  Hello, I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite with Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2.  I had been using the option of United States International keyboard, but it has stopped working.  The keys as the "quote mark and the tilde ~ print twice instead of the combination with the next character."  I tried to reinstall the keyboard option, but I still have the same problem.  I don't know when it started so I can't link to a particular Windows Update but I not made any changes to my hardware or installed new programs.  I use the Avira Anti Vir personal.

  I just upgraded my 8520 to 5.0.0.681 and can not find the lock on keyboard anywhere. I used to have assigned it to the left button and it gives me more is this option.

  Your previous lock icon is now only enabled when you have set a password on the device.

  If you have not set a password on the 85xx you can press on and hold the mute (on the upper part of the unit) to lock the keyboard. Or, you can press and hold down the a button * to lock.

  When you set a password, then your icon will return to the screen and is called Password Lock.

• External keyboard options?

  I use a mini keyboard Adesso right now.

  It is the size of the Macbook Air keyboard.

  It is designed for Windows, so there a few different and some of the same keys keys in different places, and I hit some time bad keys. Windows when I want Option, Alt when I want to order, home when I want to delete, etc..

  I have rsi and coordination/proprioception problems, so can only type with one hand and usually all watching this hand. I find that it helps to have a small keyboard and lift the left side, so I can't turn my right arm as much.

  It is true that the Page Up and Page Down are useful keys. My rsi means I can't use scrollwheels or trackballs. My problems of coordination, it is difficult to use narrow Apple scroll bars and means that I have to disable most faucets/gestures to avoid those accidental.

• Sony Vaio SVE14A35CHX keyboard option missing in Vaio Control Center

  I recently did a new install of Windows 8, everything wiped and installed 64-bit Windows 8. I also bought a new keyboard that has backlit keys. I know that the work of backlight, because when I force shut down the computer, just after it stops, the backlight turns on and stays on for a few seconds.

  I downloaded all the necessary drivers, put them on my USB and them installed on the laptop.   I solved it I just give up and ordering a new keyboard. Installed myself. The problem solved itself as if by magic. However, the old keyboard, the backlight works in my friend's computer vaio.

  I have my phone Blackberry Q10 now for 1 month, and since a few days the problem has turned up, randomly Blackberry companion light automatically.   Have you tried pulling the battery for a few minutes?

  If it does not please re install the software via BlackBerry link but make a backup first if you want to keep your data.

  I bought a new Q10 just 3 days ago. I started using the phone just yesterday after the crumbling of the SIM, to realize that the keyboard has 7 defective keys. I went to the store BlackBerry where I bought, and the guy said he'll send it to the centre and wait for them to go back.   Second, I tried to do a search to see if maybe that someone else has not posted this before - can't seem to find it.

  I've recently upgraded to a BB 9360 and with Vodacom in South Africa.

  First thing I did after reception, the phone has been put in place nicely and want TO then change the options of the Mobile network to the network mode from 3G to 2G only, but alas, the only options open to me are 3G & 2 G or 3G.

  What happened to the option for 2G only?

  Now, I'm a paramedic in South Africa and my Bold 9780 battery last an entire shift (12 hours!) but it is with the 2G option ONLY.

  So of course, I want to have this feature on my 9360!

  I can't afford to go out and buy new batteries!

  I did a bit of Googling and found that the option WAS available at some point, but then removed in the latest version which I think my phone is running: 7.1 Bundle 2039 (v7.1.0.714, platform 9.6.0.111)

  Guide me on how to get option 2 G back ASAP please!

  I do not expect to hear the excuse of "dependant network" because Vodacom said it is a problem of Blackberry.
