Assignment of names manually in ASM files

Version of grid infrastructure: 11.2.0.4

RDBMS Version: 11.2.0.4

When you have an ASM filesystem, you can add a file of data using Method1 or methode2 below.

Name the files manually using the method 1 (non - OMF) is not recommended. But I don't remember why? Anyone know?

-Method1 (non - OMF)

ALTER TABLESPACE CSE_TBS add DATAFILE '+ UIM_DATA/eimprod/datafile/cse_tbs_03.dbf' size 10g autoextend on next 100 m MAXSIZE 32767 m;

-Methode2 (OMF leaving decide the file naming)

ALTER TABLESPACE CSE_TBS add DATAFILE '+ UIM_DATA' size 10g autoextend on next 100 m MAXSIZE 32767 m;

ASM starts is only designed to manage Oracle data files. Whether or not, you use OMF ASM knows Oracle databases and put in the right place including the optimum settings for the distribution and duplication, without worrying. When you specify the name of the data file, ASM will always create a data using OMF file, but it will create an additional ALIAS according to the name you specified. I'm not sure if not using OMF is really recommended, but it can really be any advantage and quite confusing.

I am currently manually rename each form field after duplication - a tedious process. Is there a way to automatically assign unique names to the forms? I have a shell script which is run via cron once a week.  Of course, you need to change the location of the trace and audit files.  This script will remove all files .trc and .trm more than 10 days

An easy way to check the registrations to the ASM file is through the asmcmd - command line utility. For example

    ASMCMD [+] > ls -sl grid1/dev-cluster/ocrfile
Type Redund Striped Time Sys Block_Size Blocks Bytes Space Name

In the Photos of El Capitan how to record a double published in a separate with its own name and the ID file file?

Only by exporting - with Photos (and iPhoto and Aperture) - you can have several versions of an image by duplicating the image (control - D), but this does not create an image file separated until you export - it creates a separate edit list in the database that applies to the original when you watch or export the photos

Photos as it were its predecessors is a non-destructive control Digital Asset Manager (DAM) which does not any changes to files in the database but built a list of validation

  • my computer won't let me change the name of my images / files

I race 2007 on my PC with windows XP, home when I try to rename my pictures or records what happens with if you go ahead and change the name of the folder/file/photo will be, how to fix it. Thank you

    Hi horseygal,

I think that what is happening because you also delete the file from the file extension.

For example, you have an image file named "image.jpg" and you rename to 'image' ".jpg" is deleted which means that the file will lose its connection with the program, which is designed to open it.

You can hide the file extensions by:

    1. Select start > my computer
    2. click on tools > Folder Options
    3. go to the view tab and check "Hide extension for known file types".
    4. click on OK

There seems to be a lot of discussion on this issue.  I tired some of the patches, but some of my numbers seem different from what other people have.  The problem is on my laptop.  I try to connect to my router and have internet access.  My office is a new computer with Windows 7 installed.

    Hey Kevin,

You will need to run the command above in the elevated command prompt.

Refer to this step help: How to run a command with elevated privileges?

After you run the command of high fashion, you should get the message, "" DLLRegisterServer in wmp.dll managed."

Also, you can run the method 2 regardless of the success or failure of the method 1. Please try these methods first and see how it goes.

Normally, it is appropriate to fix this problem by running SFC scan and you would not need to copy the file.

    Kind regards

  • Is there a way to change the names of folders in waiting lists without changing the name of the original file?

    Hello

I was curious to know if there was a way I could change the name of a folder on my list of added items leaving the name of the original file untouched. I work in an accounting firm that shares all of our records on a single server, and we can't rename an any of them like all the world has its own shortcuts and what not on their individual computers. For example, some of our files are separated into folders by file type, exercises and billing periods, like this:

    Billing applications

    EXERCISE 14-15

    Period 1

    Digitized invoice copies

    EXERCISE 14-15

    Period 1

If I have two folders period 1 has performed the fallen on my desk, they are both the same labeled, but I would like to I know not what specific folder, I work in rename them. Is there a way I can rename the folder on my list of items added on my desktop without changing the name of the file in its original location? I know that I can hover over the name of the folder to get the exact location of the file, but when I work quickly, it becomes a bit cumbersome to do this for every file, especially when I need to have several folders (at least 10) pinned.

    Thank you!

    Hello

You can create the path of the shortcut for them and name it as you want.

  • Why the possibility to manually sort the files in folders has been deleted?

Why have removed the ability to manually sort the files and folders? Having the ability to rearrange the files and folders is common sense and the need in some of my work. This removed feature cost me an hour or two of extra work that week you can reorganize all links/shortcuts in any order they wish, but to actually move files and folders around is more can be made. I would never have bought Windows 7 if I knew took it this feature away from me.

    Hi bcwups

Whenever you ask the question 'why', the only possible answers you will get on a support forum are just speculation or conjecture.

The only people who can answer the question are people who take design decisions, and they don't usually respond to questions here.

If you wish to submit your comments and thoughts on the design of Windows 7, you can use the following online feedback form.

Windows 7 comments - talk us at Microsoft

There are places you can go to get some insights into the 'why' of individual decisions are made. Many Microsoft Windows developers have their own blogs where they publish articles that are sometimes very transparent and revealing. Here is a link to the parent for these items.

    Home - MSDN Articles

Another good resource is the blog that Windows developers used during the beta of Windows 7. If you look at the archived articles, (more than 60) they described the 'why' of a large number of features that have been changed/added/removed from Windows 7.

    I hope this helps.

I found the solution. I used the wrong column with a value constant and later used burst (deliver and divide by this column). Useful: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/bi.1111/e18862/T527073T555155.htm https://community.oracle.com/thread/606864?tstart=0
