Attempt to send e-mail (e-mail Postbox Windows) from Acrobat DC returns an error message "Error during the creation of message"?

I seem to have all the information to my email (ports / passwords / etc) correctly in my Acrobat "preferences / e-mail accounts ' and when I 'Attach to Email' in the 'File' menu, it returns this error.  Maybe it's a 'post box' (email program) or a problem with Acrobat?

Help please!

Craig

Hey Craig,.

Remove your under preferences-> e-mail accounts e-mail account.

Then try to send the email using Acrobat DC, let it search automatically e-mail account & the port number.

I would like to know if it works.

Kind regards

Nicos

Upgrade Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit for Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.  The option to send to the recipient of the message is missing the locations on the desktop.  I move and click with the right button to review the entire list.  I use Windows Live Mail.  I can send the document by attaching it in Windows Live Mail.  The option to right click and send to mail recipient was present for a few days after the upgrade.

Thank you for your response.  I used the SHIFT key and right-click on the element I want to e-mail.  There are 20 places but no envelope.  I don't reinstall Windows Mail still no envelope.  Mircosoft Support created a shortcut on the desktop and added the envelope icon.

  • Error number: 0x800CCC0E in Windows Mail on the attempt to send email following October 2013 automatic Windows update

Immediately following October 10, 2013 Windows Vista update automated - 25 updates is installed on my Toshiba Satellite laptop and HP Pavilion Desktop - cannot send emails from a computer using Windows Mail - they return both the same error message: "failed to connect to server...". "Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, secure (SSL): no, Socket error: 10013, error number: 0x800CCC0E".  E-mail can still receive however on both machines.  There is no problem whether the sending of emails minutes before the update took place.  Anyone who has known (and solved) this problem?

Postscript: problem solved - on both my laptop and desktop, I discovered that under Windows Mail > tools > accounts > (my tiscali account) > properties > servers, the entry for the outgoing (SMTP) mail has been entered incorrectly as smpt.tiscali.co.uk.  This change of smtp.tiscali.co.uk solved the problem on both machines.

Windows Mail worked perfectly on both machines immediately before Windows update Oct 10 - so it seems that the update must have corrupted a file to install Windows Mail on my two computers.  Not sure how other users may be affected by this...

Perhaps Microsoft could take a look?

  • 0x800CCC7D - cannot send a mail to Windows Live Mail

I can receive messages but not send it. Each error message is the same. Can anyone help?

    Error report reads as follows:

The server does not support an SSL connection.

    Subject 'Test '.
    Server error: 250
    Server response: 250 8BITMIME
    Server: 'mail.btinternet.com '.

    Protocol: SMTP
    Port: 25
    Secure (SSL): Yes

Thank you very much for your time.

The solution is pretty obvious: disable the SSL option.
Go to select Tools, accounts, this account, properties, advanced,
    Clear the SSL option.

  • Cannot send e-mail in Windows Mail

    Hello!

I use Windows Mail (very old program and doddery I know) with a btinternet email address and I'm on vacation in Sweden (I live in England). I brought my laptop with me and I have Wifi at work on it, but Windows Mail will now only receive emails, not send them. I received this message:

Port: 25, secure (SSL): no, Socket error: 10060, error number: 0x800CCC0E

    What should I do?

I don't know that much about these sorts of things so if I need to change the port or something, it would be really helpful to know how to do this.

    Thank you!

    Miriam (TeaAndChoc)

    Port 993 isn't for IMAP, POP3 mail.

Outgoing (SMTP) should be 465 instead of 25. Incoming (POP3) should be port 995. Both need to have verified SSL.
