Acer Aspire HD E1 graphics driver - 571-4000

Hello, I tried to update the HD Graphics 4000 driver in my Acer Aspire E1-571 and I'm able to get the latest version of the driver works very well from the Acer support page. However, this driver is almost 3 and a half years now or dates from 2012 with the fact that every time I encounter a problem with a modern game support always telling me to update my drivers. The latest driver from Intel page is perhaps not more than two months. I am aware that the driver must come from the OEM for him to be recognized, but decided to opt for a workaround see if I could update it in any case.

I tried the advice from the support page from Intel to uninstall the driver from Acer and do a fresh reinstall with the latest Intel driver instead, but it does not work. I'm I missed something here, this is really the last version supplied by Acer and would it be possible for Acer to release a newer version. I also checked with people who use an HD Graphics 4000 and they do not seem to meet the same problems I did when using DX11. Which none use Acer laptops.

I finally found the solution, you had reason to propose a system reset but that only highlighted the real problem. It was a combination of issues, hive corrupted corrupted windows installer and interference from program files. I recommend to anyone who tries this correction to create a Windows easy transfer file and backup register and license keys.

First of all, I tried to do a refresh of the system and then install the driver, even though I've updated first he failed and blue screened after the installation of the driver as he had not the necessary DirectX update. The update then worked fine until he hit Security Windows KB2756872 solve this I used a manual installation.

Available to the Update for Windows 8 for x 64 systems (KB2756872) - Microsoft and then select Windows8-RT-KB2756872-x 64.msu (162.8 MB).

After this all updates completed fine, I created my restore points (and a backup just in case restore point) and continued to install the driver manually. It worked the first time after having solved the problems. I use Windows easy transfer to restore all the files and after I re - install my programs, I'll be as good news.

    You may have dropped the HARD drive or memory loose when you dropped it. I open the doors on the bottom and check them. I hope it will be as simple as that.

    What is the exact error message you get associated with Photos app?

    Earlier you got the error code 43 for the device, which means one of the motors controlling the unit notified the operating system that the device has failed in some way. In other words, that there is a possibility of defective material. We tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the device, and then he worked for a while and it stopped working again. Now, I suggest you to check if the same error code is listed in the Device Manager. If she says the same error code means that the device is defective.     This model does not come with dedicated VGA (Nvidia or ATI), there only inbuild Intel HD graphics. If any model acer contain end letter 'G' the name of the model (Eg: E1-572G)  he dedicated VGA.

    I guess you have Intel HD4400 graphics.  The method driver and installation link above will work.

    Questions like this are best asked of the manufacturer of the laptop.  If the video card is integrated into the motherboard, you will probably not be able to replace it, but the manufacturer must have this information.

    My question is:

    What are the maximum size (GB) and speed (MHZ) that supports this laptop? And should I upgrade with two modules of the same size, or can I have 1 module with the maximum allowed size? For example, 2x4gb or 1x8GB?

    In fact, you have 2 sticks of memory 667 MHz. In dual channel, it means to 1333 MHz.

    I bought my Aspire E5 - 511G a few days.

    I have successfully installed Windows 7 Professional (x 64).

    I installed all the drivers downloaded form the support also section successfully.

    The problem is that about every 5 ~ 10 minutes, I get the following message:

    "display driver intel graphics drivers hd for windows 8 (r) stopped responding and has recovered".

    This message itself is not a problem. The problem is that during Skype video calls after receiving this message, I see more or my own video and video of the callee.

    Not only that, restart the call does not correct the problem.

    The only solution is to restart Skype, but it does not work every time.

    I had a similar problem with youtube videos, but I solved the problem by setting NVIDIA as graphics processor preferred for the browser application, but I have no option for Skype.

    Looks like that I managed to solve the problem.

    Firstly, the link you provided was worng. The appropriate driver URL is https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=24329&lang=eng

    As you can see it is the same driver for windows 7/8/8.1-64-bit.

    Second, when I download and install it I get a message that my driver is up to date already (actuall I had other issues but that's another story)

    In a Word, to install it, I did the following:

    1 downloaded the zip of the "win64_153330.zip" driver version

    2 extract the zip file to a folder.

    3. in the windows Device Manager, I uninstalled the graphics driver intel existing HD. So my screen stopped working (which is expected).

    4 restart the laptop, windows loaded with the default VGA driver.

    5. Device Manager open, the crux of the VGA, click right and choose driver update driver.

    6. in the Update Driver Wizard I chose the location of already extracted files (step 2).

    7 installing the driver successfully passed and asked windows to restart.

    Now, after the reboot, I have a Skype has appealed for about 20 minutes and did not get the pilot error.

    Also played some videos youtube - new error now.

    Summary:

    The current version of the driver (of work) is 10.18.10.3958

    The version of the driver provided by Acer's 10.18.10.3621

  • Video driver problem Acer Aspire 5334

    Acer Aspire 5443 of my child worked well for years, and then she "cleaned things" or run Windows update & the problems started with the video.  I could not solve Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit crashing.  The best I after factory default charging system, basic VGA.  As soon as the updates are detected and applied for graphics cards, it flashes to black screen / distorted when Windows opens, then crashes, usually with a message that the adapter detected a problem & recovered - all frozen.  Shows Device Manager two instances of the Mobile Intel(r) 45 Express Chipset Family MS Corp - WDDM 1.1.

    I've updated the bios BIOS v1.06 & vga to v1800, ran Windows Update, try to find/load drivers Intel GMA 4500 m, install the updates to intel chipset, all to the same effect - it crashes.  I delete one instance of the device, same thing.  The only thing that I can do so far is to disable graphics cards.  The latest driver from Acer do not fix it.  What is happening with this?

    I have an Acer Aspire V3 - 771 with two graphics cards and integrated intel 4000 and a 'high performance' GT650m. is it possible to replace the GT650 by a faster? And is it possible to upgrade to an SSD because some versions of this computer comes with one?

    The graph is integrated on the motherboard, so not possible to update.

    The SSD in other models use the mSata SSD style.  You may opt to remove your HDD SATA and installing a 7mm or 9.5 mm HDD SSD you can get relatively cheap computer most online stores.
