audio editing

I downloaded audio recorder of the word. Now, I want to erase/delete some of the audio which is now saved on my Windows 7 laptop. Y at - it a free software that is for audio editing? This isn't music or video, it is a statement of class that I only need to. That's the part I want to delete and don't keep the information I need. Thanks for your help.

It is free:

  • What to use for Audio editing

    Hi, I used Soundtrack Pro for many years and have finally updated to FCPX... y at - it easy audio software for the basic edition to replace Soundtrack Pro?  I tried to download tools first Pro to try it, but could not launch and I am really frustrated.  I'm looking for something basic, I think I can find similar effects that I used in STP in FCPX, but I liked that I could delete or silence part of the audio track instead of having to use the pen tool as in FCPX.

    I looked briefly Logic Pro, but this seems to be more for music creation of audio editing of an interview.  I have heard of Audacity, but which is stable software that will focus on my iMac (OS 10.9.5)?  I hope that makes sense and would be very happy to comment.

  • My saved Windows Movie Maker Project open with video clips in the Audio editing panel and vice versa (NOT as it was created). Can I move them back where they belong?

    After days of the creation of a filmmaker 'project' I 'saved project' one last time, then reopen and publish a movie.  All my video Clips (phtotos) now appear in the Audio editing / music along the bottom with only a video clip standing in line of the video of this 'slide show' of 90 minutes.  Is it possible to move these clips to which they belong without having to recreate the whole project?

    What happens if you try to read the project in Movie Maker?

    Looks like your project .mswmm file is corrupt (starting
    Perhaps more than the best approach). The project can be as far
    too big and too complex to publish (save) with success as a
    video file.

    I suggest that you create several small projects
    and publish (save), each of them in the. WMV video format
    and then re-import the collection. To combine WMV files
    in a single movie.

    You can also import collection. Clips WMV to DVD
    Manufacturer and each clip, would have become a scene (chapter)
    on the DVD.

  • Audio editing in Soundbooth

    I edited in soundbooth several audio clips of a video sequence in first.  Once I discovered that I could not make changes to these original audio changes I've made several copies of a sequence in the first so I could try out different options in Soundbooth.  Now I have several sequences in first with audio edited from Soundbooth, but as I added publishes first ran gradually slower and slower to a possible crawl.  When I open this first project now, I can not even save the file and get a message 'No response' in the title bar.  Is there a solution or this supposed first editing audio in Soundbooth does not?

  • Audio Edition - not available in the 30 day trial?

    I have been using / learning Captivate 4.0 via 30-day trial (my full version is on order). I wanted to try audio editing capability; However, when I opened a blade that has audio and try to change thanks to select edit-audio, the audio Edition menu never happens. If this could have something to do with:
    (1.) the fact that it is the demo version?
    2.) I am trying to edit an audio file from one of the pre-loaded music files (corporate4) since I've not yet recorded of audio myself yet.

    Thank you.

  • audio editing - scrub

    I work with Audio > editing in Captivate 2.0 feature. It is generally effective, but miss me the ability to 'rub' - audio listening when the head of the recovery period is moved backward. The absence of the Mediterranean makes it difficult for me to find very tight to change points with precision. Y at - it a setting I'm missing that allows a scrub?

    Hi kathyn

    No, not that I'm aware of you missing something resembling a scrub. I'm guessing that you are already familiar with Editor dialog box, but just in case. If you click on the 'play' button (or space) or other action is actually a toggle. If you click Play and click the same button to Pause. This should give you a fairly close control over these tight points. Once you place, note that you can re-position the playback head using the left and right arrow keys for more precise placement. At the same time, if the area is very tight, I would be also zoom a bit if the points are most obvious in the waveform.

    (1) is there a more powerful video card that I can just pop to replace the current card?  The first thing you should do is upgrade the power supply (PSU).  The current PSU is only 300W.  Most newer cards require a minimum is 400W to work properly.  I recommend at least 500W to give you extra power for peak needs.  I love Corsair products.  As for a video card, here's a card which should give you more power.  I suggest you read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.

    (2) should I buy a new desktop computer, and if so, what would you recommend for audio and video editing?  If you decide to buy a new computer, the new gaming PC are great.  Here are a few examples.  One of them as displayed will be much more powerful than your existing computer.  You can configure all that you need.

    Thank you!

  • [Bug] Audio editing in child clip nested loops when the parent is made to gotoAndStop (1) after playing once.  FP + 18.0.0.324, FP19, FP20

    Essentially, once a movieclip was played, he heads to gotoAndStop (1) will cause audio within its child clips to loop, although the timeline will never trigger the.

    We noticed this bug popping up in a lot of product delivered and it goes back to the public Service 18.0.0.324 update (.225 is OK).

    Debug configuration: even after replacing EDI with FP20 projector, it can always does when you preview of Flash; but he will present in the projector, AX, FF and Chrome plugins.

    Create movieclip 'wrapper' on the main timeline at least 2 images.

    Create movieclip "subitem" within the envelope at least a few images of long.  Incorporate audio on a keyframe in a subitem.  No keyframes.

    For my test, a subelement is never allowed to play, and the audio is located on the frame 5.  Frame 1-4 contains "stop()" and one the event for debugging purposes.

    Add this code to the main timeline

    wrapper.addEventListener ("blah", foo);

    function foo(e:Event):void {}

    wrapper.removeEventListener ("blah", foo);

    wrapper.gotoAndStop (1);

    }

    and has wrapper dispatches an event 'blah' on its last image.

    Result: Seen outside the IDE, 'wrapper' play once, stops, and audio clip starts a loop with a rehearsal time based on the length of a subitem, despite the fact that a subelement does not actually play.  I added a text box and channeled text of debugging for it so that subitem would fall within its current framework, and it never leaves the Framework 1.

    Mysterious!

    Bonus: I traced a click of the mouse for SoundMixer.stopAll (), but he keeps only a single instance.  Don't know if TI which is a useful detail, but he suggests that each iteration is a new instance, once again, as if the home itself was in a loop.

    Solution: Play audio via code (Sound.play ()) instead of points in the timeline does not trigger this bug.

    Edit: (I hope that's enough to recreate.  I can provide a FLA on request, had thought that there was an ability to 'fix' this forum.)

    Edit 2: I forgot the Question.  Is there a workaround that can be achieved via a post parameter, or something global?  We have hundreds (thousands?) of files to the difficulty for our clients if this bug is not get patched in before they update past FP 18.0.0225.

    We injected a similar bug over the holidays that must be resolved. (We can have * just * past this fix today.)

    You still see this symptom with the latest version of the Flash Player? (20.0.0.286)

  • 8. do not allow me to move the markers of the slide in the audio editing of slides in Captivate

    Support - seems to work sometimes, but sometimes not. Today, not! I'm a software simulation. Then save auido to be distributed across multiple slides. But in the audio editor, says "you have reached the minimum display time" whenever I try to move the markers of slides! GRR! all solutions?

    Hello

    In the case of the image you provided, the audio itself seems to be long of 2.5 seconds. So Captivate you cannot change the slide duration to be shorter 2,5 seconds, because the associated audio video needs this time to complete. The only way to make this shorter slide is to edit the audio clip, so his is shorter.

  • Save button missing in the Audio edition

    I use 6 Captivate.  I want to change the audio on a couple of slides at once.  My approach has been to select the first slide, I want to change and then press CTRL + click on the second slide.  Then I go to the top of the screen and click on Audio > slide.  The edit box appears and I can edit, but I can't save.  I can't click anything else in the program selection until I record, so I have to stop the whole program, which makes me lose the work.  Is there a better process for editing a few slides at once?  Why did the "Save" button missing?

    Thanks for your help.no_save.png

    Hello

    Greetings from Adobe.

    Please try to recreate the preferences of Adobe Captivate 6. First close 6 Captivate.

  • Audio editing based on presenter 8 slides

    Greetings:

    I have a very basic question.  When you use presenter 8, how we re - record audio on a single slide in the presentation?  I noticed the mention of the option to record the audio for the entire presentation or a single slide mode, but this box does not appear when I type record. All I want to do is find the way the faster re - save a single slide in a presentation.

    Thank you

    Hello

    Audio recording for any slide replace the previous audio present on the slide or

    simply record audio if the blade has no audio.

    Here are the steps:

    1. display the slide you want to edit audio.

    2. click on the audio button.

    3 PPT slide show and the record dialog box will appear once the device (MIcrophone) for registration will be verified.

    4. click on the record button on the recording of the presenter dialog box and start recoeding.

    You must save the audio once you have finished recording.

    There is a Slide Navigator on the record audio dialog box that can be used to navigate to any slide in the presentation.

    A 'play' button is present to play and control audio recorded.

    Thank you

  • 101 audio editing

    I know it's a question absolutely nube, but I ordered to prostrate myself as such before the collected wisdom of the forum.

    CS6 running and have set at 60 or 70 narration clips to form a skeleton for my calendar.

    I try to add spaces between these clips without having to select ALL the clips line towards the bottom as I edit more small sections.

    I have the same problem trying to wave of video clips on the timeline, when there is nothing between them but the chronology.

    With the video, I can cover the empty area with black video timeline and push down the line using the appropriate adjustment tool.

    But black video are produced by the first has no audio device I can use to "gaps" in the timeline and cut.

    What I'm missing here?  There must be an easy way to 'push' audio on the line and all subsequent audio clips ripple to maintain their collaboration to the other?

    Again, I apologize for such a basic question, but I can't seem to find a solution.

    Take a look at the track Selection tool.
