  I want to create a video with the transformation of the keyframes for a 3D character any fuse, but the only way I think to do that must first convert it to a smart object, which seems to flatten the character.

  Well, this isn't quite as black and white (I don't think). Animation applied to a character rigged via the properties panel (or workflow mixamo.com) is not editable, but you can keyframe things like scale of character transformation, as well as lights and the camera in the scene.

  So when you mentioned that 3D extrusion was not what you wanted, I think that should be supported and it is just hidden in the dense UX. Timeline

• How to delete presets for effects to a clip?

  I am learning the use of the official document for help from Adobe first Elements 8.

  I currently work in Chapter 10, 'Application of effects', section 'Work with the effect presets'-> 'apply a preset of effects '.

  The help document does not say how to remove a preset effect you had applied.

  I tried to follow the instructions to remove the usual effects, but they don't seem to work in the case of the predefined settings.

  Suppose that I have applied several effects preset to a certain clip.

  Now I want to inspect which presets I applied.

  Can I do this? If we were talking about the effects rather than predefined effects, it could be accomplished easily, could not?

  Inspector (or deletion / to hide/change) the effects that have been applied to a particular item can be made easily in the properties panel.

  But I think that what you asked is that the same is possible for the effect presets.

  Well the answer is YES and NO, depending on the preconfiguration of effects that you applied and your understanding of the preset.

• Need help with keyframes for start and stop an effect

  I use a mask and blurred for a few seconds. I understand that I must use keyframes to indicate when to start and stop this effect in the video, so that the same area is not trimmed for video full.

  The problem is, I can't find help by correctly setting the keyframes. When I opened the menu keyframes in the effect, it seems that I must together for both the mask took and the blur effect. I did... to start and stop at specific times, but the rest indeed throughout the video, so of course miss me something by using keyframes. The manual to create effects is not useful. I need assistance with keyframes as what I'm doing is clearly not working. Help!

  If the mask does not move that you don't have to set the keyframe. For the blur, click the stopwatch next to 'bluriness' add keyframes as below, the Reds don't blur and blue those maximum blur this fade effect.

• Using keyframes for the path expression access but use motion to set speed

  Graphic type work I do now involves simple animations of boxes across the screen. For example, the layer we could spend x pixels, pixels are layer 2, layer 3 pixel z, etc. So far, I've been keyframing these movements, but, as the distances, the different starting points and end varies a lot, I find that the speed of the movements vary and I want them all at the same speed. I can judge by the eyes or watch the keyframe graph, but I would find it rather an expression that looks like my start and end keyframes and moves the whole at a standard speed.

  I came with this expression to create a movement between two points at 400 pixels per second in the horizontal plane, but it does not work:

  If I remove the line of final tightening, then the animation starts and proceeds as you like, but does not stop. I put in the line of pliers, thinking it would stop the animation to the desired position, but it seems to reduce to nil the last lines of code and the animation follows the time where original keyframes.

  I found this video for a 'novelty' that allows you to create a mask on an effect. (See link below)

  However, the mask of "buttons" says this video should be available by virtue of the 'mosaic' (or other), the effects do not show up for me. I use the first Pro CC... Why don't I have access to this feature?

  Sorry if this is discussed somewhere else. I could not find. I am a student working with Illustrator at the school. I have to use the tool rotation 3d-effect much for a project that I do, I tried action defined rotation time. It does not work. Another action records so the entire scripting works, but it will not experience anything out of the effects option. Is there a way to get around this or I have to do it manually? Thank you.

  I recently have been doing some memory problems and questions-exporter etc and wanted to know if my effective resolution is well above 300 who asks the questions.

  It would be an image with 300 real and say 1500 effective (20% of original size) tries to display on typical to 360pp

  (1500/300) x 72 = 360 (the image is 5 x less that 100% resolution is so the preview 5 x 72 dpi - 360ppi?)

  She's redimmensionnement down then by the conversion of an extract of 72 DPI or is what makes the image 72 dpi @100 % and then reduce this x 5 to get a glimpse?

  because the images with a high-power much clearer than images with 300 effective overview

  and with more than 140 images in my catalog, this additional treatment would be the cause of my mistakes on export and just chuggy Preview in typical fashion?

  Resampling is set in Photoshop. ID scales only, that's why you see the actual resolution.

  In photoshop, you can use the same pixels to create a really big image (physical dimensions) at 72 DPI or a smaller physical size at a higher resolution. If you record at 72 dpi, the bishoprics of preview ID is essentially the same size as the image itself, while if you save at 1200 dpi preview will be greatly sous-échantillonnées (and it will look like in typical preview mode to identity card).

  With respect to the scaling in ID, my feelings are that the scale is OK when the result will take you to the beach target for your desired effective resolution (i.e. it is not a big problem, enlarge a 1200 dpi image to get an effective resolution of 300 ppi or reduce an image of 100 ppi for 300 effective ppi) Although a lot of people will tell you it's better to do the scaling in Photoshop (and I'm usually in this camp for high-end work) to be able to fix the sharpening, etc.. Ideally, your images will be on your page inside more or less 10% of the target effective ppi, but it would be better to be a little down to cadence in Photoshop. Downsampling in Photoshop or ID to output will result in still a certain lack of details and if the effective resolution is too high you will be downsampling output, thus, nothing is taken for granted by usingf images that are too large, and your performance will suffer.

  If your desired resolution is 300 ppi and your effective resolution is 4500 PPI, you should really be resizing in Photoshop.

• Tips for effective formatting of huge Documents?

  I was instructed to convert several documents of 500 + pages of FrameMaker. The source material is a mishmash of Word, InDesign and Quark Xpress.

  I created models without problem. But the conversion happens in about a third of the speed, that I waited because of the extraordinary amount of character formatting that this material requires.

  I have copy and paste chapters in blank templates, stripping on all of the original formatting. I then perform two passes: a fast level styles for paragraph and one excruciating for character styles. Almost every sentence is a word or three requiring a character tag. I know that the keyboard shortcuts to apply character tags, but it's still real big.

  Is it possible to automate some of this? I can find-and-replace for commonly used terms that have special formatting and reproduce the formatting for these terms in the document? When I was using FM for Mac, I use AppleScript to some of this.  Is there anything else I can do to be more effective?

  You can load (character and paragraph) formats in the Clipboard of FM using the special copy command. Then using the find/replace, you can specify the part of change to use "sticky". It will be worth the the Clipboard format to what you have in the search section.
