Aspire m3802 - Windows Dolby Digital Live - codec ALC888S-VC - 10 64-bit

I have recently upgraded to 64-bit Windows 7 operating system Aspire it M3802 10 64-bit Windows and the Dolby Digital Live feature does not work - it is unable of his test reproduces the Dolby Digital Live 5.1 to my video receiver audio home theater via a fiber cable optical toslink.

I had downloaded and installed the update Windows 10 64-bit Realtek High Definition Audio Codec on their Web site

for the VC ALC888S codec but it still does not solve the problem.

I tried too uninstall the drivers precedents and re - install the latest drivers. The only step I've not tried installs drivers for windows 7 64 bit original.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I disabled the optical audio equipment and removed my vga 15 pin cable and now uses the HDMI.

When I use the HDMI connection, he mainly uses the Intel G43 drivers not drivers Realtek. It's very confusing because the online manual for the Board of Directors is not clear if the Board of Directors for the m3802 uses G43 or ICH10 hardware / software.

I see 7.1 PCM signals to my receiver but the Dolby Home Theater (v3) / Dolby Digital Live doesn't provide a sound surround 7.1 for my music.

The lack of support of WIndows 10 for windows 7 Acer M3802 is very, very disappointing.

Solution: Don't hope for the best when you buy an Acer product.

    Hello...

There seems to be something with the audio driver. The dolby software is included in the audio driver from the factory delivered. To resolve this problem, try reinstalling the audio driver on the laptop. Here are the steps:

Hold the Windows key and then press the C key to open the charms.

Click on search and type "Recovery".

    Click on "Acer Recovery Management.

    Select reinstall drivers or Applications.

Select the content and choose the audio codec and proceed to install it.

In the case where you cannot install this driver, you can go to Device Manager and open "Audio, video and game controllers" and uninstall the driver audio current.

Then follow the steps above to install the audio driver. It will work...

  • Xaudio2 was still set to Dolby Digital?

In Windows XP, xaudio2 correctly uses the Dolby Digital Live output to a surround sound.

This means that you get a 3D Positional sound on your receiver Dolby on games that use the XAudio2 API.
Under Vista / Seven, however, xaudio2 .dll file contains a bug that switches to stereo output.
My question is, how do I get Microsoft to fix this problem?

  • Windows Media Center is unable to output Dolby Digital/DTS via SPDIF... only stereo PCM is sent

    Hello

I recently bought a desktop computer HP Pavilion with Vista Home Premium (64 bit) 5150t.  The PC comes with a TV tuner and it works well with Media Center except that it cannot output Dolby Digital (or the other program on the air with JJ or DVDs of films that have a DD) outside of my A / V receiver.

My Board has Realtek HD Audio and I activated the digital (SPDIF) output in its program.  I put the "Properties" of the digital output in support of * TWO * DTS and Dolby Digital encoding.  When I press the 'Test' button for either format, outside A / V receiver correctly recognizes the format, so the problem is not with my receiver.

Read forums and online help notes, I strongly suspect that the codec MPEG-2 by default for Windows Media Center is not configured correctly for cross DD or DTS - it somehow always stereo down-Mix before sending to SPDIF.  Could you tell me how to check and change codec setting?  Thank you!

    -Colin

    Hi Chow Ho.

This problem occurs because the DirectShow component and audio decoder MPEG2 in Windows Vista does not correctly support DTS pass through S/PDIF or HDMI.

To work around this problem, click to select the box Audio DTS and Dolby Digital check box in the SPDIF Out properties dialog box or the dialog box Properties of HDMI Out .

  • (W520) Dolby Home Theater V4 changed in Dolby Digital Plus after Realtek Audio Driver update of Windows 8.

    Hi guys,.

Recently, I upgraded a W520 at Windows 10 with Dolby installed HT technology. Of course it doesn't work anymore, and the audio is horrible, especially from the internal microphones.

Did someone come up with a way to install the Dolby Digital Plus, on based Conexant Systems? I really need the audio improved to my softphone as soon as POSSIBLE.

    Thank you.

It seems that Peter has removed the files to skydrive. Just install the file DTPC.msi, during the installation make sure "Active content Install" Wizard and "driver installation: DHT (liberation)" and you should be good to go.

And Yes driver signing verification is only temporariliy disabled, and according to your boot options there are different ways to turn it off. I have more than one o/s and I also run bitlocker, so for me, it may be different on your system.

  • Dolby Home Theater/Dolby Digital Plus does not

I have upgraded to Windows 10 last night and I had problems with Dolby sound since then, I have reinstalled several times and followed all the advice that I found here, but my problems exist currently:

    • If I turn on the Dolby Digital Plus sound > playback > properties > Dolby, after a song, or any audio finished playing (goes inactive) it will turn off back
    • Dolby Home Theater (with the equalizer, etc.) does not at all, the spectral Viewer at the top of the application stays off all the time, it enable and disable or change the settings that it does nothing

I have tried many different methods to solve this problem, and I am currently using the latest Realtek/Dolby audio driver from acer (6.0.1.7040 for Windows 8.1) support site.

    I use an Acer Aspire V3 - 571 G, Windows 10 x 64.

    I would appreciate any support.

Dolby Digital Plus a miraculously started working, although it seems very different from the last time that I used it (he was much smaller and said Home Theater rather than Digital Plus) but it's better than nothing.

  • No Dolby Digital 5.1 with AXC - 603 G-UW15

My plan for the AXC - 603 G-UW15 was to use it as a media box. I'm not able to get 5.1 or something other than 2 audio channels on the HDMI. If I turn it on to 5.1 in the sound settings, nothing plays in all... Any ideas?

I thought about it! I just wanted to put the solution to my problem upwards just in case someone else runs into the same problem.

When you perform the configuration of the speakers, 5.1 Surround audio test does not and will not play audio to one of the speakers.

    • The get 5.1 Dolby Digital or DTS passthrough on the HDMI (with KODI/XBMC or Windows Media Center), you must leave the configuration of the stereo speakers.
    • Then, on the Advanced tab of the properties of the device, the two exclusive Modes must be selected
    • KODI or Windows Media Center MUST be in mode full screen (not full screen window)

With the foregoing and content Setup DD5.1 or DTS will cross to the AVR

Hope this helps someone on the road...

  • Confused as to Dolby Digital - 5.1 encoding

I thought the new version of Adobe Media Encoder has been encoding Dolby 5.1 for import in yet, but based on what I've read lately (and live) it seems that it is not - or if she isn't it not to do correctly without buying SurCode (and so I have to bite the bullet and buy that or use compressor in Final Cut Pro, which is always done a great job).

I thought that by creating a mix 5.1 at the hearing, referring to the Premiere Pro and ensuring that all channels are good 'sound field', when I exported using h.264 Bluray I became a true Dolby Digital 5.1. But today was noticed on my last project, the center speaker was completely silent, with the audio (namely vocals) sent to the front speakers (which were supposed to have just Orchestra).  Also was not getting anything in the LFE channel.

But when I use compressor in the Final Cut and assign the channels manually, it created an ac3 5.1 perfectly sliced and realized that plays perfectly and burned in the still on test drive.

So... am I something wrong in sending the audio to Adobe Media Encoder? Or did it create Dolby unless I have buy SurCode (and he previously worked on an experimental basis?).

And if this is the case, should I get SurCode, or just stick with compressor (as the old version of the suite FCP still works... for now... and the upgrade of compressor is cheaper than buying SurCode).

    Thanks for any help/tips

    > and he previously worked on an experimental basis?

As far as I know from reading other messages, you get (something like) 5.1 free five encodes with Media Encoder, then you have to pay

  • First Pro CC, Dolby Digital missing license for MTS / audio AVCHD import?

    Hello

I'm in first Pro CC on Mac 10.8.4 importer MTS files captured on a new camcorder Panasonic of with V720 who recorded MTS / AVCHD files.

When I add my project files or drop them on the timeline, the video looks fine but there is no audio data and I get the warning message:

"This facility doesn't have a license to decode the Dolby Digital audio".

I tried to move from 5.1 to 2 channel audio on the camera where it is the question, without change.

The file plays fine on mac with VLC Player or MPlayer - mplayer's audio decoding with FFmpeg AC-3 codec. I imported the MTS files created with other devices (but probably with different audio codecs) first very well with my current setup.

Any suggestions to get this video and audio working properly?

    Thank you!

    Hello world

I had the same issues. MTS files with the caveat of Dolby. The solution is simple, and it would be wise to Adobe to communicate this more clearly:

Apparently, our institution has got two codes license. In one, you, Premiere pro, but not a full working version! The problems that you all adhere to this code. I also had problems do not output MPEG2. So I went to look further on the net and found this on two license codes... Now, with the new code, I output MPEG2, and I can handle it. MTS files...

I hope that I helped you with that!

  • Photoshop CS6 do not play or process files Audio Dolby Digital (AC-3) of my AVCHD video files.

Photoshop CS6 Extened do not play or process files Audio Dolby Digital (AC-3) of my AVCHD video files. The video plays fine just no sound at all. When processing still no sound. Is there audio codecs (AC-3) I can download and install. How do I install them. Do I need to convert audio files to another format & if so how & what format.

    Thank you

You need to run your files through a conversion as Adobe Media Encoder, or even splice on the audio tool to separate WAV files by opening it up in the hearing. Otherwise, you can of course try as brake conversion tools at hand or MPEGStreamclip but AC3 CoDec trade involving granting licenses fees, there may be limits. Under these conditions, the smart solution is to choose another audio format in your device photo in the first place, is the settings to avoid all these steps, if possible. The AAC standard commonly used for STROKE / H.264 recording or audio MP3 would be much less annoying for further processing.

  • No sound with Dolby Digital and MPEG-2 4:2:2?

    Hello

I tried several times to encode a video file in MPEG-2 using the Media Encoder CS6 with Dolby Digital Stereo audio and with the 4:2:2 profile in the video tab. However, the generated file has no audio on it and reads with just video. Once the 4:2:2 file has been converted to a different format, audio feedback, so I know that there is audio in this file, just for some reason, it won't play back.

    I use Mac OS X v10.7.3 with Media Encoder 6.0.1.31 (CS6), running on 8 GB of RAM, Intel Dual-Core i3, 3.06 GHz.

Also, until someone asks questions about codecs, I was able to read AC3 on my machine, so this isn't the issue. Is it maybe a bug?

Well Yes, the audio is there, but some players may not play.  It seems that the CS6 SOUL that prepares the different audio connector for MPEG2 multiplexed Dolby as SOUL CS5.5 on which there was no question on the same format.  This question was tabled in our bugs and system under investigation for the reason of this change and the solution.
