  • Search iPhone settings for "Auto-Lock" does not work

    Hello

Does anyone know why the Auto-Lock setting is not to be found when you use the search at the top of the main settings page.

From time to time, when I'm on a conference call, I like to set the auto-lock on 'Never', so I can leave the visible main phone screen to mute/one-mute the call without having to unlock the phone. I have the memory of a goldfish, so I do not remember that it is in the section "Viewing and brightness" and that is why I use the search at the top of the main settings page field. I would normally enter 'Auto', and it would be "Auto-Lock" for me.

Since the release of iOS10, the la recherche search can't find this definition more although it still is in the section "viewing and brightness.

The search for other settings seems to work, but it seems that it is just this one, but I have not actually tried too.

Any ideas on what is happening and how I could get to find the Auto-Lock in the future?

    Thank you

Seems to be a bug, so nothing you can do but remember where the parameter is and report the bug:

  • iOS 10 Auto-Lock does not.

    Hello

I just updated my iPhone to iOS 10 6s and now the auto lock does not work, the display stays on, unless I lock it manually, and if I get a notification that locked the rest of the screen turned on, which depletes the battery quickly.

I checked the settings under display & brightness (I put in 30 sec)

I checked that assisted Touch is off under accessibility

    I rebooted my iPhone

    I have reset all settings

If anyone else has encountered this problem, or have any other ideas how to solve?

    Thank you.

Auto activate password on the lock screen

Screen Time out and Auto a time interval of password locking is now separated in iOS 10. Unlock iPhone / iPad screen now possible using the button "home", before access code enabled on the device. We can manage, go to the settings > Touch ID & password > requires the password.

  • Auto-Lock does not not from the iOS10

    Hello!

Since I've updated my iPad Pro 12.9 to iOS10, he'll never sleep. The locking/unlocking and auto-lock settings are the same as before the update. 5 minutes and the lock/unlock switch is on.

I tried to restart, to set another period of sleep, to toggle the switch and nothing seems to work.

    Any solution?

    Thank you!

    Hi Borjazz!

I see that Auto-Lock does not work on your iPad.  It is important to have automatic locking works, so I'm happy to offer assistance. First of all I recommend you stop the application settings by double clicking the Home button and it slide up. Then restart the iPad and test again. If the problem persists then the how to test to see if this is a hardware problem will be to back up your iPad and restore it to factory settings, without restoring your backup.  Here are the instructions on two processes:

The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings

  • How can I prevent my computer from auto lock?

I think that my settings were part of a group security policy (laptop).  I have administrative rights on the laptop, and in the past, I have simply outweigh the policy setting "on RESUME, password screen" (or changed the deadline to 24 hours).

However, this time it seems to be different.  I tried to change the registry settings, scoured the internet and I can't find a solution to the problem.  I edited each registry setting, I can think of to prevent this from happening, but it does not simply block a closure, after only 5 or 10 minutes (I've never actually timed).  I even tried to set the number of seconds in the registry, it's okay that I put, it hangs still after 5-10 minutes.

Then I discovered that if I connect an external monitor, the computer will randomly not, after a period of time.  But as soon as the external display is disconnected, it crashes again after 5-10 minutes.

Any help is greatly appreciated, it's extremely annoying.

I have Windows 7, which is said by the way.

  • Auto lock mode: how to disable?

Great when you're on Walkabout with your laptop, when I'm at home, laptop plugged in, I don't want my laptop to keep coming back to a login screen every few minutes.

I am on a Thinkpad E520 running Windows 64 bit professional.     Here's what I've tried so far without success:

(1)--> control Panel--> Power Options I have everything "maximum performance" put and disabled the display standby timers.

    (2) control Panel--> Lenovo - camera-enhanced security--> I have disabled camera and timers recognition features.

    (3) Board of control--> Lenovo Power Manager--> I disabled all timers.

Disabling the options in the control panel areas above doesn't seem to affect the automatic protection feature.    This automatic locking descent touch is driving me crazy at home, the only consolation is that the fingerprint reader makes it a little easier to get back in once the laptop goes down.    It's like a terrible screensaver you hate that cannot be disabled.

How this auto-lock feature is turned off?   Ideally it should be a big button available in the toolbar you can push: walk - stop.   This way you can easily turn the timer on and off with a single action suites.

But for the moment, I can't find anything in the control panel or from the taskbar which turns off this lock automatic descent touch.

    Where is he?

I do not know... I uninstalled the function with all enterprise-level random stuff that was on the system that I don't use.

  • Satellite C850D-11 q Touchpad Auto locking at startup?

I was watching the Eurovision Song Contest and had to download the so-called Octoshape Streaming Service to watch... everything was going well until it randomly froze and my mouse responds more... some four restarts later and it started to work again... However original ran on every startup and whenever the kicks knocked out inside the mouse.

To resolve this problem, I turned off the option start start origin and he seemed fine.

Today, however, I started my laptop to find the mouse is not responding... would that work on connect, but as soon as I put the password it would not lock... After having finally managed to get online using keyboard shortcuts, I found something that says it all by pressing the F5 key to lock the mouse... I tried it and hey presto... mouse works again...

My question is this... What could have caused this happens when I have never pressed F5 and how can I make sure that it is again?

In my opinion, you must get rid of it. Remove this service from your streaming system.
Start your laptop and do back OS to an earlier time using System Restore tool.

There are months I wanted to watch football with some streaming channels. So many cops have been installed until I could watch my favorite channel.
After restoring the system, everything was clean again.
