Attribute types - properties

Hello

I was converting some workflows that had a lot of scriptable task in a single workflow, in separate workflows to be re-used.

In the original workflow, I had certain attributes, and one of them was properties. Its value has been set and then during a Sciptable task. And was then used with another task scriptable.

Now, I've converted the workflow with a large number of workflow sup, one of them gets a value lay in attributes of a type of properties. Then I'll in another under workflow then she pass this same attribute. And now I see that the attribute is now empty.

I don't seem to see this behavior with attributes including the type string. It seems to happen only with the properties one. Is this normal? What can I do to work around it?

No problem... you can mark my answer as correct?  There are VERY few cases where its expected for you to have a validation error.  Each time a warning pourrait be ok, but actual errors I can't think all time than those who are ok.  In General, you should always be able validate properly.

    Hi all

    I have installation multi-user plugin. The workflow fails with the error "invalid attribute type: properties. One of the parameters on the flow of working remotely is a "Properties". It works fine without setting of type of properties. Y at - there no limitations on the types of parameters for multiple node plugin.

    Thank you

    Hello

    Looking at the source code of the plugin multi-Node, it seems that not all existing parameter types are supported, including Properties and the properties of table /. Not sure if this is the case of the design, or if it is an incomplete implementation / bug (it's probably the last).

  • Manager extension attribute 'type '.

    Hey everybody,

    I write my first extension CF Builder, which is just a word processor that will happen in the selected text editor.  Easy enough so far.

    I just wanted to check what the docs say the attribute 'type' tag of the Manager in the ide_config.xml file:

    Type:

    Specifies the type of Manager.
    You can specify the type of handler is "CFM".

    Which means that my menu extension element is not displayed when right-clicking in the file editor, but the CFM files.  So if I want to treat the text of a HTML or PHP file, I'm practically no chance.  This seems so myopic and ridiculous.  I hope I'm wrong.

    Thank you

    problem is I want to validate the attribute of type timestamp. When the user select a date if the current date is Sunday as the error message

    I can do this with the expression of the Groove.

    You can add a validation script to the EO attribute and use groovy as expression

    def d = newValue;
    println d.day;
    return d.day != 0;

    I have only tested with a date, but it should work with a timestamp too...

  • DBSequence not available entity attribute type

    Hi, OTN,.
    I want a type of entity attribute value DBSequence. But there is this guy in a drop-down list, only the Java types.
    I tried to set the type of the source manually, but the Runtime Framework assigns a negative integer attribute to the create operation.
    Simple application DBSequence type is available in test and negative integers are they assigned.

    I found a suitable thread (Re: type of DBSequence is no longer available for the entity attributes? but the solution is to recreate the entire datamodel.) This is not suitable for me.
    Maybe there's a better solution now?

  • What standard, if any, specifies how a browser responds to a type of content that is specified by the attribute 'type' of the anchor tag?

    I had hoped that the following HTML code would FORCE the browser responds to the anchor when dealing with content in plain text: < a href = "file:path" type = "text/plain" > anchor text < /a >. Similarly: < a href = "file:path" type = "text/html" >... < /a > should FORCE the browser to treat the reference that responded to the questionnaire in the HTML code. Firefox does this (good for you!). However, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer seem to ignore the given content type and process the response according to but they feel (which seems to be based on the file extension). I was hoping to find a standard that describes how a browser handles content specified by source type. I looked at the W3C html and http standards and have not yet find no applicable description or condition. Obviously, I'm looking for a way to encode the source file so that when the anchors are observed, they appear as I want them to be. I can not change the content of the file destination (or name) - which is already determined by its own needs.

    JDeveloper - Studio Edition Version 12.1.3.0.0

    Migration project 11.1.1.5 ADF - > 11.1.1.7-> 12 c.

    No problems during the migration and everything works fine (apart from a problem of Javascript).

    Now in the 12 c environment, I created a new application (library) and I am facing the slot issue during execution;

    Houston-25058: xxx attribute type Definition is not found in xxxx

    1. I have 3 of VO and all 3 have the same evaluation office, tables and joins etc.

    2. for VO 2 of his works fine, but 1 of the VO throws exceptions.

    3 cross checked EO to VO to PageDef, throughout all the way all the attributes and references exist.

    4 BC4J Tester works fine, no exception for the VO above with NAV and Associations etc.

    Anyone falls on this?

    (CE mark as answer since I resolved the issue and I managed to progress)

    Subramanian

    Thanks for the elaborate response.

    I want to answer all of your questions, but I managed to deal with that, ok. nothing smart or technical, what I did is recreated a new (exactly the same thing until the last attribute of layout) create VO, LIKE, VL and declarative added page, exactly how I did before, that's his work... to be honest I never thought that it will work.

    Now, this behavior triggered a few other questions: -.

    1. I created 2 sets of features exactly the same way and it works and is not another?

    2 can we do something with the new JDeveloper 12 c?

    3. If this type of behavior will happen at the average / towards the end of the development, I can't recreate / restart never time, due to the complexity of the feature?

    Any thoughts?

    See you soon,.

  • Change an attribute value type

    We rotate ContentServer 7.6.2 and would like to change the value of one of our attributes of string type to int. change the value of an attribute type of int to a string is allowed via the administration console, but conversely (string to int) is not allowed, probably because of the problem of data conversion. In my view, that it should be possible by performing the following database changes:

    _A_EXTENSION table < attribute_type >, column TYPE to change to 'chain' to 'int '.

    < content_asset_type > table _MUNGO, passage of STRINGVALUE to INTVALUE column for instances of the attribute, conversion of data type number as appropriate

    Someone has tried this before, does it work? Or anyone who has used another method successfully?

    Larissa.

    Hello, Larissa,.

    I have never tried something like this. What I have is:

    Create a new attribute type int and add to the definition

    Create a CSElement to recover the assets created by query for example.

    With active taglib (inside a loop in the CSElement) get the old value (string) and save the new value (int) with the appropriate conversion. Record the asset.

    Remove the attribute from the definition string.

    This has worked for me several times and you can be sure that you do not lose the old data.

    It will be useful,

    Gerardo

  • Add an attribute of the element configuration table type programmatically.  How can I specify the type of table?

    I am trying to add a configuration item that is an array of strings.  I don't know how to do this programmatically and have it show as an array of strings.  I would like people to be able to use the client of vCO and only change these if needed is.  I managed to add items, but they appear as "modified".  I can retrieve all ok by programming, but I guess since one can table actually waiting variant values is done deal as the generic object rather than an array of strings.  Is it possible to force this type when I put the value via the api?  It's my test code:

    var testArray = new Array();
    testArray.push ("string1");
    testArray.push ("string2");
    element.setAttributeWithKey ("TestKey", testArray);
    This translates into an attribute of type table, but I like it to be of type Array/string;

    Paul, as far as I know, you must manually set your attribute types using the vCO client. You cannot specify the types using script.

  • Retrieve by using the TYPE attribute of the element type VArray

    I want to recover the varray stores through the type attribute type or no matter WHAT work-around.

    for example, our type is defined as SUCH CREATE "READS" AS VARRAY (200) OF NUMBER (21: 6); (reading is with elements of number type varray (21.6))

    READING is a column in a table of INTERVALS. INTERVALS is a central table and we batch on the INTERVALS that are running sql store procedures. In the stored procedure we have hardcoded the declarations of variables mapping to the element type of type VArray of READING which is NUMBER (21: 6); for example, the stored procedure has declarations of variables such as

    NUMBER OF CONSUMPTION (21: 6);

    each Varray definition is changed or varray is deleted and recreated with precision and of different size, ex on number (21.6) past to number (25.9), we need declarations of variables to change in our store to batch process procedures. I am looking for is CONSUMPTION variable declaration, refer to item VArray type. I want something like that

    INTERVALS OF CONSUMPTION. READINGS. COLUMN_TYPE % TYPE; (I want something like this, identify the type of the items stored by varray)

    No problem. Discussions forum flags viewers have read so you don't need to keep posting.

    In response to your question I don't know of a direct method, but it doesn't seem to be syntactically possible to anchor via a SLIDER instead diverted the road % TYPE and % ROWTYPE.
