That means that a picture of resolution 1920 x 1200 appears full screen covering although a 1920 x 1080 image seems letterbox in fullscreen.   This happens usually when the image resolution is high.

  Keep your screen resolution of 1024 x 768 and it should work fine.

  You must create at least two layers while placing the Menu on the master to the top layer in the layers panel and place the slide show full-screen placed on a content page in the second layer (under the layer containing the widget Menu).   When I put the 100% width homepage slideshow and bring it full page at the top of the page, the logo cover upward. Everything is, the tabs and outs flies, but the logo disappears. The only difference is that the logo is a GIF file. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

  The GIF is set to be the top-level object and is pinned to the upper left corner.

  I run XP Pro MS.  When I open MS Paint, the work area white occupies only a little more than a quarter of the total area of work.   The rest is grey and I can't expand the white canvas.

  In Windows XP, by default, the workspace in Microsoft paint is a quarter of the total area of work.

  Try the step to increase the work area in Microsoft paint or Zoom below.

  (a) open Microsoft paint, and then click the view tab.

  (b) later, click on Zoom and then large size or custom size.

  Yes, you should use a similar or identical to your screen resolution, size so if you have a resolution of 1024 x 768 so your photos need to be scanned in / saved to / resized to this size, but a small 3 x 2 "photo scanned and enlarged so that size would look quite pixelated and is often optimized as a small peak with black borders.

  Try both and see which you prefer.

  When I create a slideshow in Lightroom the final photos are very small size despite be enlarged and screen filling when they are built. I'm sure that it should be possible to get somewhere near format full screen. If anyone else has experienced this?

  They are small in the slideshow module in Lightroom or only small in the slideshow exported? In the first case, that means that your images are low resolution (cropped too extreme for example) to be displayed full screen. In the second case, this means that you have exported to a video file of too low resolution (be sure to select the option of 1080 p) or if you export a slideshow pdf make sure you have a high enough resolution to be implemented. Also make sure that the video player or the pdf viewer is called to play the show in full screen.

  you have the fla that created the swf file?

  If so, just copy images from this fla and paste into a new movieclip in your fla slideshow.  Add this movieclip to your timeline.

  the best way to do what you want (but not the most flexible/changeable) would be to add each slide a key frame to its own layer.  It is a design decision, but start with keyframes at 1, 11, 21 etc.

  With the help of 4.3 LR, I export a slideshow as a PDF.  Even though I disabled the transitions in LR, the transitions automatically start full screen mode in Acrobat X.

  Yes, because Acrobat has its own parameters of transition which have priority over the settings in Lr.

  This will happen if the dimensions in pixels of the pictures
  is less than the display resolution in display properties.
  (Start / Control Panel / display / settings tab)

  Example... If your photos are 640 x 480 and your screen
  the resolution is 1024 x 768... the photos will be not fill the screen
  When displayed in the viewer of WP & F.

  If you resize the photos and increase the size in pixels
  to the same or a larger size than your screen resolution...
  they will be displayed full screen.

  (Beware... pictures low resolution may appear blurry/pixelated)
  When it is maximized).

  Also... to consider... photos in Portrait orientation will never
  be full screen unless they are grown in landscape orientation.
