Auto resize a window pop-up

Hello
I have a pop up window that appears when you click on a link. The problem I'm having is that when the user does not select anything in a drop-down list or inserts comments into the pop-up window, the pop window displays error messages (validation checks) that hides most of the buttons and information within the pop up.
Is there a way where the pop up can resizes a helmet in position when these error messages appear so that all information are visible without the user having to re size it themselves.

any help will be appreciated

    Use javafx bind statement. Here is an example:

    public class ResizeSample extends Application {

        public static void main(String[] args) {
            Application.launch(args);
        }

        @Override
        public void start(Stage primaryStage) {
            primaryStage.setTitle("Hello World");
            Group root = new Group();
            Scene scene = new Scene(root, 300, 250);
            Button btn = new Button();
            btn.prefWidthProperty().bind(scene.widthProperty().divide(5.0));
            btn.prefHeightProperty().bind(scene.heightProperty().divide(5.0));

            btn.setLayoutX(100);
            btn.setLayoutY(80);
            btn.setText("Submit");
            root.getChildren().add(btn);

    Which particular program window? all program windows? even in maximized windows?

    1. try to resize the window by dragging the top edge of the window down, and then drag the window to the top.

    2 or attempt to open at least two windows, do a right click on the taskbar, on the shortcut menu that appears, click on "Cascade Windows", "Show Windows stacked" or "Show Windows Side by Side". If it will work, you will see small windows, then you can drag the edges of the active window to fill the screen.

    3 Alternatively, click the active window on the taskbar, click on 'Move', and then use the "Up" arrow key to move the window to the right. The first step on the arrow that the window will be locked to your mouse cursor, you can use the mouse to move the window, and then left-click on the desired position, simply use the arrow at the start key.

    3. to hide the bar tasks, right-click on the taskbar, click Properties, on the bar tab tasks, click to check the box in front of "Auto-hide the taskbar".

    • Hardware Acceleration (disabled)
    • I did a clean install and restored my previous profile (number still present)

    Since the zoom, which forces a repaint, corrects the display at least temporarily, you can try to disable OMTC, a feature introduced in Firefox 33. Here's how:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the layers and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled to true to false

    Any difference?

    Note: I read in a bug report at the time that this change causes problems with the YouTube HTML5 player, if hardware acceleration is disabled, then you may also force the Flash on YouTube if you keep this setting. You can use an add-on for this: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/youtube-flash-video-player/

  • can't resize the window of firefox, so I can create the shortcut on the desktop

    I don't know how to resize the window smaller, it only makes the impression of the page to the smallest, on the page, not the whole outline of the page, so I can move the symbol to put on the desktop! I used the page resizing in the menu, is there another way to do it? Thank you

    You can see the 3 buttons at the top right of the window frame: (_) to minimize, maximize/restore, close (X)? If these buttons are not visible, Firefox may be in mode "full screen". The F11 key toggles between the normal modes and full screen.

    When you use the middle button on the title bar that toggles between maximized and resizable, is visible in the lower right of the Firefox window? If so, you should be able to click and drag up and to the left to resize the Firefox window. If it is off the screen, you should be able to resize the window in two steps: drag the upper left corner of the window down and to the right, and then drag the window to the top of the screen.

    Not sure it's the right answer, but please give it a try.

  • How can I disable auto resizing of tabs?

    Hello

    I love Firefox, but the one that drives me crazy behavior is auto resizing of tabs. I would like to choose a size for the tabs and that the browser to stick at that size for all tabs.

    Ideally I'd like to achieve this without having to install the extensions for the browser. If anyone can help?

    FYI, I use the latest version of Firefox (27.0.1) on a Mac, under the last Mavericks (10.9.2). I tend to keep everything up-to-date.

    Nevermind, I figured it. If someone else asks:

    • In your URL bar, type "subject: config" without the quotes.
    • In the 'search' field upstairs bar, type "tabs".
    • Search for "browser.tabs.animate." By default, the value is set to 'true '. Double-click it, which must be set to "false".

    The value 'false' should fix auto (incredibly annoying) tab resizing. Now, you can continue to use Firefox and enjoy tabs without continuous frustration.

    Firefox 26.0

    Any help... PLEASE, I BEG YOU!

    Hello

    Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

    (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
    • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

    Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

    If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

    To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

    When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

    Thank you.

  • Cannot resize the window as we have after the new update for Firefox

    This morning, Firefox installed an automatic update, and after that, I can't resize the window to a smaller proportion. First of all, let me explain why I do this.

    We have a local Web page to work where we can keep track of some of the statistics, and it is the only area that I need to post. This area I used to reduce the FF window, move until it was in my opinion and freeze it above all other windows (custom AHK script).

    The problem now is that FF resize to the size, it stops at a certain minimum width. Height is no problem, I can resize the height until he is "gone", but the width to a static limit stops.

    Example: Earlier I was able to resize to 500px width, but now it stops at 700px width and will not go lower. Earlier, this could go, like, 10-20px width.

    A bug, or is there a reason for this?

    It's because of Bug 897160, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=897160.

    Temp fix in comment 27.

  • Cannot resize the window to size full screen

    I just got my new mac mini, and I can't resize the windows as I want.  I place my browser at the top window and use the arrow down to resize height screen entirely, but it goes only to where would be the dock. BUT I moved the dock to the right.

    How can I fix?

    Hit the green button it takes full screen?

    What now the option key and the Green hit button? Does it take all the screen real estate?

  • When I resize my window (smaller size mobile) my vertical scroll bar disappears if I'm less than 800px wide.

    It was in version 9.0.1 and now 10. I resize my window to test how my site looks like smaller screens (iTouch, iPad, etc.). Any suggestions? I don't have this problem in version 4.0.1 I serve up to this point.

    Which can happen if there are items on a toolbar taking a specific space.

    You can try to hide the toolbars when testing to see if that helps (view > toolbars or Firefox > Options).

    Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • I have Firefox 6. How to resize the window to download? It is currently optimized, but I want to work with a small window by default. The size option is grayed out.

    I have no possibility to change the size of the current download window or to set a new default download window size and position.

    If you can't resize the window (try Alt + space) then you may need to reset the toolbars.
