Audio question for you Premiere Pro veterinary...

Hi there-

Editor FCP here who is in love with the new PPro CS5 and tries to convince my studio to do about our next show.

I can't have a specific situation of audio and so far all the help documents I've read are not give me an answer:

I am trying to export a quicktime with multiple audio tracks. For example: track 1 is a stereo track with all the audio from the camera, while track 2 is a stereo track with music and effects. This would create a similar situation a TV show dumped on audio tape program channels 1 and 2 and channel 3 & 4 music and effects.

My alleged career would create submixes 2: 1 "camera" and 2 "music and effects." I was so hoping to export a quicktime with each mixture of sub as a separate audio track within the exported quicktime. Is this correct?

Can someone help an old man?

I don't think what you want is directly feasible first.  To the best of my knowledge, your export options for the audio is mono, stereo and 5.1 are looking for two sets of stereo tracks.  They must be exported separately and then combined somehow outside the first.

A year ago, I wasn't having problems (besides it's so long to export media.  However, the last six months, I've noticed much different and for a month and a half has been pretty frustrating.  If I have too many things on video (too many images or video is slowed down), the computer hangs and does not address the media.

I've searched and searched.  I know that my computer is old (probably around 7 years).  My question is, is there something I can do to work with the computer I have?  If I don't have enough information, please ask for more details.  I'm at the end of my understanding of the situation.

Here are the minimum requirements for Adobe Premiere Pro CC (2015)

Premiere Pro system requirements for Mac OS and Windows

To speed up the editing process, I'll make sure your reading to 1/4 or 1/8 speed in your case. Also, make sure some media proxy.

This video - How to create Proxy for dslr Footage Tutorial - YouTube files has the right settings for your machine that I read above.

Once you do proxies and remember your reading, you should be fine, but you need to upgrade your ram. I would recommend at least 8 GB. 12 GB would be a minimum in good health. Another thing, do not update adobe CC 2015.3 for now. My old machine that is much more equipped than yours, could not manage it. Too many bugs now.

GPU-GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 for Adobe Premiere Pro CC (2015)? Yes or no?!

Hello. I would buy GIGABYTE GPU GeForce GTX 970 4 GB but I can't find the map on the website of Adobe system requirements. What GPU will work for Adobe Premiere Pro CC (2015)? Is activated GPU acceleration? Thanks a lot for your reply and advice in advance. Martin

They tend to cards list itself more, as they did... so they list the requirements for cards that work with the programs. Who are a minimum of 1 GB of vRAM and a few other things. As the production of internal software of the card, which is like a '3.0' or whatever and all 900-series cards are way beyond that... so with a 4 GB of vRAM card, the other issue is the number of cores CUDA has?

Current recommendations are to stay above 1 000 CUDA cores... .and most 970, I've seen are listed with hearts CUDA along 1600... so it should be good. I myself use a 970 GTX w4GB vRAM. Now... a good GPU does not in itself and make an editing machine who shouts, as only certain things go by the GPU in PrPro in any case. A bad can certainly slow things, however.

  • "We are unable to validate this serial number for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 family."

I bought and got a license for first CS6 serial number.

I downloaded the files for first CS6

    PremierePro_6_LS7.exe PremierePro_6_LS7.7z

    PremierePro_6_Content_LS7.exe PremierePro_6_Content_LS7.7z

I ran PremierePro_6_LS7.exe, and with load specified with number series, reached the point to enter the serial number.

"We are unable to validate this serial number for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 family."

I checked my account and the license is added to the file.

The serial number is 24 digits into 6 groups of 4 characters.

    Please answer this.

I use Adobe Premiere since 2006 and I currently CS5.5.

This is the first time I had problems trying to download and implement a version.

It took most of the day so far!

I have not tried removing it (not until I have CS6 sorting)

I installed CS6 in trial mode and enter the license number.

Serial number seems to have been accepted.since that encodes now starts without a license message.

  • Best editing for Adobe Premiere Pro using laptop and external drive

I'll confess that I'm not a particularly technical person. But I am learning!

So I want to ask a simple question and hopefully get some good advice.

I'm editing a feature-length documentary on Adobe Premiere Pro. I have a lot of HD footage, and I want to optimize my drives to optimize performance. To that end, I recently bought a StudioRAID 4 to glyph.

I currently work for a Mac Book Pro. I use Mac OS 10.9.5.

Processor: 2.66 Ghz Interl Core i7

    Memory: 4 GB 1067 Mhz DDR3 (2 GB 2 benches)

I searched a bit on how to better implement my discs, getting some useful infor here: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/662972 and here: https://www.video2brain.com/en/lessons/optimizing-hard-disks

But there is a little too much information - and I'm getting lost. Use a 2 disk configuration tips? Or should I partition my drive of new glyph and use the 3 disc mounting configuration.

I'd appreciate certainly all of the tips!

    Thank you

    Rebecca

partition the disks will not help and will not change readership by this ranking. better performance would use raid-0 on the StudioRaid of glyph and 2 disk configuration in the table. Make sure that there is a backup of the raid, in case something happens.

also 4 GB of ram is dangerously low, you can upgrade to 16 gb.

  • Lossless Audio only export in Premiere Pro

    Hello

I finished a long project in Premiere Pro and the original idea was to use the 'Edit' button > 'Edit in Adobe Audition' > 'Sequence' to export all my 14 tracks to make adjustments, corrections and the final mix in Audition CS6.

It turns out that the 'Edit in Adobe Audition' is absolutely useless in this case because the PP at hearing .xml export format will allow only to save the new project of Audidion in 16 - bit, 48000 Hz stereo, but all my original sound is 24 bit, 96000 Hz stereo. Of course, I could live with the limit of 48000 Hz, but not the 16-bit (which, incidentally, makes me wonder if and how Adobe plans do pros use the hearing for a final film mix).

So I'm stuck with the need to make all the PD Flickr photos to make the mixture, perhaps even its importation in hearing. Being all my audio wav 24bits------96000Hz, is this the best way without loss of export to wav by selecting "Uncompressed" for "Audio Codec" and using the same sampling rate and size of my original sample files?

In case this is the best way to do that, are there problems I should be aware of, in case I decide to export it in 32-bit floating point instead, if required to use certain features of hearing or other soft?

    Thank you very much.

This is the best.  I can't think offhand problems.

  • Audio to skip in Premiere Pro

    OS: MacOS X El Capitan

    Premiere Pro Version: CC 2014

Video file type: formats .m4v (Shot on iPhone 5 s to 1080 30)

When I play videos in QuickTime Player, the audio is normal, not to jump. When I drag and drop them to the Prime Minister and to play them, the sound skips. With some of the clips, the sound would jump and then after a while, just stop playing the sound. I have also some footage from the GoPro, but this film is not jump as do the iPhone files. He has not done this in the past. What should I do?

EDIT: If you want to know what I'm talking about, here is a video of my problem.

Nevermind, it was the file format. I just had to change from .m4v to .mov and it worked.

  • Why can't I export the audio edited hearing in Premiere Pro?

How to fix the box gray? I can't click on "export to Premiere Pro.". "

    Thank you!

Export of Premiere Pro is an order of menu only multi-track.  If you send a clip to the hearing, then just save and return to the first update in the timeline of the sequence.

When you send one or the clips at the hearing, first performs a rendering operation and replace it, generating a new clip and place it on the timeline.  Hearing opens the file for editing, so that first it leaves open for reading.  When you switch to the first, it checks if the clips have been changed and updated the waveform.  There is no need of what whether export returns with this method because the files are already there!

  • Multi-cam sequence only ONE AUDIO CHANNEL LEFT, Adobe Premiere Pro CC TIMES.

    Hi all

I was wondering if someone could help me out here. I have several hours of short clips (1-3 min) of an event of 3 days I am organizing and preparation for editing.  I wasn't on the shooting, but the cameras record the external microphone (main audio) on one channel and the internal microphone (audio reference) on another channel; but it varies on what channel they recored reference main vs.  For the clips where someone talking directly to the camera and I know that I will not need the audio reference, I went and made "audio editing" and mixed the "stereo" until "mono" and then selected the channel with the "audio main' to be source channel.   It works now great when the person talks it comes in evenly on the left and right speakers instead of being unbalanced.

However, when I then try to take 2 of these clips which were mixed at the bottom of 'mono' and create a new multi-cam sequence, new sequence plays constantly audio only from the left lane.  I tried many configurations where do the multi-cam of sequence (automatic, mono, stereo, Adaptive). Nothing works - he ONLY plays the left side.  I also tried to change the audio channels after I do the new sequence and put "Channel 1" in both channels left and right.  Nothing, he still plays on the left side.

Any idea on how to get my mono source channel to play regularly in the left and right channels instead of only in the left?  Also, if I try to Pan right in the effects window, it's just quieter, not balanced.

    Thanks for the help!

Found a solution here multicamera Source Audio sequence of 1 speaker instead of two? HELP Please!

CTRL + N or command + N for a new sequence, select your preset (in my case DVProHD > 1080i) and make sure the audio channels are all mono. Then copy and paste all your clips into the new empty sequence.

When I upgraded from Premiere Pro CC 2014 and 2015, all my sequences blocking started playing mono audio through the left speaker only. I'd just create a new multi camera sequence or if I opened one I had created in 2014.

  • Solution for the Premiere Pro CS6 video playback Bug yet? Help, please!

I just downloaded the demo version of PPCS6 and everything was much until I tried to edit a video that rained 3 minutes. The video may play for the first 30ish seconds before the picture freezes and I can play is nothing else. I currently own CS5.5 and it worked perfectly for two years with mounting in real time at full resolution with eight AVCHD videos installed above the other. I've never had a problem with CS5.5. I did some research and saw that this problem lasts since at least February 2013, but not one has found a solution in forums. I tried all the suggestions to reinstall things, updating drivers, decommissioning of the pilots, toggle playback of mercury with my video card, reboots, the new projects, restart the computer and only opening first pro, as well as a bunch of other things without success.

After a year full, because people have been struggling with this problem I guess that Adobe has finally released a patch or some kind of workaround to be able to use Premiere Pro to edit more than 3 minutes of video. Fortunately I can simply return to CS5.5, but all the work on CS6 will be lost. If anyone can shed some light on this at all it would be greatly appreciated. I just spent the last 5 hours trying Premiere Pro to work and I am at my wits end.

    Here are my system specs:

    Windows 7 Enterprise (64-bit)

    Intel i7 - 3930 k OC'd to 4.5 GHz (water cooled)

    16GB 1600 MHz RAM

128 GB sata II SSD for the OS and programs (only the adobe programs are installed).

250 GB sata III SSD for scratch and video files.

500 GB HARD drive for other media (not used in this project) files.

NVIDIA GTX 460 SE video card.

I also tried to put my video files on the HARD drive, but has not made a difference.

This could also be useful. If I open the problematic video files in CS5.5, I don't have any problems and that she plays and gum butter smooth along the.

Thanks in advance for any help any!

Okay, so it seems that updating more recent correction of the problem. I'm surprised that no one mentioned this in the 5 other posts/forums where people looked at this question. They are all just stopped posting in mid 2013 without selected correct answers, or the mention of the update. I'll have to go post there too I guess that to troubleshoot the guy next door may not get the evaluation or initial installation version to work. However, I now have my solution. Least 6.0.5 update. Here's a note more to those who are unable to update in Premiere Pro. I had to download the update directly from the Adobe website and install it manually. I found the update by performing a search in the support section of the Web site. I hope this helps someone else I do not spend a day trying to solve this problem!

  • Need to change the format of the pixels in the Photo for the Premiere Pro CS6 sequence.

    Hello world!

I'm using Premiere Pro CS6. I just created a new custom sequence (1:1 in square pixels, 720 x 480) because I need to import a bunch of video clips in 720 x 480 with square too many pixels. All is well, the videos fit the program monitor window perfectly.

But when I import my pictures (which are as 720 x 480, resized and cropped by me personally to have this EXACT final size) they fill the monitor window of the program (leaving black borders!) and when I right click on their properties, I see that their format of pixels is 0.9091 and NOT 1.0 !

Can you please suggest a way to prepare my photos so that their format of pixels is standard pixel-squares 1.0 ? (I use a program called ACDSee for batch pictures, as there are many of them). I don't want not to change the settings for the sequence to 0.9091, because then my video clips to adapt and to keep borders!

Thanks a lot to the guys in advance!

Select all images in the trash, right-click, and select Edit > interpret footage...  Replace it BY square.

  • Bad Audio. MTS files Premiere Pro CS4

Hello, I have looked around and have not been able to find that everything related to this post. I am importing a 29.97 AVCHD 1920 x 1080 .mts video shot on a Sony FS100 into a 1080 p AVCHD 30 sequence in Premiere Pro 4.2.1. Everything seems fine, except that the red bar made appears and the audio is nothing but really bad static. If I make the work area he plays very well except for the audio (still static). If I play the video in VLC, it plays very well. Even with Final Cut Express import via the log and transfer (intermediate apple) - looks and sounds great. But I can't do anything but bad static in Premiere CS4 and After Effects CS4.

  • Problems with the Audio after export in Premiere Pro CS3

I am currently working with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and after that I have export my project to an AVI or MPEG (does not seem to matter), you can hear the buzz stirred in the background during the entire video.

The audio sounds absolutely perfect everything while listening to him itself, it is only after I export it.  This is the first time it happened, I've never had these problems before.

I tried to turn off multiplexing, I tried MPEG2 vs DVD in multiplexing with no difference.  I tried MPEG vs PCM as audio format, I tried different frequency, different bitrates, constant or Variable and nothing seems to work.  More funny, if I export as a part of the video, the audio seems fine.  It is only if I export the entire video I have that noise of snoring, restless in the background.  I thought that maybe it is just a file in the project which is the cause, but no matter what part of the video I export, it sounds good... I don't understand.

I have attached an example of my problem in this post... anyone got any ideas?

To Render & replace, select an Audio Clip and choose (Toolbar) Clip > Audio Options > Render and replace. A new Audio Clip will be created and will replace the Audio Clip selected in the timeline panel.

Now, there's these Audio Clips of multiplex Audio & video, files or separate the Audio Clips?

    Good luck
