Attach images to an email via «Fotos»

Hi all

I use Outlook for Mac 2011 and want to join 'Fotos' photos to an e-mail message.

Whenever I click the button to join my e-mail address, however, the Finder offers just me the iPhoto for the selection of photos folder. As I went to "Fotos" iPhoto a few months ago, I would like to attach the photos of the latter. Yet, the Finder doesn't offer show me the "Photos" folder for the selection of photos. I can not find it.

Any ideas how I can make the folder visible "Fotos" for the selection of photos for my emails?

I hope you can help me.

Best,

Jens

AFAIK pictures is a Google cloud service and store your photos online. There was therefore no 'Fotos' record to find. Near as I can tell that you would open the page Google Photos, select the photo you want, download it, and then attach it. Or just paste the link of the Image. Or find the folder in which the photo was originally.

How to save a photo to an email? When I hold down the image, the only option is to 'copy '; There is no 'Save' function available.

    Hey Lucent,

Thanks for posting your query in the Forums RT in Microsoft Windows. If I understand you correctly, you have a problem with saving an image with the mail application. I understand that it must be frustrating, but don't worry, we are here to help solve your problem and guide you in the right direction.

In the Mail application, you wouldn't be able to do differently than the option to right click functions. The dialog box you get with the "save image under" comes to a browser. If you use Internet Explorer to check email, you'll get the option to click with the right button on a photo. In the Mail app if you want to download an image that was attached to the email, you can click on the picture to download and click it a second time to get the options to open or save.

My money is on a server problem that will clear up on its own, but you can try a few things to eliminate that he's on your side.

1: Disable the analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program.  It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:
    http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

Why you don't need your anti-virus to scan your email
    http://thundercloud.NET/infoave/tutorials/email-scanning/index.htm

Note that for many AV programs, it may be necessary to uninstall the program and reinstall in custom Mode and uncheck e-mail scanning when the option is available.

2: Create a new sent items and Outbox.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

  • Try to attach photos to an email on Hotmail, but when I open the file, they were put in alphabetical order, and not chronological order I want. Can I change this?

Hello.   I'm trying to attach photos to an email on Hotmail.  When I open the folder where I want to download the pictures, they are all placed alphabetically.  I want to arrange them in the order, they were taken, which I can do by going in "My pictures", but when I pull the file upwards again in Hotmail, they are given in alphabetical order.  Any ideas?

    Hello Oilfan,

Thank you for your message.  Since there are two ways to attach photos in Hotmail, I assume you are using the 'Attach' > 'File' version instead of "attach" > version "Photo".  To sort the folder to your liking, you can click right in the pane where you see your files > Highlight ' rearrange icons by "> select" Photos taken we.

Here are two ways to restore the saved messages:

Step 1: Before you start Windows Mail, copy the folder saved in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows mail storage folder.

Step 2: Start Windows Mail and import messages in the backup storage folder.

  • Cannot open jpeg images in my email. They are deformed with a grey block.

Cannot open jpeg images in my email.  They are deformed with a grey block. I see only a tiny portion of the upper part of the image.  Tried to save the image on my disk hard but could not be opened.  For example: If the size of the image, I'm saving about 800 K, I'll save the image (that I can not open) in a folder on my hard drive.  When I check the properties of the image, it is much smaller, around 8 or 9 K.  Spent an hour on the phone with HP, but couldn't find a solution.  When starting my computer in Mode without fail and go to my email account, I can see the full image.  Would appreciate suggestions in deca a system recovery.  Thank you

    Larry D.

    Hi Larry,

Cannot open any jpeg full image. I'll help you with this problem.

    1. have you made changes on the computer recently?

    2. what security software is installed on the computer?

    3. are you able to open any image with other file extensions?

    4. what application you use to open the images?

As you can see the full image in safe mode, let's try the following steps.

    Method 1.

A clean boot to test if any element of service or third party application startup is causing this issue.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: Once you have finished troubleshooting, follow step 3 in the article to start on normal startup.

    Method 2.

You can also try disabling the firewall and check if that helps.

Turn the firewall on or off Windows: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

Note: You should not turn off Windows Firewall unless you have another firewall enabled. Turning off Windows Firewall may make your computer (and your network, if you have one) more vulnerable to damage caused by worms or hackers.

    Method 3.

You can run the Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that the computer is virus-free.

    Microsoft safety scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Warning of Security Scanner: there could be a loss of data while performing an analysis using the Microsoft safety scanner to eliminate viruses as appropriate.

    I hope this helps.

  • Link attached Image can not file in a text inside PDF file

Hello friends, I have a problem, I played all day and couldn't solve it (can't believe that Acrobat DC can fill or fix this task).

So my problem is: (I'll describe what I want to do).

I created a PDF (just for testing purposes) with texts of the sample inside "Text 1, text 2, text 3"

Then set 3 images 'Image 1, Image 2, Image 3' and a ' Test PDF Board of seizure, while page is OK, but started here my problem. "

I couldn't make link for these attached image files (there is neither option nor choice).

I needed to link the picture 1 of the attachment to a 'text 1', but it is impossible... (I can link the PDF from attachments without any problem)

While playing, I found something like solution (but is not a solution), I found comments and it tool, I managed to attach an image...

While do how can I link a picture files to a text in the PDF document (as it does with PDFs).

Is this Bug Acrobat or just doesn't have this feature?

    Thank you in advanced!

In fact, it can be done, but it is unnecessarily complicated. You must use a JavaScript to do it, like this:

    this.exportDataObject ({cName: "NameOfImage.jpg", nLaunch: 2});

Simply adjust the name of the image used in your document file and it should work.
