ATI Radeon 9250 PCI 256 MB of diamond graphics card driver incompatibility

ATI Radeon 9250 PCI 128 bit 256 MB DDR graphics card

==============================================================================================================================

I have this card installed on my desktop PC, it's Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, without a driver, it is standerd VGA display. However to test, what I've done is put the disc that came with the graphics card, looked for the graphics card ATI Radeon Catalyst configuration, then went to properties on it and set it to 32-bit of Windows XP and installed compatibility mode, but he wouldn't let not Catalyst Control Center start no matter what I tried , but he did install normally, also installed the pilot display and is the main display now, but when you restart the PC I get a blue screen that disappears in 2 seconds then stops, and you only have to start Windows normally then.

Reason, you should switch to compatibility mode for installation is because the graphics card is not compatible DirectX 11, but instead, 8.1 or same 9.0 c, which is Windows XP, of course, so it would be best to go back to Windows XP and have all the features of this graphics card or a newer get one that is no longer compatible with Windows 7 because it just does not work except if you want to use the method that I just explained before =)

Good luck

Hello

ATI Radeon 9250 graphics card is not compatible with the Windows 7 operating system. Since you've already tried to install in compatibility mode, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer for assistance.

You can also see the following article on how to install the ATI drivers.

By the Windows 7 Compatibility Center, the ATI Radeon 9250 DDR is compatible for both 32 and 64-bit Windows 7 with no additional downloads.

I was just curious to know if I could install this 'Radeon 9250 128 MB DDR (64-bit) video card"who collects dust for a long time in my old computer Compaq Presario SR1950NX I bought in 2006.

I'm unable to locate these updates on the Toshiba site. Nobody knows where and how I can get this update?

I put t think that the graphics driver has something to do with this action.

What applications did you use? How did you exactly connected the external device? Did you get any error messages?

Just for the info: I used last time on my laptop the driver from the Omega.net Web site. But on the Toshiba site I found a news that Toshiba recommended to use only the Toshiba drivers graphics and different drivers, you can install it at your own risk!

  • How to upgrade my ATI HD2600 graphics card driver?

But how exactly do I do this? I first have to uninstall my old ati driver or can - I have just install them on it?

Overinstall just the driver, it does not matter what version you have installed just run the installer and install the driver. Regarding the BIOS just do the same thing, but don t have other applications that are running during the update of the BIOS.

    Hello

I can't update my laptop Satellite L550-PSLW8E-01E00NGR display driver. This is an ATI Radeon HD 4650.
The current version of the driver is 17.08.2009. I tried to update the driver from toshiba, hp, but it the driver is too much since 2009.

And the update of AMD is just the graphics card ATI catalyst SW.
There is no option to update the driver with this SW.

Is there another possibility to update the driver.
I don't know that there is a new version in 2009.

    Thanks for help.

    Hello

If you want to update or install the driver not Toshiba graphics card, you will need to do it in the Device Manager.
There you can choose to update driver and can point to the location where you saved the ATI driver.
This will help to force windows select this driver.

But note; These drivers don't support, overheat protection, which means that in the worst case your GPU could overheat

  • Card ATI Radeon 4570 - NO SOUND in my monitor: Please help!

    Hello

I use Sony Vaio NW160 and have been using my HDMI cable to connect to my samsung TV and it works fine.
I bought a new monitor (LG 235V) HDMI... and I am unable to get any video sound is fine. I currently have Windows Vista.
    1. the HDMI cable is fine as I tested it with my TV again
    2. the port monitor works great as my other laptop with HDMI out works fine with this monitor.
    3. the current driver ATI Radeon 4570. I tried the upgrade of the driver by using the Device Manager but I received a message saying that it is up-to-date.
I don't see any support site that talks about information about updated drivers.
Help, please! Thank you in advance!

You have HDMI on the list:

    Start-> Control Panel-> Sound-> reading tab?

If Yes, is it defined as default playback device (must be).

Try to download and install the latest graphics driver package from the manufacturer of your PC or, Alternatively, than ATi/AMD (rather than using the Device Manager directly to day).

  • Reference Dell E6540 - ATI Radeon HD 8790 M does not appear in the BIOS

    Hello

I have a Dell E6540, which, according to the data sheet must have a graphics card than ATI Radeon HD 8790 M. but looking in the BIOS, there is no entry in addition to the dedicated graphics card Intel 4600.

I have the latest version of the BIOS and the latest graphics card driver. I am using 8.1 Windows 64 bit.

Please let me know if I need to do something else to make it the primary video controller.

Also, is it possible to see if the graphics card is "there"? I think that if it does not show in the BIOS menu, either is missing or broken.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you
    Teo

There are two ways to create a mobile video hybrid:

1 hardware control - with a multiplexer equipment

2 control software, where only the GPU from Intel is hard wired to the display and the secondary GPU is used as a coprocessor.

Your system is of type 2.  It is not a true independent GPU - this is a coprocessor for the Intel's GPU, fully controlled by software and drivers.  To use the AMD GPU, choose using the Catalyst Control Center under Windows.

The AMD GPU can never primary rendering on this system: it's a secondary GPU by design.

Hello Ali kazemlo thank you for you question on the Microsoft Community.

I understand you are trying to install a new graphics driver for you're amd/Ati graphics device.

First of all, make sure that Windows 8 has all the updates that are installed that have been published to Microsoft open this link and let it check for updates, if updates are shown, install all updates and continue to check new updates until none appear, once you have done this test and reinstall the graphics driver.

  • Linux driver for ATI Radeon HD 8000 M

    I bought a DELL Inspiron 15R (5521) with ATI Radeon HD 8730 M (2 GB).

It comes preinstalled with Ubuntu 12.04LTS. I changed to Linux Mint Debian Edition 2013.

I discovered that DELL driver for 5521 page does not offer driver linux. And also AMD does not provide linux driver HD 8000 series M. their beta version 13.4 Linux driver does not support the series 8000 M HD.

Where can I find linux for the graphics card driver?

You might not like the answer - there is no driver.  Switchable graphics is a Windows technology.  No doubt someone will come eventually with drivers that work with other systems operating, but nVidia and AMD support ONLY windows Vista, 7 and 8 with the graphics switching technology.

Dell supports only Ubuntu and ONLY on systems with Intel video (NOT switching) graphics.  You SHOULD be able to use Intel video drivers on your system (check with the Publisher of the distribution), but you will NOT be able to use the AMD GPU on your system with anything other than windows.

  • retina iMac 5K AMD Radeon graphics card will be a problem for first Pro CC and AE?

So far, I had no problem all editing of images 4K scaled down in 1080 p timelines in Adobe first Pro CC on my 2012 iMac i7 with these specs:

    iMac i7.png

Now I am considering upgrading to the iMac 5 K retina with the following maximum out-of-specs:

    Retina iMac 5K.png

    • I will be maxing out the DDR3 RAM 32 GB with third-party RAM sticks, probably OWC.

But I read in various forums that even the iMac of retina 5K upgrade AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4 GB memory GDDR5 graphics card would not be able to handle video editing in Premiere Pro or AE CC effects. That would require an NVIDIA card that Apple chose to end their 5 K retina iMac.  I guess that I can't understand how a 2014 maxed out retina 5K iMac would not at least as powerful as a 2012 iMac i7.

As I use programs Adobe CC to my creative work, I don't want to upgrade to an iMac that can't handle 4 K editing in a 1080 p timeline just because of a change in graphics cards.

What are your thoughts? Anyone working in first Pro CC in view of the retina of the iMac?

Yes, I did. Used for months and it works great

  • XC-605 and ATI RADEON HD 3450 PCIe x 16 DMS - 59 S-VIDEO 256 MB low pr

    Hey people,

I recently bought a XC605 and tried to install a PCIe ATI RADEON HD 3450 graphics card. Unfortunately it does not work. I already read a few items here in the forum, but they do not solve my problem. The card works fine in other machines. I also tried the card with a different (higher) power in the XC605, the problem remains the same.

The problem is that if the system starts with the new installed card, I don't get no video on any location VGA. I already checked the BIOS twice, but there is no switch, which could solve the problem.

    Any help is appreciated.

    See you soon,.

I just fixed the problem. An update of the bios was necessary.
