Auto projector detects non-stop

Hi hope someone can help.

It started with a HP Pavilion laptop. When the projector is plugged in the laptop screen goes black for a few moments in order to detect the projector and back for a second then black detect the projector and goes at it again without interruption until the projector is connected to. Its like it is stuck on the detection of the spotlight all the time. At first it worked, but we had to restart the laptop with the projector connected. After that he did not like that again.

I have chosen a numerus display resolutions, installed the latest driver, updated the bios, restarted the laptop with the projector plugged in.... but nothing has worked again.

So I used a Lenovo laptop and the same thing... it worked the first time, but not yet. And I've also updated the drivers and bios, still nothing worked.

The PC main been used on that the projector is a Mac book and it works very well, never had a problem.

The HP has a VGA out - Windows 7

The Lenovo uses a mini HDMI adapter to VGA - 10 windows

The Apple is to use a bolt of lightning to VGA.

Help, please

  • Windows XP (SP3): Assistant of new equipment can detect non-existent "printer" at startup * AND * chronic blockages mouse

In recent weeks, my copy of Windows XP (Service Pack 3) maintains 'detect' a 'printer' at startup, but can never find drivers for it, even through the Internet.  The new device Wizard never identifies the element as anything else as "Printer", or I don't see an unconfigured device listed in material anywhere, Manager even if the wizard repeat myself that the installation of the driver is not.

I have a printer connected to the computer: an HP DeskJet 932 C printer.  However, the old driver worked very well, and I get this message regardless of whether if the printer is physically connected to the PC.  The printer was initially connected via a parallel cable, and I've been using a USB cable, with no improvement.  I also downloaded and installed the latest driver from the HP support site; still, there is no improvement.  I also followed the instructions on the linked page, and the problem persists:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;298370

Finally, around the same time the "printer" problem has started, the PC started suffering from sporadic blockages mouse: at irregular intervals after the start (anywhere from a few seconds to hours), the mouse stops responding completely.  I tried using two different computer mouse (the two USB), and the problem has occurred at the same time.  I can't prove it, but given that these two problems seem to start at the same time, I tend to think that they are related.

The PC itself is a Dell Optiplex GX260, with a 3.06 GHz P4 and 1.5 GB of RAM and plenty of space (20 + GB) of free space on the C: drive

Please, please, * help to please!

    Hi Ellakite,

Glad to hear the problem is solved.

Check if there are any drivers listed in the printer server properties and delete the same.

You can use the command to remove drivers below. Follow these steps:

    a. click on start

    b. click command prompt

    c. right-click on the option of cmd.exe and select run as administrator

    d. type: printui/s/T2

    e. opens the printer server properties page

    f. click on the port tab and remove port

  • How to detect the stop scrolling

    Hi all

I am currently working with the Bold and Storm, JDE 4.6.0 and JDE 4.7.0 respectively. I have the following question: How can I detect when the user stop scrolling? I have set up a ScrollChangeListener.scrollChanged () that detects when the user begins to scroll through the screen. At the moment, I put a Boolean variable in the true, but now I need to put the same variable to false when the user stops scrolling and I don't know how to do it. Any idea?

Is there another listener or event that it would be useful for detecting the start and stop scrolling or the movement on my screen?

Thanks in advance for your reply,

    Gabriela.

Try to implement a TimerTask with Timer class to check the status of scroll each time.

  • First HP: first Hp non-stop reboot

I had a first HP graphing calculator for about two years, which recently got locked up leads. I was trying to chart the drifts of an equation, so I went "Slope (5 x-1)". I hit the ground and my calculator crashed. He attempted to restart, showed the HP logo and the standard home screen with x squared plus y to the square is equal to 1 in big letters, showed the chart grid for maybe a tenth of a second and crashed again. It has been in a process without end of the attempt to reboot and crashing since then. I tried to push the PIN to restart on the back of the calculator, letting the battery die and then reconnecting the battery and plug then, but none of it worked. I am at a loss to know what to do and hoped someone might have an idea of how to fix this.

    Thank you!

  • P2035 prints non-stop

I have a P2035 connected locally to a workstation from Dell running Win7 x 86 and every now and then when a job is sent to it it starts printing and does not stop until I unplug it or it is out of paper. My usual dose is to uninstall and his driver, then reinstall. That works fine for maybe a week, and then it starts again. Also, it only prints on the top of the page and printing consists of legitimate words that would have the document but also sparsed symbols throughout the text. I tried a hard reset, a new cable, older drivers, latest drivers, disable bidirectional, support what I could find on several boards of Directors, but the problem still persists. Any ideas?

He did indeed turn out to be a driver problem. I uninstalled the driver specific to this printer and installed the universal pcl5 driver and now it seems to work.

  • Outlook express non-stop download previous emails

I had a hard disk crash. replaced it, reinstalled XP and re-setup outlook express. Progressed it program to download all previous messages I thought I was lost, but has not stopped. I have 13000 more emails in triplicate. How to stop this thing. I found the file in the system and delete the file "Inbox" to allow him to re-download I wouldn't double and triple, but it does still hope. Help!

    To add to Steve's comments:

Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced - uncheck: leave a copy of messages on the server.

In tools | Options | General, uncheck check for messages at startup and to pass messages every X minutes.

Close an open OE and do the manual send/receive. I think that OE starts to poll for new messages before the previous download is complete.

Once this is done, a double-check meanings, bit I would not mark messages any sooner than 5 minutes, 10 would be better.

If you need to double check leave a copy on the server, on arrival of the lease to remove after XX days.

    *************************************

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=903095

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:
    http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

    And backup often.

  • Vista Home Premium lsasse.exe/o HIGH - non-stop

    This isn't a problem of malware/sasser.

The question I have is cited in hundreds of threads back on the history of Vista, and nowhere can I find an answer.  I don't work for small business tech and try to avoid VISTA, but sometimes I can't - what is a.

The specific platform is an IBM Thinkpad T61 with the original OEM Windows Vista Home Premium x 86.

One question remains, which is a rampant lsasse.exe that accumulate i/o reads and writes to the rhythm of 3 ticks/s before shutdown or restart (or sleep).
It is not uncommon to see a 50 000 or more, I / S for lsass.exe in work a short day of.
I posted this problem in some of the best forums on the web, with no good response - in fact, it seems the more 'expert' mods and members are, the faster they run away from the issue.  What is the 'dark secret' or something that the mere mention marks one as radioactive?
Should I perhaps remove/replace the program/windows/system32/lsass by a later version of Windows 7?  I noticed on my thinkpad running windows 7 Home premium the accumulated I / O for lsass.exe in everyday use is trivial - less than 10%, the number of Vista system will run even when it is idle.

    Hi Mary 999.

    1. When did you start to question?

    2. did you of recent changes to the system?

    3. you receive messages or error codes?

Step 1: You can check if the problem occurs in safe mode.

Start your computer in safe mode

    Step 2:

If you are not faced with the question in safe mode, then you can try to perform a clean boot and check.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

After you resolve the problem, see the section on boot link to how to restore your computer to a Normal startup mode.
