IP incoming calls in Expressway management

My Expressway is set up to handle incoming calls to [email protected] / * / and [email protected]/ * / _Addresss for the two SIP & H.323. But some video settings can only have a single IP address. Obviously, they must come through a kind of automatic standard, but how to match a call without prefix DN, just an IP address in highway, so I can route the call to an auto attendant?

Thank you

GTG

For calls that use the IP address of the highway and contains no one alias, you can use the feature 'Rescue' alias to route these calls to an auto attendant or IVR, refer to the Expressway Administration Guide on pg 122.

  • How can I manage incoming calls when my application is running?

    HII all,.

Is there an API to manage incoming calls or sms while my application is running? I want to put my app in the background & allow user to reach call when an incoming call is reported.

    Kind regards

    Nishant Shah

BB10 there as the still no API for this, although "flight arrival advice" can give you an idea what is on the horizon.

I do not think that the logical use case but... the operating system will be incoming calls and notify the user in a way, and it is not your application to get out of the way like that.  Perhaps the user wants to ignore the call. In all cases, it will be a trivial gesture (corner kick?) by the user to answer the call.

I don't think you should try to deal with quite different that any other application will be, that is to say completely ignore and do nothing.

  • no caller ID on a second incoming call on IPhone 6

If I talk to someone, and someone else tries to call, I get a sound notification of this second appeal, but NO caller ID. Sometimes I do not even an option to swtich to the second call. Or, I have to let him keep a sound signal, or cling to the original caller. Why is this?

Also, if I'm (although once in awhile), able to switch to an incoming call, I am UNABLE to return to the original call. Sometimes a 'swap' message, but most of the time, I end up hanging up everyone. so I ignored any second call when I am engaged in the conversation. It is a $600.00 phone that is apparently able to do everything, except what was originally invented for the phone. someone at - it a solution?

I've not seen this. That your operator has had to say when you ask, they control the management of calls?

  • Cannot answer incoming calls

So, recently, I tried to open Skype and he said "I was already logged on another computer" and I wasn't so I went into the Task Manager and found a Skype program still running and I closed it. Ran of Skype. Put Skype to date. THEN more problems arise. I can answer now is no more incoming calls and I can't call someone. If I try to call someone I'm stuck on the call screen and it never sounds and if they call me im stuck on the screen where they claim even if they are no longer. Now, I can't talk to my friends on Skype and they didn't and don't won't use any other program. Ive tried EVERY Solution I've seen on the posts related to this issue and none of them works.

  • Connect Skype and incoming calls to the PBX - account problem

    Hello

I have Skype Connect enabled and linked to my PBX with a SIP profile.

Now, I need activate incoming calls from Skype to my PBX.

Therefore, I need to link a Skype business profile account, but he refuses because the account I want to connect is a 'personal account '.

-Can I convert this account to business account?

    - Or maybe I can delete this account and reuse the same Skype name?

Currently, I have 2 accounts (the admin Manager, "msfsupply" and a different account 'msf.supply').

I can't activate one of them for incoming calls.

I would like to be able to use one of these Skype names for incoming calls from my Skype Connect.

Please tell us what is the best thing to do.

    Thank you

    Renaud

    Haha...

I started first with the help of Skype.

They told me to contact microsoft, because it is a business problem.

    I called Microsoft

They told me that it was not for them either and I should post a question here on answers.microsoft.com to get a technician on that.

    Skype sale:

    https://www.Skype.com/en/business/

We do not work for Microsoft.

We are mainly volunteers here, just like you, computer users who give free advice from other users in our own spare time.

So, all I can suggest is TechNet, if Skype and Microsoft won't help you:

  • Cannot answer incoming calls on xperia z3

I got a new Xperia Z3 less than a week and I see when I get an incoming call. But, if I SMS in time, although I can see the call notification I can't answer and the buttons disappear from the bottom of the screen. Slide the top of the screen options disappear also. The phone just hangs and I have to restart the phone every time. I don't know if it does with other applications, or if it's just the e-mail application. Any advice or help on this problem?

    See you soon!

Could you guys go to settings > personalization > manage notifications > the 'All' tab > check so nothing is disabled in this list (at the top of the page). If you find something that is disabled, enable it and restart the phone to see if the same behavior appear.

In this case try to do it to see if it will help you.

Go to settings > personalization > manage notifications, press the tab "All".

Search for InCallUI and check if the box is check.

    Then it should work fine.

    HI Isabelle,.

Hardware support you are looking for is not on this forum.  However, you cannot block calls from your VCS for an individual endpoint.  This can be managed endpoint itself using the "do not disturb".  Access the Web interface and the function is located under 'Configuration' or 'System Configuration' depending on the version of firmware you have.  Then go to the 'Conférence' option on the left panel, scroll down until you see the section "do not disturb".  Change the timeout to zero and the mode 'on '.  This will tell your end point to block all incoming calls until you manually disable this feature.

If you need additional support endpoint, please use the right forum or call TP TAC at 800-553-2447.

  • PhoneScreenVerticalManager strangeness on incoming call

Im making an app that has an earpiece on incoming calls and then adds the phonescreen til fields...

However, I can't really control the width of labelfields or the PhoneScreenVerticalManager that I use.

If I try to set a border or background on the PhoneScreenVerticalManager nothing happens at all.

It also seems that USE_ALL_WIDTH in the labelfield constructor does nothing.

And get the labelfields left align, I couldn't go to work (tried DrawStyle.Left in the labelfield constructor).

You will also need to apply the style USE_ALL_WIDTH Manager you add your LabelField too.  If it will not extend to the full area available, tightening the LabelField.

  • Transformation of the party calls for different incoming calls whose previous number value (0)

    Community salvation.

If you see my other discussions created the last days, I managed to configure some functions on our 6.2.1 CallManager. that we really needed.

But there is a problem and I would like to ask you once again.

Our internal Cisco phones have 3-digit extensions, from 100 to 999. We had the problem one 0 prerequisite not indicated for missed calls, which I fixed in a translation model that adds two '00' to any incoming call. For outgoing calls, one is removed by the CallManager (PreDot), so called work very well.

BUT: the translation model that adds the two 00 only works 100% with 10 digits of the external numbers. For example: If a mobile with 0170555yyyy calls an internal number, it is translated to 00170555yyyyy (without translation, it is only 170555yyyyy) and recall works very well. If instead a mobile with 0170555yyyyyzz calls an internal number, it is translated to 00555yyyyyzz. The reason that seems logical: the translation has the value "00xxxxxxxxxx". So it works only with external 10-digit numbers.

What should I do to make it work with ANY external number? So who calls internal phone - gets two leading '0' being the tracking number by the rest of the caller id?

Can be simple - but I do not see the answer. :-(

    Thank you. Kind regards.

Oh, I see what's wrong. You don't need any call mask part xform. Leave the field blank and just add the prefix...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones untrapped exception: java.lang.NullPointerException on silent incoming call

I got an incoming call and I hit him either the top or to the bottom of the volume button to turn off the sound.  The ringtone to silence, then the unsilenced ringtone 1 second later.  Then I hit the top or to the bottom of the volume once again button, then he silenced and I received this error message:

    Eception exception: java.lang.NullPointerException

I clicked on OK and everything works fine.  Is there any solution for this and should I be worried?  I am running v4.7.1.40 (Platform 4.1.0.40).

HI and welcome to the Forums!

Untrapped exception happen - they are basically an event for which there is no program on the device to manage code. It's like a mistake on a computer--sometimes they straight. Future updates will probably help with some. A few things to check and try:

    (1) make sure you are on the latest OS for your business... you can check your carriers latest version certified through this Portal:

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

    (2) a Hard Reboot:

Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    (3) good memory management:

There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) application memory, the device memory) 2 and 3) Media/SD memory card

Application memory - it is the most important; It is protected (not available to the user), dedicated and (fixed size) space as the destination for the installation of applications (more a few storage applications, overhead and other costs). You can't touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can install only here... There is no other choice.

The device memory - it is space on your BB you can touch these files, images, media, etc. In general, it is not very big, but it is available.

Memory card SD/Media - is what it says... your SD card to store files, media, photos, etc.. It can be as large as your BB OS can support... see this KB:
    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB05461

On some devices/OS levels, enforcement and the memory of the device are combined into "free file"... This is, IMO, a little more difficult to administer that you can't see really how AppMemory you have. Nevertheless, here are some tips to use:
    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB15345
    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB14320
    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB14213

Finally, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. Rather, to close an application, press the BBKey and select 'Farm' or 'Quit'... that forces the application to be closed, freeing for your new use the resources it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.

    Good luck!

  • Transfer incoming calls to several lines on 7960

    Hi all

I hope someone can help out me.  Some time ago, I came across a paper on Cisco's Web site that showed me how to transfer incoming calls to several lines on the same phone.  I can't for the life of find me it.

The scenario is that I have a phone reception (7960) which has 6 buttons on line.  I want incoming calls to its extension 926 to hit line 1 first, if this line is busy he stumbles on line 2 and so on.

I use Call Manager 4.2 at present that is currently configured with monitoring Console.  I'm moving this phone to an another CUCM on 4.2 (it's complicated) with a view possibly to upgrade to the latest version.  I won't use the monitoring I know, that they declined to support in his favor in later versions by opting for a standalone package.  I distictly recall this document is written for version 4.x, when I found it.  He spoke of creating new spaces of research of appellant as ReceptionL1_to_L2 to achieve the desired result.

Has anyone seen this document before and have a link to it?  Or perhaps could suggest a better way to do this?

Thanks in advance for your help, much appreciated.

    Jeff,

I guess that 100 & 101 voip dial peers point to a CuCM?

The destination model on the voip dial peer does not 1001 on the ERA and they must change to something like: -.

    Dial-peer voice voip 101

    voice mail Dial 100

    destination-model [12]...

    voice mail Dial 101

    destination-model [12]...

    destination-model [2]...

    Hope this helps,

    Craig
