab of new languages install on mine. All I have is the keyboard and other input languages, but that's all.   I was working on a file in CFB and suddenly hidden spaces have been posted. Not sure if I hit a key combination by chance as them running, but I can't understand how to turn them off! It drives me crazy, the fixing of whitespace Eclipse editor is disabled (if I turn it on, it appears to try to cover what I see now) I tried to reset the editor-in-Chief, change of perspective, etc. Nothing seems to get rid of, ideas?

  You probably pressed CTRL-. at a certain stage.  It take me (and others) too just now.

  I worked on what the key-combo was in Prefs > General > keys and filtering the list on 'space '.

• Content and tab Index showing the characters corrupt in Asian languages (RoboHelp 10)

  Japanese and Chinese files CHM I received from my Asian translator show correct characters in the Index table to the tabs. I need to make a change to the help, but when I open the project or compile it, words for these tabs show as corrupted characters. I have Japanese and simplified Chinese language packs installed and tried to move my PC language to these languages, but still get the corrupted characters.

  One thing I notice is that, in the! Language! files for all languages, there is a! Language!. FPJ file and a folder en_US with a file of en_US.fpj in it. The two .fpj files include the text "<? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "utf - 8"? ' > '. Should there be a different .fpj for Asian languages file?

  Any other ideas?

  Edit: Also, I changed the language in the settings dialog box of the project for the simplified Chinese while my PC language has been updated with the Chinese, but that has not changed anything.

  Here is the complete solution.

  Note: This is for the HTML Help files.

  On your PC:

  1. Make sure that the appropriate language pack is installed on your PC.
  2. Select Start > Control Panel > region and language.
  3. On the Format and the Administrative tabs, set the Format and the settings system locale the appropriate language/country.
  4. Restart the PC.

  Note: PC's display language doesn't have to be on the target language.

  In RoboHelp:

  1. Open the Asian aid project.
  2. Select file > project settings, and then select the appropriate language.
  3. Select file > generate > primary layout.
  4. In the HTML Help Options dialog box, select the appropriate language, and then click Save and generate.
