You can return things to normal by clicking the menu drop down for the sequence and unchecking rectified Audio signals.

Why my cadratins split into two quadratins only in digital format (ebook)? How to stop this?
I work for a Publisher and we use InDesign to implement our print files can be downloaded (usually in PDF format).
Then, I create a new file for ebooks, remove pages additional, marking the table of entries contained as hyperlinks, etc. internal.
Given that the Kindle plugin is still in beta and cannot, for some reason, recognize a table of contents created using hypertext links (even if that's what specify instructions), I convert it to an ePub, check, make all necessary revisions, except that as the upload of ePub.
Can I convert the ePub in mobi using Calibre.
In both cases, my cadratins are divided into two quadratins in digital versions. I use the low InDesign Type menu to select the em dash and it appears as a single symbol or glyph. Print file seems perfect. It is only when it is converted to a digital format that the em dash is divided into aligned format.
I need to find a glyph special to use does not appear in my font (Times New Roman)? I really need to fix this! Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for sharing files. In the "OutpassageEbookTextcontent.indd" document, instead of an em dash, two quadratins are used and it is probably the reason why you see in the EPUB. You can use the find/change dialog box to understand when these are used. I sent an email stating in many places where they are used as your files may be confidential and I abstained from publishing excerpts of text on the forum. Please take a look and let me know if I have not understood your problem.

Split into stereo channel 2 separate channels
Is it possible to split a stereo song recorded in 2 separate channels, that I could control the volume. Apple support advised to separate into 2 mono channels, making the mono sound of the song.
I had no problem in FCP7, it came as 2 channels, so I don't have to divide.

I have an AMS Venus T5J external drive enclosure (DS-2350J); It is filled with disks Western Digital 1 terabyte Caviar Green 5, model WD10EADS. The device of Venus using a control panel with a JMicron JMB393 chipset, which is able to create RAID volumes to a connected host system transparently. I used it to create a volume of 4 terabyte RAID 5 covering all five disks. I've been accessing using a laptop Toshiba P105-S9337 with a card PCMCIA Vantec eSATA interface, which worked, but was not very effective. Of course, it was necessary to structure the volume as TPG due to its size. That has been a challenge.
My primary system was Windows XP 32-bit installed, which does not support GPT disks. I experimented with Ubuntu and another distribution of Linux, which supports the GPT, but ran into problems to mount the RAID 5 volume transparently (it may have partially been my inexperience, but it * should * have been easier).
So I decided I have to install Windows 7 on this system, so that I could get access to this RAID her volume. The system is based on an Asus M2N SLI Deluxe motherboard, which has an eSATA port integrated driven by a JMicron JMB363 chipset (NOT capable port multiplier).
Windows 7 installation, installation of the JMicron driver for the motherboard and log box RAID, Windows little wanted to assign the 'disc' a new disk ID in order to to use. I solved this problem with a perfect result...
In short, I could use TestDisk to recover completely with all data intact original partition table. It took several tries, several hours waiting for the paint to peel (scanning) and finally a brief dialogue with the proponent (Christophe Grenier).

How to add asterics to line when an item in the line splits into two and only one line display.
Here, the title is a bit confusing, I completely realize that but here's what I'm trying to accomplish. I have a table with a column that repeats.
the table looks like this.

and it contains data as follows

According to your last post, you keep what is displayed for the other columns, so why display them at all, so this will do the job.

If you want to view the other columns, you have two choices. You must either put some sort of aggregate function in the list of selection, such as min, max, or sum, or they need to be part of the group.

Help! Large iTunes library split into two locations, how to fix?
Long ago, I told iTunes to store its iTunes Media on a NAS file and I copied the iTunes folder all my D: to the NAS unit. I also said iTunes to keep organized records and copy files of music added to the NAS.
I just found out by examining the XML file that iTunes thinks about half of my music files (~ 7,000 of them) are located on the D: drive and other ~ 7 000 are there where I want it all, on the NAS. Number of files on the NAS which I however contained artist/album music files are empty; the files appear to have been erased and are still on the D: drive where the XML points to them. Management of iTunes files (XML. ITL, etc..) iTunes is now current are also on the D: drive... those on the NAS are not kept up to date.
I thought my massive library - countless hours to rip my CD - safe on the multi-plate RAID NAS. Goes, if I lose my D: drive (which I was backup is no longer) I lose half of my library and all of my iTunes administrative folders. Ouch!
How can I get safely iTunes exclusively use the SIN for all the data files and of the administration?
If I re - copy data from D: to the NAS and edit the XML file to point to the NAS for all files, iTunes will not even watch D: for the management of the library? How can I do forget d everything?

By modifying the file XML will not help at all - iTunes only writes to this file, the bed ever. Assuming that all of your media plays correctly then you should be able to consolidate your library (file > library > organize library > consolidate files). This will copy all the multimedia files that are not in the iTunes media folder location specified in Edit > Preferences > advanced to this location. Note, however, that many reports suggest that iTunes + SIN is not an ideal combination; You can be better to use a standard external drive for your library and use the NAS device for backups. You can also watch the advice to user turingtest2 on do a split cell library for more details on the optimization of available to your library.

Divide an ArrayCollection collection into two lists
I have an ArrayCollection collection I need to split into two lists based on what 'section' they in. In other words, I want all the points where the 'section' is 1 in one list and all the points where the 'section' is 2 to be in another list.
Should I do two ArrayCollections? Filter data in a single ArrayCollection collection in the various lists? What is the best way to do this without having to store a duplicate data in memory (IE not repeat two "sections" twice)?

Parent Connect_by divided into two - causing problems
I'm creating a solution of the hierarchy, same old parent stuff seen child and levels. I find the map and walk all the way up to the top, assign it a group and the sequence. ID group is starting with 1 1 incrment.
I have a sitution where the parent splits into two, when it split into two then one children should have the same parent group but the other child should not be part of this group.

Audio can be separated into two tracks of channel once it is already on the timeline?
I've recently updated my old first 6.5 to the CS6. I have 4 hours of footage that shows my only audio in the Audio track #1. I do not see each channel separately. I need to change the audio channels separately.
I just found out that I should have changed an audio setting for each prior clip to add it to the timeline in order to have audio channels display separately.
Audio can be separated into two tracks of channel once it is already on the timeline? I hope of course. It could be done in the first former before Pro.
Help, please. I look forward to a response. I'm on a tight schedule.

I recorded a podcast - me and a guest, with each microphone goes to its own mono channel. When I opened it in hearing he mixes in a stereo channel.

Once you have opened the file in the waveform editing view go to menu Edit "excerpt from the channels to mono files.

PRE9: How to split a clip into two (or more) videos?
I can't believe that this is so hard to do... But HOW?
Put the CTI (current time marker - the vertical line that moves during playback of the video) where you want the cut. For the excellent work, use the left/right keys to move a frame at a time.
Press [Ctrl + K] or click Split Clip in the monitor window.
Note This creates two 'clips' in the project, but does NOT physically turn your original clip into two separate pieces. You will need external software if you try to physically divide or attach original video files.
