Associates file icon showing an incorrect icon and a lack in functional terms in quick menu

I have a windows system 7 and I use SolidEdge a reason any all the files associated with the *.asm program files IE get an empty note with a right corner folded, the file opens in the right program but quick menu (right click on the file) does not give me the full options, how do I put it to give me the full functions and show the correct icon

Hello

Open your ASM file is to double-click it. This allows the intelligence of windows to decide the correct application to open your ASM file.

In case your ASM file does not open, it is likely that you don't have the software installed on your PC to view or modify the ASM file extensions.

If your PC opens the ASM file, but it's the wrong application, you need to change your Windows registry file association settings. In other words, Windows is associated ASM file with the wrong software extensions.

Your system registry may have infected, I suggest you run the registry cleaner to fix

  • Why do I get a file icon and an icon of Firefox when I save a Web site on my desktop?

Every time I have save a Web site on my desktop, I usually get two icons that appear on my desktop. One of the icons is the link to the website that the other is a full record of a bunch of files that I don't recognize. If I delete the file folder icon website icon deletes as well. I have not had this problem before until recently.

Is there a way to save the site on my desktop without the icon files showing?
    It really clutters things upward.

    I use Windows 7.

    Thank you

    Hey Brad,

When you click Save Page as... under where you enter the name of the file, there is a drop-down menu 'Save as Type' - change this to us Page, HTML only

However the "folder" that you mentioned contains all the images and things off the web page. If you save only the HTML code, then images will disappear from the page when it is removed from the server.

If you want to save everything in a single file, you can try something like CutePDF

Or maybe this addon https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire.../save-as-pdf/ (I've never used myself well.)

Let me know if that answers your question.

    Thank you Vicki

    Hi Rachel,

    Thanks for your help.

I tried it & it didn't work but I was checking other messages on media players & I found this.

    Uninstall the Media Player

    Step 1

    Uninstalling Windows Media Player:
    1. go to start and in the search type "Turn Windows willing or not.
    2. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
    3. browse the features of media (develop) and uncheck the brand in the face of Windows Media Player.
    4 restart the computer

    Step 2

    Reinstall Windows Media Player:
    1. go to start and in the search type "Turn Windows willing or not.
    2. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
    3. browse the features of media (develop) and place a check mark in front of the Windows Media Player.
    4 restart the computer.

I've tried it & it worked. Initially, there was no change so I've let it go & 10 min later that everything was back to normal. It must have reset the media player. I wish I could find this post once again to thank :)

  • Ribbon icon and icon overview do not appear

    Msg edited

I followed the thread of spookendiesel and articles related but cannot get this to work. No icon appears on the home screen, just the default icons. The app does not throw any exceptions or errors. Everything works as expected, except the icons of reversal and the Ribbon is not displayed.

My development environment is Eclipse 3.4.2 with Blackberry JDE for the eclipse.

In summary, I created a 'main' project (RolloverIcon) that displays a screen with the title by a LabelField. This project includes a res folder that contains the overview icon (iconFocus48x36.png). I added the res folder on the way of the construction. I put the properties of the project at the request of CLDC, module system, autorun at startup feature.

Then, I created a new project in the same workspace called AltEntryRolloverIcon. This project includes a folder that contains the ribbon icon (icon48x36.png), but no code source. I put the project properties of Entry Point of CLDC Application replacement pointed to the RolloverIcon project with the main "gui" argument In the tab "resources" of the properties of the project of Blackberry, I added icon Ribbon as a file icon and made sure its containing folder is on the java build path.

As far as I know, I followed all directions to implement an icon of overflight and the other entry point. I don't know what else to do. I don't have the skills necessary to interpret the raw project files and to understand the problem. I am including information as much information that I see here in the hope that someone sees something obvious to solve this problem.

    Thanks in advance.

Icons on the desktop are normally shortcuts - pointers to programs or
data files, not programs or data files themselves (the small
arrow indicates this is a shortcut). Deleting a shortcut has not
effect on the file it points to-he will always be there.

  • Questions of miniatures, files show icon and no thumbnails

Original title: QUESTIONS MINIATURES - FILES SHOW ICON AND NOT of THUMBNAILS

I need help to solve my problem with my file which contains (obtained from the internet) RealPlayer flv videos. A few days ago I could see thumbnails when I opened the folder where each element has shown the thumbnail. Now, I see is the icon of Realplayer R. So far, I performed the following action points: 1 never ran a FULL scan - no threats 2. conducted a scan of the registry and corrected all errors 3. Open the folder and I clicked on 'folder and search options', clicked the view tab and make sure the "Always" display icons never thumbnails was NOT checked 4. in Control Panel, select system, select Advanced setting of the system, select performance setting, provided "always show icons never thumbnails" was hot checked 5. has run c:sfc / scannow - found no issues or problems 6. I tried c:regsvr32 shmedia.dll - he did not recognize. 7. do you have a disk cleanup - did not help 8. went on the Panel, clicked on the Option to record, made sure "Always - miniature" was not checked - has not helped. I can sure use the help because I ran out of options. I can open RealPlayer will display the icon on my desktop and thumbnails. My operating system is Vista Home Premium 32-bit. Thank you

    Diana,

Thank you for having responded to my problem with thumbnail. I tried with a new user account, and the issue exist yet - NO single miniature icon. Any other thoughts or recommendations?

I just fixed my problem - I went to the internet and connected to RealPlayer.com and download their latest version. IT WORKED! Everything is back to normal.

    Hi team,

The network drive that I drew in my computer using my profile isn't allowing me to access.

The network drive icon shows as a folder icon and it says access denied even if I have the permissions to access the file on the server.

The server we use is the exchange Server 2003.

But I am able to access the files inside the drive using the Option RUN as well as Address bar in my computer.

And I am able to access the folder on the server without any problem.

The operating system I use is Windows XP.

But it worked for someone else, when I deleted a file named autorun.inf in the folder of the shared drive on the server!

Could you please tell me what is autorun.inf and he really causes this problem in the drive on the server or is there any other reason.

Thanks in advance for the help.

  • So how do you REALLY just toolbar buttons show the icons (and not text)?

On my bookmarks toolbar, my favorites 'buttons' display the icon AND text. I want to just display the icon, no text. When I right click, customize, the "Customize toolbar" window opens. Down in the lower left corner the drop of the "show" option is already set to "icons" (and only the icons). But it's just not so. The toolbar buttons display icons AND text. If I scroll through the drop-down list just for fun, it doesn't change. I choose "icons (only)" all day, but the toolbar buttons always display text.

Hello dotdot, try the other, right-click on a bookmark and select Properties, and then clear the name of the bookmark and save it.
