Audio issue on-line on the Blackberry Playbook

My video conferencing application is not playing audio live on the Playbook.  He is using Speex, with reading bufferTime = 0.

I think the Playbook is using AIR 2.5, so it is the same problem that has been reported in Adobe AIR 2.5 for Android and subsequently fixed in 2.6?

Is there a temporary workaround solution (setting bufferTime to zero)?  Or don't use Speex?  Thank you.

You can try with Nellymoser? And if you're still having problems, would could you attach code that would demonstrate the issue so that we can try internally?

You are on a virtual private network? If so make sure you get off it.

Are you on Windows or Mac?

You can try instead of NAT network bridge and see if VMWare gets you an IP as your host computer, which should have access to the internet.

Help me by providing examples of coding.

    Thanks in advance.

Here are some tips to help you get started.  It all depends on the terms that you use for your search.  For the first, I would use "adobe air browse file."  For the second, I start with only a variation as "adobe air download file" and then adjust according to the first results.

I have these sessions two times during any month three of the modules do, so I don't know not working class sessions, and I thought that I would be able to continue studying if am not at home and on the road.

I need to know if your application always supports the BlackBerry PlayBook OS: 2.1.0.1917, I got your request of BlackBerry Apps World.

The class sessions are held with Resource Development International Ltd (RDI Ltd), which is working with Edexcel and Pearson Education.

    Mobile Connect 9.3 is:

    Mobile

    • Supported by Apple devices: iPhone 5, iPhone 5, iPhone 4, iPad with Retina display, iPad 3, iPad 2, iPad mini and iPod touch (4th & 5th generations)
    • Apple OS summary versions of supported: iOS 6 and higher
    • Supported by Android devices: Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX, Motorola Atrix, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Samsung Galaxy S3 & S4, Nexus 7 Tablet
    • Android OS summary supported versions: 2.3.4 and superior

The last update the BB app got was 1.7.5. The current version of the mobile Connect application is 2.2. The output of 2.1 was a note that the Blackberry is platform is no longer supported (Page 2 here). This is reflected in the Connect tech specs page, which is where I got the mobile platforms supported above. In my view, the answer is at the end of the account, you will need to use an Apple or Android mobile device, or your computer.

I'm developing an app for Blackberry playbook in action script. I signed the application (Release version) and it has deployed on the device, but the axis of the device shows null. When I run the application directly from Flash builder it is showing correctly.

Thanks everyone, I solved the problem. In fact, there were 2 BB.xml file in my project, one containing the access authorization of pin of the device and the other did not have this permission. I removed the redundant .xml file and every thing went very well thanks to help appreciated guys

Applications built with beta WebWorks 2 won't work on the 0.9.4 Simulator.  They are incompatible binary.  You must re - package your application using Beta 3

  • Technical questions about the development on the BlackBerry PlayBook

    Hi, guys

Hope this is the right place to post my thread...

I was asked to develop an application on BB PlayBook (I'm an absolute beginner on this point, however), and now what I have to do is:

place an image in my application, and tapping on the image, the application will open a. PDF file.

However, I'm stuck here because I did some research on this one, looks like on BB PlayBook, the only way to open a. PDF file is to be opened with Adobe Reader (version BB). My 2 questions are:

    1. how to call the Adobe Reader to open a. PDF file in my application? I tried the "browseForOpen' from the 'File' class method, it opens a file picker in my application, and I can see the. PDF file here, however, when I select the file and click 'Open', it will not open the. File PDF... and, of course, it will not

    2. based on question 1, on BB OS tablet is it possible to open a file without showing up the "file selector"? I would like to have the opened file directly as long as I click on the image that links to the file.

I would be grateful if you could give me a quick points up on this.

PS: I use Adobe Flash Builder 4.5 as the dev. IDE and build up my app as a Flex app.

    See you soon!

    Terry

Try the function navigateToURL (...). In addition, the class File (openWithDefaultApplication) and QNXApplication (openFile) class contains the methods to open applications preferred, based on a file.

Before BBX 2.0 Beta, these two methods did the same thing (it didn't). It has been reported as a bug, but I'm not sure if that has been resolved. Need to try all 3 methods to see which works for your needs.
