audio driver for computer pc laptop

I accidentally uninstalled IDT audio driver of my HP pavilion g6-1c77nr laptop having windows 7 premiun preinstalled in home... "" I tried to reinstall the audio driver IDT, but I failed.it shows that "the content of this file may not be executable unpacked.the, you try to run is corrupted please obtain another copy of the file" what should I do to get my sound back?

Hello

You can download a new copy of the audio driver from the HP Web site to this page: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5177829#N223 .

Download and try to install the latest version. The site also has previous versions available, so if you get a bad download once again, fall back to an updated driver and download the driver and install it. Then contact HP support and let them know that they have a bad driver download.

Let me know if this solves the problem for you.

Kind regards

  • Windows 7 audio driver for computer laptop zv5120us

I ran the program with no major problems windows 7 compatibility.  I loaded windows 7 Home premium 32-bit, and everything seems to work fine except the sound card.  I tried HP and RealTek for a pilot.  I downloaded a compatible Windows 7 RealTek driver and loaded on the computer.  Still no audio.  When I look at the audio driver in Device Manager, it says that the device cannot start (code 10).  I spent time with a person of HP on the cat and the end point of this session was that I had to go back to XP.  Is there a solution for the audio driver that will allow me to continue running windows 7, but with audio working?  My laptop has a processor Celeron 2.8 GHz and 1.2 GB of ram.  Thanks for any help.

I was able to download and run the program.  Sound is now working with alerts and music.  I got the message "No ADI codec driver installed", but Device Manager shows no problems with the sound card.

It true s that the P305 has been pre-installed with the Vista operating system, but of course, you will be able to use other OS like Win XP

Why you n t check the European driver Toshiba page and choose the show Satellite P300. It of similar to the Satellite P305 (U.S. series) and you'll find the Conexant audio driver!

    Hello:

For the dc7600, the best thing to do is to go to the realtek website and download and install the latest driver for the audio.

Accept the agreement. Download and install the driver either the 1st or the 2nd on the list depending on whether you have installed W7 32-bit or 64-bit.

    Steve

    Hi, Steve:

Audio driver Vista support page for your laptop should work...

This package contains the driver for the Conexant Audio device in the notebook models and operating systems.

    File name: sp35908.exe

  • Satellite Pro L650-15J (PSK1KE) - audio driver for XP

I downgraded from Windows 7 to XP, and although my sound works I have the following in Device Manager error message:

"Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus"
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click on reinstall.

Its interface is: Conexant SmartAudio HD CX20671

I started by installing XP (with Service Pack 2) and then loaded SP3. From there, I installed all the different drivers on the web for this particular laptop.

Whatever I do, I can't get rid of the error in Device Manager.

Have anyone experienced this before and had fixed. I followed the recommendations of other posters of forum with similar problems, but nothing helped.

    Thank you
    Johannes

    Hey Buddy,

The problem is that on Windows XP, you need to install SP3 first or two patches before installing high definition sound card.

The forum contains a lot of discussions about this, then you must also use the forum search!

So remove the audio drivers installed and make sure that SP3 is installed. After this visit the Toshiba page and download/install the latest audio driver for XP.

  • Conexant Audio Driver for Windows 7

    Hi all

I am a user of HP Pavilion dv1000 laptop (PR428UA #ABA), which is a very primitive model, but after upgrade the RAM to 1 GB, I changed the OS from Win XP to Win 7, and it's useful for now. In my view, that it is faster than when it was on XP.

    The problem is, I can't get the audio driver Conexant Cx20468 @ Intel 82801DBM ICH4-M - AC 97 Audio Controller [B-1], for Windows 7.

Yes, I already checked several messages in this forum and tried the similar drivers such as sp40270.exe or sp37816.exe.

    But it does not work.

What I have to give up this challenge because he's too old for laptop?

    Thank you.

    Hi, Jun:

Sorry, that didn't work. I was hoping he would because it was an AC-97 audio driver.

I have another simple idea that you can try.

If you have your laptop connected to the internet, click the audio device in Device Manager. Click the driver tab click on Update driver. Select the automatic search method and I hope that Windows Update will download and install an audio driver for it.

I'm sure that your laptop should be able to run Windows 7, including audio.

If this does not work, try this method of complicated... change the driver XP for work in W7... but you should be able to do. Just follow the instructions carefully:

    1. download the sp30399 driver.   You can get it here:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-31530-1 & LC = on & CC = US & DLC = in & Product = 1816346 & os = 228 & lang = in

    2. run sp30399.exe.

3 go to the extracted folder (default location is: c:\SWSetup\sp30399)

    4. change qta3091.inf:
    Search code block:
    [Conexant]
    % * WDM_AMCAUD. DeviceDesc%=WDM_AMCAUD,PCI\VEN_1002 & DEV_4370 & SUBSYS_3091103C

and add this line to the title:
    % * WDM_AMCAUD. DeviceDesc%=WDM_AMCAUD,PCI\VEN_10B9 & DEV_5451 & SUBSYS_0024103C & REV_02

So the result would look like this:
    [Conexant]
    % * WDM_AMCAUD. DeviceDesc%=WDM_AMCAUD,PCI\VEN_1002 & DEV_4370 & SUBSYS_3091103C
    % * WDM_AMCAUD. DeviceDesc%=WDM_AMCAUD,PCI\VEN_10B9 & DEV_5451 & SUBSYS_0024103C & REV_02

Note: Copy this part of the Device Manager > Multimedia Audio Controller > Details > hardware ID:
    PCI\VEN_10B9 & DEV_5451 & SUBSYS_0024103C & REV_02

You can have a slightly different description of the device. If you want to be sure, go to Device Manager, open the properties of the audio device not recognized, select the "Détails" tab and select "Hardware ID" in the drop-down list properties drop-down list. Copy the listed top hardware ID string and replace the description of device I wrote above, with one you see.

So the final result is as follows (if you have a description of different device.):
    [Conexant]
    % * WDM_AMCAUD. DeviceDesc%=WDM_AMCAUD,PCI\VEN_1002 & DEV_4370 & SUBSYS_3091103C
% * WDM_AMCAUD. DeviceDesc%=WDM_AMCAUD,PCI\VEN_INSERT YOUR DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE ID

    5. now, all you have to do is to install the driver manually through the Device Manager (Driver tab > update driver > select manual installation method and browse to the extracted driver folder (sp30399).)

Good luck and please let us know if you get the sound to work.

  • Impossible to download the Audio driver for HP Compaq nx 7300

I'm looking to download the latest audio driver for my HP Compaq nx 7300 laptop that is running Windows XP Professional.

He has five years now, having been bought again in 2007, and I plan to format and reinstall completely the operating system and drivers to rejuvenate the machine that becomes very slow and capricious.

The file I'm looking for is this:

    Type: - Audio driver
    Version: 5.10.1.5210 (October 11, 2007)
System: Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Microsoft Windows XP Professional
    File name: sp37155.exe (6.9 MB)

This is the page where I should be able to download:

    http://h20000.www2.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en & CC = UK & prodTypeId = 32...

But, when I click on the link, I get this message:

    File not found
    Show invisible characters
550 sp37155.exe: no such file or directory.

Please can someone give me the link to download this file?

    Thank you

    Armorel

    Hi, Armorel:

It is a version older that should work.

When HP corrects its Web site, you can install the last being.
