Aspire graphics 4752Z

I have an Aspire 4752Z Win 10 running. In my office "dock", I use a larger screen. My old Dell 17 "monitor threw up recently, so I picked up a new 27" Samsung monitor. Poster now expanded/bloated. My problem is that I can't set a resolution for the new monitor. Someone told me that I have to update my graphics? Need help.

Acer does not support win 10 on this laptop and not win 10 drivers for it.

You'll have to ID what graphics chip you have, Intel or Nvidia, seek to win 10 drivers for it

and continue to try until you find one that works. If you do not, you can always restore your previous version.

If win 10 does not immediately delete the Windows.old as he did to one of my friends.

  • Can I change the processor and graphics card on my acer aspire?

    Hello

    recently I went in game

And I really want to be able to play at HQ

So my question is: can I put a new processor and video card

In my acer aspire witouth problems?

Doesn't look like as you can change the processor. Limits to the motherboard. But there is no onboard video. If you get a low profile graphics card and added it to the computer, it could work. But because the computer is an older computer, you will not be able to put in the last and best. I would like to talk to a local technician to see what is available in your area for this computer.

  • Aspire switchable graphics issue E5 - 521G

    Hello

I recently purchased Aspire E5 - 521G with AMD R5 graphic m240 which should have 1 GB of video memory dedicated. Atleast desciption of the computer said that, before I bought it. When I got the pc, I noticed that there is 2 GB of video memory dedicated. Ant thing is that it has not only r5, but r4 graphics also. Before I got this pc I got one with intel hd graphics 4400 with only 32 MB of video memory dedicated. And the thig is I played GTA IV on this medium computer with graphics settings. But I can't do it on this computer wit 2 GB video memory dedicated. So, what's the problem? The only thig that make me buy this pc was this dedicated r5 with 1 GB video memory graphics card. And when I ir I also has a kind of chart amd r4 card... And anyway. How is it possible that intel hd graphics card with 32 MB dedicated video memory has better gmaing the experience of this dedicated r5 with 1 GB video memory?

Is it possible to fix this? I want to say I can not change anything in the bios, because there bios insydeh2o which is locked so theres no option in the bios. AMD Contror Panel has options just to "energy saving" and "maximum performace" and who is not useful at all. Is it possible to allow fixed graphics or somethig like that?

    Any help would be grateful.

    Best regards, Ausrius.

It turns out that, graphic r5 works fine. Apparently intel graphics hd 4400 with intel core i5 was such a good experience for gta iv. And I expect more than r5. And there is always something wrong with gta iv. Despite all this I have max graphics settings for gta iv, monitor system amd sees it uses 60 to 80% of r5 and 80% of the precessor. But the thing is that I can play with these settings without any lag, if I keep the distance of less than 20% view. If I increase it to 50%, I'm starting to see the shift. And despite all this game always uses 80% of fraphics and over 80% of precessor. So that's it. No problem with graphics switchable. Oh, and it works very well also. I like the way things work.

  • Acer Aspire HD E1 graphics driver - 571-4000

Hello, I tried to update the HD Graphics 4000 driver in my Acer Aspire E1-571 and I'm able to get the latest version of the driver works very well from the Acer support page. However, this driver is almost 3 and a half years now or dates from 2012 with the fact that every time I encounter a problem with a modern game support always telling me to update my drivers. The latest driver from Intel page is perhaps not more than two months. I am aware that the driver must come from the OEM for him to be recognized, but decided to opt for a workaround see if I could update it in any case.

I tried the advice from the support page from Intel to uninstall the driver from Acer and do a fresh reinstall with the latest Intel driver instead, but it does not work. It seems that it only allows for Installer try to install it but fails halfway through, as supposed is not at all tell me to go to my OEM. It seems that Acer genuneily uses the custome for its driver software and if the latest driver must be provided.

I'm I missed something here, this is really the last version supplied by Acer and would it be possible for Acer to release a newer version. I also checked with people who use an HD Graphics 4000 and they do not seem to meet the same problems I did when using DX11. Which none use Acer laptops.

My characteristics are i5 - 3210 M 2.5 GHz with Turbo boost of 3.1 GHz technology

    8 GB RAM DDR3

Version number of Intel Graphics HD 4000 9.17.10.2867

I finally found the solution, you had reason to propose a system reset but that only highlighted the real problem. It was a combination of issues, hive corrupted corrupted windows installer and interference from program files. I recommend to anyone who tries this correction to create a Windows easy transfer file and backup register and license keys.

First of all, I tried to do a refresh of the system and then install the driver, even though I've updated first he failed and blue screened after the installation of the driver as he had not the necessary DirectX update. Which implies that updates has not really saved. I opened a restore point to back up the system and he projected blue perma then. The system repair tool is not actually grant me access to the restore point to try again. To work around this problem, I opened the disk part via the command prompt in the advanced and then forced Startup Repair tool permissions. To do this, I typed first 'Diskpart', then 'list volume', then select the disk D and C drive by their volume number. For my part D training was 0 and C disk 1, then withdraw their letters and assign again so that the primary drive is drive C (even if it does not change letters volume the end of it, it will always be you grants the permissions you need). This love so much "select volume 0", "Remove letter = d','select volume 1','Remove letter = c','select volume 1','affect letter = c',"select volume 0", " affect letter = d'. "" "" Then type 'exit' and 'rstrui.exe'. Perform the restore from here point and you should be able to continue the restore point.

With myself however, the restore point has been so severely altered it could not load up, worse yet, I was not able to make an another refresh or reset. I discovered that this was due to corrupt hive files, I renamed to solve this problem through the command-line as follows, ""C: ', 'cd %windir%\system32\config', "ren system system.001", "ren software software.001', 'exit'." This then allowed me to perform a system reset.

The first thing I tried to do was last updated in the system and even once, it has failed, it is constantly necessary to restart and wouldn't install anything. After you perform a clean boot, I realized that it was interference program McAfee and after he could not afford to be disabled I uninstalled it completely (I might have updated to see if he would settle the matter, but at this point, I was losing patience). Procceded updates until the end of the first batch. After that, the update has been stuck in a loop of always trying to find updates but never finished. It was because corrupt windows files from the installer, to solve this problem, I restarted the machine to make sure that the update has been closed and I opened as an admin command prompt so I could rename them and force the system to make new files by typing the following. "net stop wuauserv", "net stop cryptsvc", "net stop bits. Then type "ren SoftwareDistribution.old C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution", "ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old. Then type 'net start wuauserv', 'net start cryptsvc', 'net start bits' reactivate the update and then restart the computer. The update then worked fine until he hit Security Windows KB2756872 solve this I used a manual installation.

Available to the Update for Windows 8 for x 64 systems (KB2756872) - Microsoft and then select Windows8-RT-KB2756872-x 64.msu (162.8 MB).

After this all updates completed fine, I created my restore points (and a backup just in case restore point) and continued to install the driver manually. It worked the first time after having solved the problems. I use Windows easy transfer to restore all the files and after I re - install my programs, I'll be as good news.

  • Display the adapter set to Standard VGA Graphics Adapter on Aspire AX3950

    Hello

I have an Aspire AX3950 supplied with Windows 7 Home. I had to recreate the image on the computer to Windows 7 Professional so I could install Visual Studio 2013. I got my MSDN subscription software.

After successfully reimage the computer, the system only recognizes one of my monitors. It worked correctly with the same two monitors before updating windows. I checked the graphics card and it shows "Standard VGA Graphics Adaper". It was my mistake of not checking the adapter before the system update. From what I found on the internet this AX3950 has a graphic card coupled with the motherboard. My question is, how do I get the original graphics card working again?

    drivers can be found here:

    http://us.Acer.com/AC/en/us/content/drivers/2187;-; Longs % 20 X 3950

What is your VGA, click twice on the standard VGA adapter on Device Manager, select the tab "details" in the menu drop down choose 'hardwareIDs', select the first channel, copy and paste in google and see if it is Intel, nvidia or ATI.

Then select the proper drivers from the link above.

  • Aspire E5 - 511G: display driver intel graphics drivers hd for windows 8 (r) is no longer

    Hi all

    I bought my Aspire E5 - 511G a few days.

    I have successfully installed Windows 7 Professional (x 64).

I installed all the drivers downloaded form the support also section successfully.

The problem is that about every 5 ~ 10 minutes, I get the following message:

"display driver intel graphics drivers hd for windows 8 (r) stopped responding and has recovered".

This message itself is not a problem. The problem is that during Skype video calls after receiving this message, I see more or my own video and video of the callee.

Not only that, restart the call does not correct the problem.

The only solution is to restart Skype, but it does not work every time.

I had a similar problem with youtube videos, but I solved the problem by setting NVIDIA as graphics processor preferred for the browser application, but I have no option for Skype.

Can someone please? It is very very annoying.

    problem

Looks like that I managed to solve the problem.

Firstly, the link you provided was worng. The appropriate driver URL is https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=24329&lang=eng

As you can see it is the same driver for windows 7/8/8.1-64-bit.

Second, when I download and install it I get a message that my driver is up to date already (actuall I had other issues but that's another story)

In a Word, to install it, I did the following:

1 downloaded the zip of the "win64_153330.zip" driver version

2 extract the zip file to a folder.

    3. in the windows Device Manager, I uninstalled the graphics driver intel existing HD. So my screen stopped working (which is expected).

4 restart the laptop, windows loaded with the default VGA driver.

    5. Device Manager open, the crux of the VGA, click right and choose driver update driver.

    6. in the Update Driver Wizard I chose the location of already extracted files (step 2).

7 installing the driver successfully passed and asked windows to restart.

Now, after the reboot, I have a Skype has appealed for about 20 minutes and did not get the pilot error.

Also played some videos youtube - new error now.

    Summary:

The current version of the driver (of work) is 10.18.10.3958

The version of the driver provided by Acer's 10.18.10.3621

I'll post an update a few days more later how things happen.

  • Intel(r) HD Graphics Family Driver does not not for Aspire S7-392 in Windows 10

    Hello

I have improved my Aspire S7 - 392 to Windows 10 a few weeks ago, and while most things seem to work properly, the driver for the graphics card Intel (R) HD Graphics Family had the yellow exclamation of 'something is wrong' next to him since. Now, I am unable to connect my laptop on the external monitor that I use for work (as nothing happens when I do), and graphics performance are visibly slowed (point of use) when playing games still fairly weak demand.

Which would seem to indicate that there is a pretty big problem with drivers. I spent literally 10 hours on the phone with Microsoft Client service tries to understand the question, but all they could tell me after a fairly intensive survey was that they knew not what it was and wait for updates from Acer or Intel driver.

I have the latest driver on the Acer support site installed (although it doesn't seem to be one specifically for Windows 10) and I rolled back and updated and tried several versions of the drivers from there, but all seem to have the same problem.

I also downloaded Windows 10 Intel drivers that are supposed to be specially for my processor and graphics configuration, but when I try to install, it says that my computer does not meet the requirements (which is quite confusing when I have the exact material, so that the driver is designed).

I searched these forums for support for other users of the S7 Aspire with similar problems and for people with features of Intel(r) HD Graphics Family have similar problems, but can't seem to find anything.

My apologies if this has actually been discussed elsewhere, but no help at all with this issue would be appreciated. Windows 10 has been out for a while now, so I was hoping that a solution had been found to do this, since there must be a certain S7 users out there.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any ideas/advice,.

    Oli

    1. download the "Intel Driver Update" utility

    2. go manage the devices and uninstall/remove your Intel graphics driver

    3. run the Intel driver update utility.

Your current graphics driver is a custom OEM Acer/Intel graphics driver.  This is why it will not let you install.  If the generic driver update utility that installs does not quite work right, then you go back to the driver that is located on the site of the Acers.

If don't want to use the Intel utility driver update, then you will need to download the zip file of the driver instead of the driver .exe... and then use the disk method 'have' to install it. It is probably easier to use only the update of the Intel driver utility.

  • Aspire F5 - 571 - Intel 5500 HD Graphics display driver stopped responding and has recovered

    Hi all

    Bought a new Aspire F5 - 571 pre-installed with Windows 10 two months ago.

Recently, I started to receive the error message in the subject of this post.

Do a search reveals that there might be a problem with the display drivers.

I checked the Acer site for my model, and the only available drivers are drivers VGA Intel.

Intel web site reveals that drivers for Intel HD Graphics 5500 drivers OEM and are shipped by the manufacturer - of course in this case Acer.

Someone at - it an idea if it is has updated drivers anywhere on the Acer site?

    Best regards, gneil15

    http://www.howtogeek.com/223864/how-to-uninstall-and-block-updates-and-drivers-on-Windows-10/

Think also to check the C:\Intel folder and remove the VGA drivers inside if the list.

  • Has anyone upgraded one aspire 7520 to windows 8 and found the correct graphics drivers?

I clean installed an upgrade of Windows 8 32-bit on an Aspire 7520 (graphics, GeForce 7000 M) previously under Vista 32.

The graphics driver has been replaced by a generic driver from Microsoft that works for simple use, but has limited resolution (1024 * 768) and cannot correctly the video.

Device Manager indicates that there are 4 devices lack drivers. I healed two by downloading the card reader driver Ricoh (v 6.10.01.03) for Windows 7/32 of Acer and another by downloading the driver AMT_ENE also from Acer for Win 7/32.

The dveice remaining is presented as "co-processor", so I expected to fix this by downloading graphics drivers for Win7/32 x 86 Acer site. I tried several versions which load ok and seeing full resoultion on the desktop BUT the lock on the new start screen - bottom shows, applications disappear after a few seconds and Manager tasks indicates Windows explore burn 50% cpu. Device Manager still shows the coprocessor as not having not a pilot, but the graphics card shows Nvidia driver did not install Microsoft. The only solution is to roll back that the graphics display driver Microsoft generic adapter.

I also tried to load the latest chipset NVIDIA MCP67 Win7/32 chipset for Acer's drivers, but the installation program never ends properly.

Any advice welcome. Piriform Speccy Chipset is MCP67M, Nforce 560, motherboard (bios?) v 1.09

I found a video driver that works: install 7.15.11.7948 by downloading the Windows 7 beta driver 179,48 for nForce 610M from www.siliconguide.com/drivers/device/2307/ . (also at /2306/ even file available for GeForce 7000 M).

Simply download the file is a .exe and run it.

Full resolution of 1440 * 900 is now posted and the video plays smoothly.

Note This is a more recent driver version for Windows 7 or Vista 32 times install version 167.49 (7.15.11.6749) available on the Acer support site - this does not work for Windows 8.

Applications and Windows 8 seems to work now in the new interface and desktop modes very well.

The Device Manager shows always "other device" VEN_10DE & DEV_0543 & SUBSYS_01261025 & Rev_A2 as having no driver... always looking for it.

  • Aspire M3985 (win 8) graphics card Question

Hello, my m3985 Aspire with the following standard configuration:
    WINDOWS 8
    Processor Intel Core i7 3770
    nVidia GeForce GT640 4 GB
    1 TB harddrive
    8 GB of DDR3 memory
    DVD-Super Multi drive
    Card reader
    Bluetooth Wireless LAN +.

The problem is if I can change the GT640 my own GTX 750 Ti is in it - can I? Because the GT 640 55 watt TDP and the GTX 750ti is 60 Watt TDP. 5 watt is not much of a difference right? But I am still concerned about the amps of power supply. So what to do ?... There is also a sample file for the manufacture of graphics card...

    As much as I fear.

The data in order to provide for the graphics cards come directly from Nvidia themselves: GT640  GTX 750 Ti

If you're really worried, you can upograde your diet too. Around 500-600watts will be more than enough!

  • Activate the integrated graphics controller (Acer Aspire M3970)

    Hi all

I hope someone is able to tell me if it is possible to activate the graphics controller embedded on the Acer Aspire M3970.
When I bought the pc, there was already an external graphics card in one of the slots. It contains only a HDMI and a DVI port, and the integrated graphics card has the possibility to use a HDMI and VGA port.
I was wondering if it is possible to use both the external graphics card and the integrated graphic card so I can use 2 HDMI ports, the VGA port and DVI port.

I know that most of the BIOS have an option to choose between what graphics card to use, but I can't seem to find it.
I thought I'd find in: BIOS > ADVANCED > Integrated Peripherals, but I don't have options:

    Hi poepsmurf2

As far as I know, you cannot use the graphics card and the edge together. You can buy a card with 2 HDMI or VGA and DVI ports.

    I hope this helps!
