Houston-25058: type attribute Definition is not found in

JDeveloper - Studio Edition Version 12.1.3.0.0

Migration project 11.1.1.5 ADF - > 11.1.1.7-> 12 c.

No problems during the migration and everything works fine (apart from a problem of Javascript).

Now in the 12 c environment, I created a new application (library) and I am facing the slot issue during execution;

Houston-25058: xxx attribute type Definition is not found in xxxx

1. I have 3 of VO and all 3 have the same evaluation office, tables and joins etc.

2. for VO 2 of his works fine, but 1 of the VO throws exceptions.

3 cross checked EO to VO to PageDef, throughout all the way all the attributes and references exist.

4 BC4J Tester works fine, no exception for the VO above with NAV and Associations etc.

Anyone falls on this?

(CE mark as answer since I resolved the issue and I managed to progress)

Subramanian

Thanks for the elaborate response.

I want to answer all of your questions, but I managed to deal with that, ok. nothing smart or technical, what I did is recreated a new (exactly the same thing until the last attribute of layout) create VO, LIKE, VL and declarative added page, exactly how I did before, that's his work... to be honest I never thought that it will work.

Now, this behavior triggered a few other questions: -.

1. I created 2 sets of features exactly the same way and it works and is not another?

2 can we do something with the new JDeveloper 12 c?

3. If this type of behavior will happen at the average / towards the end of the development, I can't recreate / restart never time, due to the complexity of the feature?

Any thoughts?

See you soon,.

I understand that LDAPUserForm1UD_LDAP_GRPVO is the name of the child form to the resource of the LDAP user. While they inspected the child form, I find this design console.

LDAPUserForm1VO is the form created for the LDAP instance. SDM export shows that this exists in the location "oracle\iam\ui\runtime\form\view\pages\mdssys\cust\site\site\LDAPUserForm1CreateForm.jsff.xml".

In addition, if I try to create a new form for this Instance of the Application, it fails with the exception:

While I can see the error, I'm not able to find a solution to what for what is absent and where!

Clues from anyone, which was faced with this or at least help troubleshooting would be great.

If your sandboxes have the elements of form generation on the side of the administration of the system, then most likely you have replaced a sandbox created after the publication by a prior created sandbox which does not contain the information from the form in the file CatalogAM.xml. I think that's the name. To oracle support site, there are best practices sandbox offline that you can search. I'm restoring your mds changes and then recreate these forms and publish every sandbox in order before new forms are created.

    Hello

According to your description I don't see how I can reproduce the behavior. Make sure that you use a recent version of JDeveloper and next time you post, share this information with us. My assumption is that you use tools 3rd party like turtle in combination with JDeveloper SVN checkin. This can cause the problem you are experiencing

  • Error: Copy of master for the Type definition is not found

See screenshot below please. The typedef is there (I accessed it via windows Explorer and it is not grayed out in the code), and my FPGA VI is not broken, which uses the same exact control. I also have these constants by right clicking and choose create constant, so it's not as if I'm loading the wrong enum. Anyone seen this before?

Because I'm a bad scientist, I don't know exactly what fixed my problem because I changed multiple variables at the same time.

    Here's what I did:

Deleted the auto of the project folder (doubt this was important, still broken after that)

Changed my open FPGA VI reference by a bitfile to the use of a VI, selected my FPGA VI, no. MORE CASE RUN ARROW! YAY.

This finding was brought to go watch my FPGA bitfiles on drive - I've had two of them (weird). Usually a compilation replaces just the old file.

Just in case where the names give a preview, they are:

    More: NASATTRControlCo_FPGATarget_FPGAMain_25B3817B.lvbitx

    Latest: NASATTRControlCo_FPGATarget_FPGAMain_25AF817B.lvbitx

I went back to my reference FPGA VI open and selected the most recent bitfile I have compile this morning - no more broken arrow run.

I have a feeling that this may be due to choose an old bitfile, but usually if the bitfile does not include the control, it will not be displayed in the node control read/write. If someone of OR wish to comment on this I would appreciate the insight on what can happen.

I wonder if it's because I installed 2010 SP 1? Who knows, but it's fixed now.

  • Attribute getters/setters not found in class object view

    Hello

I use JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 and you have questions about the customization of the display of the advice in the view object.

In my application that should be used by the students and administrative staff, I generated entity object both display objects for a table of the database. Some of the attributes need customized display format. For example, the numbers of social security in the datatable is 123456789. For student users must be displayed in the form xxx-xx-6789. For staff users, it should be displayed in the format 123-45-6789.

So I create two objects from view of the same entity object, one for students and one for its employees, each having its own display format. To put customization code in attributes getter methods, however, I found that in view of object class files get accessor methods do not exist. The entity object class file has the getters; However if the customization is done there I won't have two different formats.

Suits for buyers are available in the object class file so that I can customize?

Thank you very much for help!

    Newman

    Newman,

Attribute getters would be placed on the class view LINE object.

  • oracle.jbo.NoDefException: Houston-25058 POJO data control

    Hello.

I had a problem where I get the following exception:

oracle.jbo.NoDefException: Houston-25058: groupLabel of definition of the attribute type is not found in ViewDefgroups3_254.

    Here is the description:

    With the help of:

    12.1.3 JDev (Build JDEVADF_12.1.3.0.0_GENERIC_140521.1008.S).

    JDK 1.7.0_79

In my application I have XSD which was used to generate the content model (next classes of java: Project.java (as the main class of the model), GroupsType.java, ThemeType.java).

Data control was created on this model (POJO data control).

When I was creating a data control I also create wrapper class (for additional functions) - ProjectWrapper.

Created data control has the following structure:

    ProjectWrapper:

    attributes of the project

    groups (collection):

    group attributes of

    themes (collection):

    attributes of theme

After I did drag GROUPS onto the page and create trees that have the following structure (lets call it groupsTree):

    groups:

    groupLabel

    themes:

    themeLabel

    In pageDef there are:

    < Tree IterBinding = "groupsIterator" id = "groups" >

    < nodeDefinition DefName = "ru.project.GroupsType" Name = "groups0" > "

    < AttrNames >

    < item Value = "groupLabel" / >

    < / AttrNames >

    < accessors >

    < item Value = "themes" / >

    < / accessors >

    < / nodeDefinition >

    < nodeDefinition DefName = "ru.project.ThemeType" Name = "groups" path1 = TargetIterator"${bindings.themesIterator}" > "

    < AttrNames >

    < item Value = "themeLabel" / >

    < / AttrNames >

    < / nodeDefinition >

    < / tree >

    I also add:

    < action IterBinding = "groupsIterator" id = "ExecuteGroups" InstanceName = "ru.project.ProjectTypeWrapper.groups" "

    DataControl = "ProjectTypeWrapper" RequiresUpdateModel = "true" Action = "iteratorExecute" / >

After starting my application, load the XML data in the content model and executes the ExecuteGroups action.

In the application page all items that show the project attributes are filled with data.

but when he goes to make application groupsTree throws the exception mentioned above.

Interesting thing here that when I recreate the data control in the class of the project (without using the wrapper class).

application works very well without any exception.

    Any ideas why this happened?

    Hello

Eventually the partitions that appear on the HARD disk is corrupted.
I couldn't install the OS on my laptop because the partitions have been confues up, I don t know why, but I couldn't format the HARD drive using the recovery disk.

Finally, I took the Windows XP disc and formatted the whole HARD drive and deleted all partitions on the HARD drive. Then I installed Windows XP by using the Microsoft disk.
After that, I made the recovery disc and installed the operating system using the Toshiba disc.
Then, it was possible to reinstall the OS.

Notes; The M400 seems supported RAID and therefore, you need to install the RAID driver first!

    Hi Dani,

Finally, I found the problem, it is reported in the Support of Oracle as Doc ID 1503173.1.

It seems jDeveloper is a bit special when adding directories for the file of Mar. If the entire directory "/ oracle ' is added, the adf - config.xml introduced the following line:

    namespace metadata-store-use = "WebCenterFileMetadataStore" path = "" / oracle "/"

Therefore, it turns away all requests to/oracle /... file and class of MDS, which causes failures.

Thus, when the change of the deployment MAR profile be sure to select the subdirectories under/oracle/webcenter/portalapp/one by one.

Added to that, I had to perform the cleaning process that you suggested to operate too, otherwise I get a different error...

    Final steps are:

    1 cancel the application deployment.
    2 delete the partition MDS.
    3 stop managed server.
4 delete the content/cache and / TMP to the server managed.
    5. start the managed server.
6 Exectute Clean all in jDeveloper.
    7. create a new deployment of mar as described in 1503173.1 SR.
    8. EAR file deployment.
9 deploying the new application with the server managed using Enterprise Manager.

    And it works!

    Thanks for your help!
