Auto unwanted calls hit on my E Expressway
Dear all,
The unwanted automatic call hitting my E. Expressway from [email protected]/ * /.
How can I avoid or block it so that this appeal will stop hiting on my EXP_E.
Also suggest me if I want to block temporary external public VC call and how do I do this?
Thanking you.
It is a well known problem that has been raised repeatedly in recent years. Take a look at some of the threads in this thread: https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/12484441/hack-attack-vcs-express and this could be interesting:.
https://supportforums.Cisco.com/discussion/12917996/SIP-spam-call-attack-and-MCU-and-VCs-.e and
In short, you can block these types of calls by a combination of CPL and search rules, the corresponding section in the Administrator's guide is referenced in some of the threads.
You will not be able to stop these calls hit your E, but at least you can prevent these calls succeed, Yes, they will appear in the call log, but that's all.
If you want to block all external calls, you will need to put behind a firewall and do not allow something external.
Moreover, for calls SIP that you can prevent a large number of these calls by disabling SIP UDP, however, prevent the H.323 calls is not as simple as that.

I allow calls from verified contacts, but still receive unwanted calls
in do not distrub, I allow calls from verified contacts, but always receive unwanted calls, I even got a call with my name in the caller ID!
If you allow calls repeated under tension, then the telemarketers or who calls you are probably recall several times. As for the one with your name in the caller ID, I am one of those who earlier. Turns out be a telemarketing touting T-Mobile robot. I was incredibly ticked. So I got my carrier on the phone a few minutes asking them to open a trace. These calls are illegal.
The foam of telemark will stop at nothing in their attempts to get through you.

SX20 block unwanted call during the session of the video conference
Hi all
It should be your advisor on it
I have a set of SX20 that is configured as a standalone device (No. CUCM, VCS).
Its work fine, able to make and receive calls through the IP address.
Things in our video conference meeting, is sometimes a unwanted number would call us and disrupt the flow of the meeting.
I don't know how they get our IP address, but we don't expect their call.
Is there any way a setting to block many unwanted call us or disturb us during the video conference meeting.
Is there any configuration that I need set the SX20 itself to prevent the unwanted phone number
Please notify
Titebiket
This is probably a scan SIPVicious or similar, which is how the call is 'you find '.
I have not tried it myself, but there is a selection option or not to allow incoming calls when already in a conference call:

When auto answer call headphones inserted
Hi all
is there a way to configure my Z2 to auto answer when my headphones are inserted, and someone calls me?
If this isn't the case, could you please suggest me an app to be used and compatible with the lollipop?
Thanks in advance
Unfortunately I don't have good news. I doubt that SmartKey will be updated to support the pacifier so I would recommend to check the 3rd party software in this case.

BlackBerry Smartphones phone Auto Cancel call history, address book contacts
It's annoying when you select a phone number from your history, contacts or address book and the "BOLD" auto dials the number.
If you select an incorrect number of touchscreen phone auto dials the selected number wrong, and it's easy to do on a touch screen.
I want to be able to make the call to the phone call button, so I can check the number before it's called.
I want to be able to select a phone number and make sure that I have the right one before the phone dials.
How can I do this?
No, you're right, thank you for answer.
I have big fingers and old eyes, then when I select a number to dial from the screen story or contacts I sometimes miss and select the wrong number, and this car becomes dialed.
So what I was hoping, it was when I select a number that would put it in the field of the dialer and I appeal.
How could I make sure that I selected and dialed the right number.
Thank you

Re: Unable to block unwanted calls.
I get calls from SKYPE robot. He told me that my system works well and that I need an anti virus system for my iPad 2. He won't quit. My Apple cannot use an anti virus program or I would get a free. They don't have anything ring me several times a day. I am angry...! All I could do would be to delete SKYPE from my iPad 2.
TIME ZONE - US EAST. LOCATION - PHILADELPHIA, PA, USA.
I recommend that you always run the latest version of Skype: Windows & Mac

Unity Express 8.6 change the auto attendant calls
Hello, I have Cisco Unity Express 8.6 with autotattendant with the default call flows, for example:
(1) Welcome to the company, if you know the number of post pls dial, otherwise wait for assistance.
The question is when the customer do not press any option, the guest plays "you're still here" and I need to remove it with the script editor.
I want to know in the script where this option to delete or change this prompt.

dealing with the unwanted incoming call to SX 20 during the Conference
Could someone help me please with a problem I have with a new system of SX20.
Is it possible that the system can be set to do not disturb when the first call is in place?
The Polycom VSX 7000, there is a setting in the option multipoint-to-multipoint auto-répondre calls, no auto answer or reject the call.
This means that the first call can be set to auto answer mode and all calls will be rejected.
Is it possible that the SX20 can be put in place in this same mode - auto answer the first call and then dismiss all other incoming calls in "do not disturb" mode
The only option that seems to work is either reject all calls or unwanted calls "ringing" in the session.
Thank you very much
Hello
You can change default "Allow" on "deny".
Conference 1 IncomingMultisiteCall Mode: enable
Deny: An incoming call will be rejected if you are already in a call. You will not be notified
on the incoming call. However, the call will appear as a missed call in the call history list.BR Oleksandr

IP incoming calls in Expressway management
My Expressway is set up to handle incoming calls to [email protected] / * / and [email protected]/ * / _Addresss for the two SIP & H.323. But some video settings can only have a single IP address. Obviously, they must come through a kind of automatic standard, but how to match a call without prefix DN, just an IP address in highway, so I can route the call to an auto attendant?
Thank you
GTG
For calls that use the IP address of the highway and contains no one alias, you can use the feature 'Rescue' alias to route these calls to an auto attendant or IVR, refer to the Expressway Administration Guide on pg 122.

Auto answer on 7.0.85.102 problem
With the last update (7.0.85.102) calls to my office if self answered even if the auto answer option is disabled. This means that callers cannot leave a message and that unwanted calls are turned on, even if I don't accept them at this time.
My system is a home build box with Windows 7 Pro 64 and there has been no change in the system since the last update of Skype, then it is a new issue for me. I don't use Skype on a smartphone, it is installed on my desktop.
I tried activation and deactivation then the setting, but it seems that he has not changed the problem.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
It has been activated but I truned and turn it on again and it works. Thank you.
So for now I agree but I still want my Pamela work and I'll
work with their support to that end.
Thanks for all the help.

When I get a call, I unholster the BB, look to see who's calling, then reply with my BT (BlueTooth Headset). When I try to case the BB, the call is suspended. I guess its because the physical call and end keys are getting hit. Is there a way around this? Drives me CrAzY!
In fact, there is a parameter which, by default, will hang up the call when sheathed.
To change this setting:
1. press the call button to bring up the keyboard.
2. press the menu button, then select Options.
3. select General Options.
4. change Auto end calls: forever.

I received many telephone calls from South America. I know that the calls are from the South because I did a reverse phone number search. Whenever they call, they have accents Indians, so I guess they're from the India. When I tell them that I'm not interested because I know that everything is okay with my computer... they tend to argue & get cocky with me. It is noon & they called 3 times already. Should I report these calls & phone numbers in my local law enforcement? It happened for about a month now. Thank you!
