ATTENTION: lack of events in the event log

I am slot as Vista Home Premium 64-bit. I have never received this warning before in a reliability and a report on the return, but three times today I received a warning that lack of events in the log. The percentage varies with each data collection. As you know that surely, he asserts that a possibility is ETW buffers and buffer size may be too small but it has never had this problem before. I ran a chkdsk and has not helped. I checked services and turned everything on automatic to make sure that all services are in the State of the device of the necessary Log data collection.

What I do or is - nothing.

    Help, please!

This type of error can be caused if the Visual C++ library runtime components are missing or because of a third-party software.

    Follow the steps below:

    Method 1:
If the problem is caused by the lack of Visual C++ libraries, you can download and install the Runtime components of Visual C++ libraries from the link below:

This error can occur when the Microsoft .NET Framework installation on the computer is damaged or is missing.

Try it out below step to reinstall and repair installation of Microsoft .NET Framework on the computer, then check if you can install the software.

    (a) click the Start button, select Control Panel, click programs and then click on 'Turn Windows has or not.' If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    (b) search for Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1 uncheck, click OK and restart the computer.

    (c) after the reboot, open again "Turn Windows features on or off" and place a check next to Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1 and restart the computer.

    Step 2

If the previous step fails, then I suggest that you manually download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 and 2008 Redistributable Package and check to see if you can install the software.

In programs and features, you do not show that you have installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable? If this is not the case, download the links here.

  • Proving assistance to the entry in the event log

Hi, I have to know if this event log reveals that my outlook office was opened in the 02.08.2012 at 18:00 and this information is essential to prove an entry not allowed in my outlook in my office.

"ID: 6, name of the Application: Microsoft Office Outlook, Version of the Application: 12.0.4518.1014, Microsoft Office Version: 12.0.4518.1014." This session lasted 502 seconds with 480 seconds of active time.  This session ended normally. »
On the log screen date is: 02.08.2012 time: 18:00:51

If there is someone who can confirm that this information shows this entry to my outlook is at 18:00 or if there are other possibilities other than the startup of outlook such as (log info can be a problem, time don't point at the starting time of an outlook session upwards, but it shows something else etc.).

I need real help that this information is very critical for legal issues and it is now regarded as a help at the entrance to my office email by someone else in the office.

How dose you reactivate the alert pop-up that appears when the event log is full? I used to get a popup alert informing me that the newspaper had reached its maximum. size is specified in Console of Managment computer that allows me to save and clear the log. • Reset permissions
    • Search for malware and viruses
    • Rebuild the WMI
    • Create a new account
Nothing seems to work, I think that this is related to an error in hardware/device, but I see no problem in Device Manager. Can someone point me in the right direction to get this resolved? I don't really want to have to format or restore my PC...
    Thank you.

    * EDIT * well it seems to have fixed myself, I used regedit and navigate to the key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog

There, I found some records, I deleted the folder "Powershell" and the "Internet Explorer" folder, and the event log service, and then began. I had uninstalled IE and Powershell but these records were still there so I thought I would like to remove to see if he has made all the difference.
