Attach to lightroom

Hi there I have upgraded my iMac to my macbook pro and EL CAPITAN, but now I can't tie up with my Nikon D610, everything was ok until I place as of the, apple said it is software lightroom is this true and what I can do about it thank you.

If you pay monthly AND you have a computer that supports the new versions you should already have Lr CC2015.6.1 (the rental of Lr6 version) and Photoshop CC2015.5.1 or should update their.

How lightroom has been updated to add new cameras to attach? I recently got a canon 1300 d and shoot like he tethered and it does not work all on... how long until this?

Attach the support in Lightroom depends on support from the manufacturer (Canon) SDK (Software Development Kit). Once the Canon supports a camera in their SDK is normally one or two versions of Lightroom before the help is integrated. If Canon today adds to their SDK, Lightroom 6.6 or 6.7 would be expected.

Have you checked with Canon to see if or when they will add to their SDK?

  • Attached in Lightroom 2015.3 produces enormous delays in the transfer of image

I turned to a concert last night and because client that I needed to perform impressions during the event, chose to use Lightroom attach to my MacBook Pro to get the images in Lightroom, because they were shot.  Repeatedly during the evening, the camera seemed to lock up and the lamp of data transfer was on for minutes at a time.  I see delays of a few minutes before the captured images would get to Lightroom, and then after waiting a while, things would be back to normal.  Then in a short time, everything would be bogged down again.  By stopping the attachment, the issue disappeared completely and I could only shoot the required event.  A break, I tried to tie up again and the same problem occurs very quickly.  In my tests before shoot, home seemed to work, but I did not test the volume that require the event (3 images every minute and a half).

In the past, attach lose connection randomly but the connection remained all the time, however huge delays in fact transfer the strap works more an argument than a boon.  Others have experienced this with Lightroom 2015.3?  The environment was very simple.  1Dx cannon with a strap tools cable for MacBook Pro running El Capitan and Lightroom 2015.3

Any advice will be appreciated.  Earlier in the week, I had made a similar shooting using Canon native tethering tool and never had these problems and was running at a much higher pace, using the same physical hardware.

  • Attachment issues Nikon D7100 using Lightroom 5.7.1

I tried everything but can't seem to get my Nikon D7100 to tie with Lightroom 5.7.1.

According to list of Adobe of cameras that can be attached to Lightroom (https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/tethered-camera-support.html), any version above Lightroom 5.2 is expected to tie up with the D7100.  (I use 5.7.1 so I thought it should be good.)

I did the software updates, updates of firmware, uninstalled and reinstalled but still I get the message "no camera detected".

As a test to make sure that the problem was not related to a defect of the camera or cable, I tried to attach the camera using Nikon's Camera Control Pro 2 and while the software meets my needs, in the same way that Lightroom do... She recognizes that the camera and the attachment worked well.

I wish I could use my Nikon D7100 with my Lightroom 5.7.1 software and would be grateful for any help that you could provide.

    Thank you

If you use Apple OS X 10.11. ? (El Capitan) that the strap will probably NEVER work with your Nikon and Lightroom.  Nikon beat attached in El Capitan, then you will need to update the 6 Lightroom.

  • tie with an older version of lightroom

    Hey guys...

I am a photographer who needs to tie it during a shooting.  I have the latest version of lightroom and photoshop on my desktop computer, but in the field, I'm using an older macbook pro with lightroom 3 is installed. I throw the 10 BEEF, 10.11.02 version, I'm shooting with the 5 d Mark 2.  According to adobe, the two camera and LR version are compatible, however, lightroom gives me a message that it does not recognize my camera.  There is some level of communication happening, because my camera tells me it is "busy".  I can set up a tethering file naming convention, but that's where it stops.  any ideas?

your help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Donna V.

If you are on Mac OS X 10.11 you can only shoot attached with Lightroom 2015.5/6.4 or more. Older versions no longer work due to a change in the functioning of the operating system that has been done with Mac OS X 10.11.

  • Lightroom, officers shot and Canon 350 d Digital

    Hello

I am designer of jewelry and I try to take some pictures of my work.

I want to attach my Canon Digital 350 d to Lightroom, so I can easily see my photos on a large format without having to constantly plug and unplug my camera to my computer.

I have real problems get Lightroom to recognize that my camera is fixed. I checked that my camera is supported and the internet seems to suggest that it is.

Can someone help me? My lack of knowledge of the camera and the computer makes me want to throw it all out of the window! I can't find a set of infallible step by step instructions on how to connect the camera to the software. and here, I've noticed that a lot of people just get directed to the troubleshooting provided by Adobe, but this page is has not helped me so far.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I lost all day to tinker without result

    Thank you

    Rachel

If you are referring to this page you receive all the necessary information on the attachment.  Adobe documentation on this page for the attachment has become essentially worthless.

Look at this page and you will see your camera support has been removed after Lightroom 4.1 (that's the legacy link)

Is this a relatively new release of the camera? It is not on the list of supported models. You may need to wait for the next update of LR.
