Some how or never, I was able to uninstall an audio device. I tried to fix the sound and I have no idea how he did it. Now, I just get the message 'no audio output device is installed ". Can someone tell me how to recover it and where? Thank you...

First, use Windows system restore to undo the changes that you could make. If this does not work then download and install your Sigmatel audio driver for Inspiron 1525 download page. Select your OS first, then expand the Audio category.

You can also get this error if you don't have an audio device - which means that if it failed. If you need more help, include the name of your operating system.

  • Inspiron 1525 not able to select the internal microphone for the webcam, or it appears on the Control Panel, sound, Audio devices

Initial problem was Dell Webcam video recording record any sound.

In the Panel configuration, Device Manager, sound video and game controllers, there are two high definition Audio devices listed: location 1 (internal Bus High Definition Audio) - I take it that it is the internal mic. and location 2 (Audio High Definition Bus Interior) - I take it that it is the external microphone jack. Both have the same version of the driver.

Control Panel, sound, the recordings tab showed 2 devices that looked like identical except the bars that show green with volume were only on the first, which is also the default and would detect sound if you're real close to the webcam microphone when you talk. The two devices displayed as 'work '.

Accessories, Sound Recorder records are silent any distance you get to internal webcam mic.

Dell WebCam Audio Source tab has two selections, the two reading Microphone (3 - high definition Audio Device). Both selections recorded the sound with the EXTERNAL microphone jack. There is no way to select the internal microphone webcam, it is not an option.

According to the instructions found on the web, I uninstalled the first device only in the Device Manager and rebooted. The same version of the same driver has been installed. But now the parameters have changed. Device Mgr shows Loc 1 and 2 pass. However, under the Øresund, tab records there are always 2 features, but the first said "currently unavailable", is always the default and the sound bars that go for green for the audio tests are ANOTHER unit now instead of the first. If you check the properties of each device, they BOTH show the same location 2 (inside Bus High Definition Audio), i.e. the external microphone jack.  Loc 1 device (built in mic) does not appear!

Accessories Sound Recorder works with the EXTERNAL microphone. (How does he know that one to use, it is not giving me a choice?)

If the tracking device 1 (internal microphone) does not appear anywhere besides than Device Manager. I want to use the internal microphone for Skype and webcam. Somehow, I need to get the Loc 1 unit appears on the sound - recording tab and in the Source Audio Webcam list? What should I do?

Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Inspiron 1525 has low audio volume

Our Inspiron 1525 has always low volume no matter how high the volume control is set and it is always set to the maximum value.

I noticed this in the past since we bought the machine, but it is not because we use the sound. Know that we have subscribed to NetFlicks, we need a sound volume higher.

What is the secret to solve this problem? It is sound from the speaker and it AI not corrupted. He is so low the sound cannot be heard.

Thank you for this, but this isn't the problem.

The problem is essentially that make sto Dell want as much out of service customer.

The solution for low volume on the Inspiron 1525, click with the right button on the speaker icon in the system tray. Then click on sounds, click the Read tab.

Two options will appear: "Speakers/headphones" and "Digital output devices."

Select the speakers/headphones and then click Properties.

On the window that opens, click on, 'levels '.

You will see two level controls. Increase the speakers and PC speaker maximally. You will notice that "PC Speaker" is at the lowest level possible. That's the problem. Dell wants you to pay $ 60.00 for a tech support call to discover that the default setting for the volume of your PC speakers is the lowest possible.

After you increase the level for both "speakers" and "Speakers" to the sound of your Inspiron 1525 of level maximum (or any computer Dell laptop you probably) will be loud and clear.

It comes to make as much money as possible from users making it very difficult to understand what the problem is.

When you pay your $60, they know exactly where the problem is.

    It is private companies.

  • Inspiron N7110 - video freezes / audio stutters / CPU use spikes

    Hello

Recently, I'm having a problem watching videos (on my laptop and internet). The problem is that the video freezes for a second, while the audio stutters. What I also noticed is that with this problem, the resource monitor displays this: http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/7656/freezingr.jpg .

When he first started I thought it was a cooling problem, because my CPU cooling fan had become very noisy. Well, I changed the fan and the continuous problem bothers me. I did a few other things to try to solve this problem: uninstalled and reinstalled the Intel HD Graphics driver, ran chkdsk - both does not solve the problem. I ran a full diagnosis of Dell in http://www.dell.com/support/Diagnostics/us/en/19/ , but he did not take questions. I googled the problem, but I was not able to find a solution. I'd appreciate any help. My laptop is that 8 months.

    Hello

    1. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?
2 do you have the card drivers installed on the computer at his last?

Step 1: Run the fix it tool in the following article and check.

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows
    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/hardware_device_problems/

Step 2: Check if the microphone is disabled.

    1. click on start > Control Panel > switch to Classic view > sound > recording tab
    2. right click in the empty space and select Show disabled devices > if the microphone is disabled enable it and click on the OK button. You can also try to select the microphone as the default device and check.

  • Dell Inspiron 1525 Microphone does not

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 with a built-in microphone. I run on vista. The microphone is not picking up my voice. I went to the control panel. I have made sure it is activated, and all volumes are rising. It is said that SigmaTel Microphone Array works, but that's not true. I also uninstalled and then reinstalled the SigmaTel driver. I did a system restore and that didn't help. The speech recognition does not pick up my voice either. All other sounds work fine, I built in Webcam which works very well, except for the record. But who is also defined on such sigma with all volumes upward. I've had this computer for over a year and the microphone used to work, I think that when I updated something she decided to not work. But I really need my microphone to work, and I am really frustrated because I can't use it. ANY advice would be appreciated thanks!

    Hello

Control Panel - SOUNDS - Audio peripheral devices configuration-manager

Make sure you write down the description and model double click top - tab drivers - write version. Now
Click on update drivers who cannot do anything like MS is far behind the certification of drivers. Then RIGHT
CLICK above and UNINSTALL - REBOOT - this will rebuild the driver stack.

If your driver shows 06 you have the default windows and part of the question.

Go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest Audio/Sound drivers - download - SAVE - go to the place where you
Put them - right click on Reboot - RUN AS ADMIN -.

Check the Version on the tab of the driver in the device as a sound Manager often restoring drivers, then install
the current version. Restart and check after each try, not uncommon to have to run the pilot of 1 to 4 times or more.
Just make sure that the version you have installed appears in the tab of the driver.

Then navigate to the site of the manufacturer of the device and search for the drivers more recent and repeat the installation procedure.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Click with the right button on the speaker near clock - recorders - right click in the box - check show disconnected devices

of course the appropriate injector is enabled and check that other settings - on the levels tab make sure MUTE is not checked

  • Inspiron 1525 - Windows 8 - microphone does not work

    Hello

I have a problem: I have Dell inspiron 1525, originally it had Windows vista, I installed window 8, now the microphone laptop does not work. If I try to access Dell Support Section, drivers & downloads, I can only choose between Vista and XP. I would be very grateful for help.

    Kazik

Hello. I would first try the Vista version of the Sigmatel audio driver. Install it using compatibility mode. Reference Dell it lists as being a 32-bit driver, so it might not work even in compatibility mode but it's worth it.

If this one fails to install then try the version XP of Sigmatel, once again in compatibility mode.

Answer if you don't know how to use the compatibility mode.

  • Help! Laptop Inspiron 1525 of external speakers

I got my inspiron 1525 as a gift - a really cool months ago. My son uses these external speakers Dell on his older model Dell laptop and they work fine just plugging them in. Four hours earlier, he took my headphones to school and left me with the speakers to listen to Pandora on the Web while I'm working.

I connect the speakers and I get a popup of SigmaTel Audio Control Panel with an option of two headphones and a microphone - I tried them in all three, tried to as before, rear and speakers LFE, my only option, but still I don't get all the sounds.

The sound on my laptop works fine, the 'static' speakers when I their connection and turn on them, and they worked fine all last night on my son's cell phone so I know that they are operating.

What should I do? Help, please!

    Thank you! :))

P.S. I checked thing the FAQ about entering the registry and everything - but I've never done this before and the 1525 is not listed in they say them to use it for, so I am wary to try it. Also, I can't tell if my SigmaTel is the same because I can't find the Pxx - some - number type on it. Gosh, I look completely illiterate!

  • No sound via bluetooth A2DP with 355, inspiron 1525 wireless

I have a Yamaha YBA - 10 bluetooth dock receiver.  I can easily listen to music from my LG phone but when I try the same thing with the Dell I have no sound.

The Inspiron 1525 and the Yamaha receiver properly disconnect and connect and illustrate this on their respective menus.  However, I never heard a single glance of the 1525 audio transfer to the Yamaha receiver.  The receiver is associated as a stereo headset.

Inspiron 1525, bought in July 08, Dell wireless 355 bluetooth card, purchased in September.

in the VISTA sounds dialog box there is a test button and I also don't get any sound when I try this.

    What else can I try?

  • HP Pavilion HauppaugeWinTV HVR 1290 and Windows 7 - Audio stuttering problem

    Hi all

I have the WinTV HVR 1290 card installed in a new building.  Window7 Media Center does a great job, support the DVR functions.

I searched for the latest drivers that HP has on Windows7/64 Bit support.  The current problem is that the recovery of a sleep almost always ends with an Audio stuttering problem.  A reboot clears the stuttering.

HP probably has some drivers of Windows7 pre-release for sold third party hardware integrated into the Media Center PC.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you
