  I try to install Audit Vault 12.1.2 using RHEL5 and virtualbox.

  Installed virtualbox VirtualBox - 4.3 - 4.3.16_95972_el5 - 1 on Linux 2.6.18 - 398.0.0.0.1.el5. In virtualbox, I chose the type of operating system like Linux and Oracle 64-bit version. When I try to start the virtualbox with Audit Vault .iso image, the installation is not progress and hang with the message "P11X4: 100% not native mode: will probe IRQS later."

  Please advice if the environment/method mentioned is supported for the installation of audit vault.

  I use VB 4.3.12. I had no problems installing AV on this version.

  In any case I had to restart my linux machine, but no process started automatically :(
  
  I'm reading how to start 'something'... by the use of the (e13841.pdf) Administrator's Guide...
  but without results...
  I don't know (I want to say I still have not found in the doc) sequences correct to start and stop services... when start the database... If there is a command to automatically audit Vault start the database...

  Audit Vault Server you installed in your machine in ORACLE_HOME1
  You have installed Audit Vault Agent in your machine in ORACLE_HOME2

  1 / your database from ORACLE_HOME1

  export ORACLE_SID = yoursid
  sqlplus / as sysdba<>
  startup
  output
  EXPRESSIONS OF FOLKLORE

  2 / the AV from ORACLE_HOME1 Server

  avctl start_av

  3 / the agent runtime from ORACLE_HOME2 AV

  avctl start_oc4j

  4 / your agent from ORACLE_HOME1

  avctl start_agent - nom_agent

  At this point, you should be able to start any collector that you created previously. Be in command line mode, ORACLE_HOME1, or through the web console...

  I removed the original HP ink that was defective and took it back. Now I have the inkjet (Office jet pro 8620) without cartridges installed. The printer says not to disable so that it does not get damaged but I'll be away for a week and want to turn the printer off. I will cause damage if they do?

  Hello:

  Assuming you are using Audit Vault and 12.1 database firewall, as indicated in the title of your post, there could be some issues to look at.

  First, be aware that auditing settings are retrieved not the officer, but directly from the Audit Vault server. Thus, you must ensure that the Audit Vault Server can communicate with the target you want to retrieve Audit settings of. This means that, if there is any firewall network between the two, you must allow traffic on the listening to the flow port.

  Second, you must make sure that the host specified in the target location field cannot be resolved from the Audit Vault server. If, for example, your target location is something like 'jdbc:oracle:thin:@//a.b.c.com:1521/mydb', then the AV server must resolve a.b.c.com to an IP address. Usually this by configuring DNS name resolution in the Admin interface under settings-> Services.

  as mentioned in your tnsname.ora file the name of your service is (av.oracle.com), but in your comand you use just AV
  Please check the instruction agiain and try again. If the problem persists, then do the above action.

  We have Apex 3.2 & Audit Vault 10.2.3.
  Audit Vault stores the name of the database user when a table is updated through SQL * Plus etc as expected.
  Problem is by Apex and insert into the db table using simple form on the table of the ANONYMOUS user is registered.
  We have real end-user connected upon Express request.
  
  Is anyway to configure the Audit Vault or Apex to use/pass v('APP_USER')? Must something be done by their Summit to set up a session?
  
  Running below shows 2 ANONYMOUS users and no end-user APEX_PUBLIC_USER or Apex.

  Hello:

  Since Vault Audit relies on the native database auditing it can only collect information that is recorded by the 'source' database in its audit trail. APEX fills the field of connection with the APP_USER CLIENT_INFO. However, CLIENT_INFO is not recorded in the audit log. Instead, the CLIENT_IDENTIFIER is captured. APEX records a composite value in this area. The value is in the format "APP_USER:SESSION_ID". This value must be recorded in the audit log and therefore sent to Audit Vault. Audit Vault reports should be able to display this field, and you can filter on it to get the information you need.

• WiFi without hardware installed.

  I have the problem new wifi no hardware installed. I had this problem before, on and outside. I installed the new wifi card, cable flat and was not the problem. The problem was software, I'd do the reset SMC, resetting the Pram, reset memory NVRam and that would fix it for a while. I EL captain and he ran for a while without having this problem, but he's back, wifi no hardware installed. I removed some files in the list of network preferences and restarted to create new files, but now I do not have wifi listed in the network section in the preferences system on ethernet, thunderbolt and bluetooth option. I have a wifi dongle would I use to get when I had this problem who worked as Yosemite, but does not work under El Captain but it works in bootcamp with windows 10.

  My question, is there any suggestions any one has other than SMC, Pram, NVRam reset or delete files from network preferences (I already did several times) to get the captain El OS to recognize my wireless card?

  In this case the problem is almost certain to be a hardware failure, and you have already tried a new Wi - Fi module.

  Generally, the problem that is causing the fault is an interruption of the connection as a common microscopic welding that can be difficult, if not impossible to find visually.
