  WebWorks, it's all pretty easy, but because of differences in the config.xml file, you need different versions for different devices (mess me all the time)

  With the help of other languages is much more difficult that you need different base code for everything

  OS5-7 = Java

  PB = AIR

  BB10 = NDK / Cascades

  It is important that a GMaps app - basically - has the support of 5th place (although 5 has problems rendering and is terrible @ AJAX)

  According to the specifications of the computer laptop your machine was shipped with preinstalled Windows 7 64 bit and this original recovery image contains all the necessary drivers, including the driver of USB 3.0.

  The question is: what did you do exactly? Did you install original version of the OS that you got with your machine or clean version of Windows and which one.

• Development of applications for musicians - noob

  I think to try my hand at writing applications for musicians to the BB10 / Playbook platform.  I have some experience programming in the (distant) past, mostly in C++ and a bit of Java.  I've never coded for a mobile platform really (except a little bit when I worked at RIM, more than 10 years ago).  Some of the questions asked by a Noob:

  (1) for this type of application (apps for musicians that can play music notes), which is the best environment - Native C/C++ or Java?  The two are all too appropriate or all? Which is easier?

  (2) is the Blackberry Playbook OS 10 have something like a wave table integrated with an API that developers can use to play musical notes with a variety of instrument sounds, or my apps will include audio samples for all these?

  (3) is it a total noob-guide for beginners start writing applications type "hello-world" simple for BB10/playbook, and that perhaps relieve the reader in the different APIs?

  The answer to your questions, it's that you're in the wrong place.  BlackBerry Java is not supported on BB10/Playbook, unless of course you are porting an Android Application.  If you really have no choice, you have to write on a platform supported by BB10/Playbook.  You have choice of

  WebWorks - i.e. the HTML and Javascript

  Adobe Air

  Native C++ code.

  I try to install on a PC with a clean 750 Gig drive Win7 Pro.  It starts during a boot of the computer it starts on a CD.  It is the Win7 Pro DVD .iso image.
  It starts with the installation very well until I get a may appear indicating installation to a USB/DVD Driver needs and wants to get him.
  The DVD is a Sony DRU810A.  There is no driver for this DVD.  In fact, on their website they stipulates expressly that he didn't need a driver.  Now THAT?

  Win7 32 bit.  I also went to Sony and got on the live chat with them... the gal he says there isn't a newer version of the firmware that I have and to the extent where the driver, they use the standard XP driver and it didn't need a separate so driver...
  I reminded Corp and they burned a new copy of the CD-DVD for me.  Of course the download from the server just won't cut it.  I read in some places that burn the CD at a speed too fast can be a problem.  A person has recommended that burn at 4 x at 6 x speed.  Another person said when they used an older DVD installation work, but with the new ROM disks, it would be a problem.
  It sounds like back in the days XP where there are specific problems with hardware and software compatibilities for sure.
  I should be able to simply insert the ROM and go, but that has not happened.

  What operating system is preinstalled on your laptop? I assume that the Os is not preinstalled with original recovery image. Can you give us more information on this subject?
