  Where should I start in order to solve this problem.

  I don't know why are you fndsm missing entry tns. AutoConfig should have created the tnsnames.ora with this entry.

  Assuming that the architecture you have is

  clodb - only db level

  cloapp - applications (cm, forms, apache)

  1. check if you have the correct entry for FNDSM_CLOAPP_PROD tns in tnsnames.ora on the application tier

  2. make sure that apps listener is running

  If it does not, the cleaner way than it would be to:

  1. stop all application services

  2. run exec fnd_conc_clone.setup_clean (); only applications

  3. run autoconfig on dbtier

  4. run autoconfig on level apps

  Check fnd_nodes, you should have entries for the nodes and the check tnsnames.ora, should have entered correct tns.

  5 start services.

  You don't need to check the log file. Check the log file for details of the error apache.

  By the way you are trying
  1. close apps services
  2. run autoconfig on dbtier that
  3. run autoconfig on appstier and make sure that you have no error message, than check again question

  I have r11.5.9 on AIX 5.2 I have create a new AIX 5.3 Server give the same IP address and copy all files from 5.2 to 5.3 with exact path.
  
  With the same user, I can open db + lsnr + apache on the new Server 5.3, but when I try to connect EBS I can see login page also Ebuniess to get the link but when I click it it thoruh 404 page not found
  
  In apache log file I file does not exist: / oa_servlets/AppsLogin, I can't find pages under $COMMONHIGH on 5.2 and my new Server 5.3. But on 5.2 I canlogin system wihtout any problems
  
  The services start wihtout problem also db, I run autoconfig on appstier but when I try to launch it on dbtier thotugh error: () I don't know that I need to run autoconfig on dbtier for higher erro)
  
  AutoConfig will consider custom templates if it is present.

  I had to manually configure the tnsnames.ora (nodename.domainname added), then start the listener. So ran

  Perl level appsuser db = adbldxml.pl = apps appspasswd = and managed to generate a good contextfile

  and restarted perl adcgclone dbTier to the estate.

  * I also had to copy adbcrdb.sh from the source due to the

  AC-00423: template file: /ora/oracle/proddb/11.2.0/appsutil/template/adcrdb.sh lack of file system.

  It's really great.

  It is quite easy to change apps password.

  Please follow the following steps:

  1. stop the application services.
  2. use the following FNDCPASS utility.

  FNDCPASS apps/apps_old_pass 0 system/system_pass SYSTEM APPLSYS apps_new_pass

  ... Note the 0 (zero) and enters the pass system and applications. update accordingly.

  3. run autoconfig on level apps.

  4 starting the services.

  Its done.

  I also had a question is autoconfig to be run on the source (the two DB & APPS) before running preclone scripts?

  It is not a must to run AutoConfig on nodes sources, however, I wouldn't recommend it impoverish (I used to make me run before preclone).

  What is the impact of AutoConfig race / is not not running before the preclone scripts?

  Depends on what changes have been made recently on the nodes of the source.

  'cp' is not recognized as an internal or external command
  operable program or batch file.

  You have all the pre - req OS software installed on the target node (MS Visual C++, MKS,.. etc)?

  Please search for the executable file of cp and make sure that the directory where this file is located in the path before running the script adcfgclone.pl.

• AC-50480 error on RHEL 5 autoconfig

  I have an environment two EBS node that I cloned from RHEL 4 update 7 RHEL 5 Update 3. The java on the source has been upgraded before cloning. The latest version of java is 1.4.2_19.
  
  adcfgclone.pl has been successfully run on the dbTier and the appsTier on the Admin node. However, when I proceed to run it on the appsTier of the web node, I get a message indicating that the quick Clone completed with success, but AutoConfig completed with errors. When I look at the log file, and the AC-50480 error code. Research about this error indicated that I should try new autoconfig (416630.1 Note) and also to confirm and correct (if necessary) the location of the JAVA_TOPin $APPL_TOP/admin/adovars.env (435760.1 Note). The location of JAVA_TOP is okay and re-race autoconfig does not resolve the error. I have also run the sql command to clean up the simultaneous nodes, then repeat the autoconfig firstly on the dbTier, but I still get the error.
  In addition, I used Note 316806.1 to check that I had all prerequisites them of EBS on an o/s of RHEL 5.
  
  I'm puzzled. Someone has any ideas / suggestions how I can solve this problem? Thank you.

  The user is on a Macbook OS 10.7.5 using FireFox 10.0.1 and when she gets this error: AutoConfig alert

  Netscape.cfg/AutoConfig failed. Error: failure of the pref: [Exception... "Returned item".

  Note that Firefox 10.0.1 is really old (there is a 10.0.2 release and an ESR 10.0.12)

  If it comes to install Firefox itself, then check for a mozilla.cfg (or netscape.cfg) file in the Firefox installation folder. Otherwise, you will need to check this with the it Department or those who provide support for this computer.

  Ideas: I have an Acer monitor with my computer.  A gray box appears frequently in the middle of the display indicating "AutoConfig please wait."  This happens while I'm in the middle of a document or research online.  What could be the cause of this and how to fix this?  I am running Windows Vista.

  This problem occurs mainly due to the graphics card which is present on the system, in simple terms, the graphics card try to adjust the resolution of the screen on the computer for better display.

• WLan AutoConfig was able to start with the error 193:0xc1

  Former title: error 193:0xc1

  My wireless does not connect because it says that the WLan service failed to start.

  I went to the computer > manage > services > WLan AutoConfig. It has been set to automatic but it was empty when he should have said start. When I tried to start it I got the message service was able to start and the error in the title.

  I opened the dependencies in order to check if that was the problem and each of them have begun. So, it seems that the error is always in WLan AutoConfig.

  I tried the system restore (this problem just started today) to an earlier point, last week. It sticks on the system restore is initializing an hour +. I tried several restore points, but it always gets stuck on initialization.

  I looked at similar questions and I did everything recommended in people, but it seems that the answers stop without the original poster saying that they got it to work or not.

  Step 1.
  Follow the steps below and check if the problem is resolved:
  a. Click Start, and then click computer.
  b. go on the system disk, where the operating system is installed (usually drive C :).
  c. find the program file.
  d. remove this file and restart the computer and check if you are able to start the service.
  Note: If you don't see the program file check if the file is hidden. Clickhere to find out how to show hidden files.
   
   
  Step 2.
  If the steps above to solve the problem I highly recommend to run a Virus Scan online.
   
  Sometimes the security program installed might not be fair enough. I also recommend you update your security software regularly.

• WLAN Autoconfig missing-

  I have a laptop HP Vista who lost wireless services.  from the services screen, I see that wlan autoconfig is missing and wlansvc has an error...  The command line > netsh wlan show autoconfig returns automatic configuration service does not.  Is it possible to restore service?
  It's my laptop wives and she had the same problem there are several weeks and Best Buy charge sound almost $200 to fix the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated...

  ·         Did you check if your wireless network adapter is working properly?

  You can try uninstalling the wireless network card and install it. This will reset most of your network components

  ========================
  1. click on start. In the start search box type "devmgmt.msc", and then press ENTER.
  2. expand "Network adapters", double-click the entry for the wireless network device.
  3. click on the "Driver" tab, click "Uninstall".
  4. click on start. In the start search box type "appwiz.cpl", and then press ENTER.
  5 remove the entries related to the wireless network adapter.
  Reinstall the driver with your driver CD. After installation, create the connection.

  Alternatively, you can try to uninstall the driver from Device Manager, then go to the computer or the device factory site download the latest driver for your network card and install it.
