  My company is about to go live with its first expansion of our internal network wireless. Our original intention was to allow wireless access to our customers and suppliers, while they were waiting for appointments or attend meetings in our conference rooms, essentially a public Wi - Fi hotspot. To protect our LAN we installed a NAT router and switch 10/100 on the outside of our DMZ and connected our four wireless AP (Cisco 1231 B/G) to the switch. We have put in place of the AP with 128 bit WEP and planned to give the encryption key to someone who needed it, but now we wonder if it's really safer than to run without WEP. If two or more customers are connected to our WLAN are safer because we run with active WEP, if the encryption key is available to the public? What is the current standard practice?   In this situation, allowing wep figure all traffic from all the guests. This does not prevent a guest from snooping in the traffic of another. He can always use a laptop with linux loaded with tools open source such as Airsnort, Kismet etc and if he can get at least 1 million to 4 million packets it may break the wep key (which is huge and will probably take weeks to collect - and this can be done by a guest who knows the wep key and try to hack the network by sitting in his car in a parking lot)

  Activation of WEP certainly helps, but I recommend a policy frequently turning the WEP keys. WEP will at least, it is difficult for a snooper hack the network rather than having an unencrypted network.

  Hot spots: a quarrel of disc, i.e. when an individual disk drive is overloaded with e/s and have the ability to answer within the time scheduled or desired. The term dates with database I/O performance, where a relatively small segment of the database (hot spot) is responsible for a high number of disk bed and written that overloading a single disc.

  I use 9 Captivate and my hot spot question has two hot spots: Yes or no. How can I make sure the user, just click either Yes or no, not both. It defeats the purpose of the question when there are animations that are glued on the two hot spots, and you cannot remove them.

  You will need a question slide custom hotspot, not the default value that is too limited. I never use it myself. There is not really your use case described in this article, but it can offer you a few ideas anyway:

  The specific problem I'm having right now counts the number of times where an is clicked a hotspot. I have four hot spots and need to track the number of times where is clicked on each hotspot. The variable "tent" gives me the total for the whole interaction. Since they are not considered, I can't use correct or wrong. You have any ideas? I would use the "tries@title" icon, but all the hotspots are contained in the icon interaction so that no longer works.

  I often structured interactions so that I can enjoy the variable 'ChoiceNumber. If your access points are all consecutive and they are the first things to the right of the interaction, you can use a variable from the list.

  1 can. What operator I use to separate the image.   You can add the page as a top-level page. When you create the outline view, right-click on the thumbnail of the page, then click on the Menu Options-> exclude Page of Menus. This will make the page is not in the main level menu link. You can call the hyperlink by selecting the object that you want to have the hyperlink, and then clicking on the pull down menu in the control strip where it says enter link. Select the page you want to link to.

  Regarding the link at bottom of page, I suggest using real text and apply the hyperlink to that by selecting the block of text by typing in the link. If you want to continue using a hotspot, you can create a rectangle over the area you want to link. Change the rectangle to have no line and a (probably white) opaque fill for the % 1, then you will be able to use the functionality of link for this area. The biggest concern for the creation of a hot spot, it is that it can align properly in all browsers the receipt page and fill in the rectangle, that the link does not work properly in Internet Explorer.
