  I have created a form that should be in version 1.5 or earlier.  I am able to set it that way and save it.  The file shows version 1.5 but when I go to extend the functionality, Acrobat affects version 1.6.  Is there a way to circumvent Acrobat upgrade version 1.6 when the extension?

  Adobe Reader version 6 and earlier does not support this feature. It makes no sense to use PDF version 1.5.

  This is due to the HTML security and the concept of a Client-Server Architecture (which is also linked to security).  This has nothing to do with the APEX.

  If it was possible, then whenever you have seen an advertisement on the web, advertising would 'print a coupon for you' using your personal printer.

  (and coupons that they print are Web-based or a PDF file that you have open, and then click 'Print')

  Now - if employees had a "shared printer" that they could print via centralized print Server ...

  That would be another story.

  Now, if I export to PDF - PDF files created by DC well appear in DC but make very heavily in Acrobat 9 Pro. Files I produce often must be approved to the screen before going offshore for print and from what I can tell, those who did not DC, look for files that have frankly heavy air and rather gross - particularly type that looks like I picked a heavier weight. Essentially, I am worried about getting approved work because what they're looking at her lack of subtlety.

  Acrobat 9 is no more supported by Adobe. So hard to tell how the PDF will look at Acrobat 9.

  However, check the advanced printing using Acrobat | Print PDF settings advanced & preferences look a using Acrobat | File PDF and preferences display to adjust the rendering.

  Have you tried to view the PDF file in Acrobat Reader DC?

  If it works well, you can suggest others to display the file in free Acrobat Reader DC Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution as who is the most recent.
